Hiking the Appalachian trail. Stayed here 4 years ago also. Very helpful attendant, he did our laundry. Rooms clean. A little retro ,but very comfortable. Very glad this is here. If getting dropped off, have them drive you to the office, driveway is a pretty good up

Had a great experience here! Best prices I've seen in a long time, certainly for what we got.The staff is friendly and helpful, even did our dirty hiker laundry for us! Rooms are a little dated, but quite clean and stocked with necessities- mini fridge, AC, tv and wi-fi- ours had a couch, table and chairs, dresser and closet, too! Very nostalgic setting, in a beautiful area, close to the Appalachian Trail crossing (where we came in on, tired and dirty). So grateful!

Hey AT hikers, this place is a great value!!!!! Sal was so accommodating when we had to change our reservation by a day due to AT hiking delays. Upon arrival, he whisked away our laundry (complimentary service) and had it back to us within 2 hours!! We relaxed by the gazebo and later played horseshoes with hiking friends. Cute spaces around back to gather and visit. Post office is just down the hill. Seems bathroom renovations are happening, ours hadn’t been updated yet, and it really needs it, but I’ve seen some pictures of others that have been done and they are lovely. A/C, mini fridge and hotter that hot water. Homey vibe.

My husband and I stayed here while hiking the A.T. and it was everything we needed. Comfortable bed, nice shower, extremely well priced, and close to the trail. Also, the gentleman working the front desk was helpful and provided laundry service.

Tuxedo Motel is a gem with a lot of history and character. Had a wonderful stay after getting poured on while hiking the AT. Sal the owner has a heart of gold and told us all about the place while showing us around. Very hiker friendly!

Coming in pretty late, the owner was super friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and price more than fair. Especially because he did our laundry while we could eat ordered food. Hopefully, more hikers will use Tuxedo, we had a great stay 👍

This place is like a time machine! A slice of Americana. I came down from the Appalachian Trail but I can recommend this to anyone tired of the big chain hotels who wants to try something different. And Sal is solid gold, I feel like he gave me special treatment, but something tells me he treats everyone that way!

Unbeatable for the price!!! Sal is awesome!!! He will make sure your stay is wonderful! They have a beautiful gazebo out back, horseshoes, and a beautiful little area! Will be staying here again perfect for faire goers and hikers. They have also filmed movies and shows at the motel pretty cool!

I had a great time staying at the tuxedo motel while hiking the appalachian trail. The rooms were clean, the water was hot, and the staff was friendly. Five stars.
