One of my favorite Indian restaurants which never disappoint me,the food is amazingly delicious 🤤chef is really doing a great job,the place is super clean,the staff is really welcoming,with great customer service,do ask for Deepak,covid 19 protocol are followed well,definitely recommend this place to everyone😇

Out of all the Indian restaurants I have been to in the Northern NJ area, this is my least favorite. They are serving food in broken dishes. Waiter was not polite and food was less than average. We waited to be seated even though restaurant was fully empty. Appetizers came after entree. We were rushed to order even though restaurant was closing in 45 mins. Definitely not a fine dining experience. Not worth the price. Not recommended at all, instead try other local Indian restaurants in bergen county.

Fantastic Indian food. Samosa: crunchy shell, well seasoned potatoes and a bit of vegetable. * While delicious, I recommend getting a different appetizer. Their menu is full of unique and not often seen dishes, discover something new. Chicken tika marsala: a good rendition. The chicken was seasoned well, and the sauce was medium spicy, extremely creamy. And very flavorful. Lamb Bhuna Ghosht: house special lamb. Amazing flavor, melt in your mouth texture. Medium high spiciness, amazing flavor. If this is not on your order your missing out. *My one comment is rather then raw onions on top, maybe charred or carmalized, the sharp flavor of the raw onion kills the soft, complex flavor of the lamb. Tandoori Murgh: while we did not get it, I wish I did. The lady across from us had it. The dish was sizzling, smelled like heaven. She wasn't that big, but she cleaned the plate.

Taste and quantity of the food is really good. Nice ambiance too. There are few things which we feel that is must. They don’t have masala tea (don’t know why it was not there) restroom were closed for renovations but I feel they should make some parallel arrangements for same as we visited this hotel by driving almost 2 hrs so we should expect the restrooms should be open.

Very very amazing food. Traditional yet chic ambiance and kind/helpful service. Big menu. Had Mango shrimp and spinach paneer so delicious. Dessert was very unique and tasty as well. Will definitely be coming back!

Astounding Indian food! A Real Gem! This Sunday brunch really Rocks—and, yes, we are very picky! Nirvana Indian Cuisine lives up to it’s name! Amazing flavors, great variety, superb, service, attentive staff, reasonable price. The authentic, modernized atmosphere—just perfect! And definitely worth the drive from Nanuet, NY! Go and Enjoy!!! Excellent food service and atmosphere. We had chicken Karma in delicious and tender cashew souse; and Lamb chops that were spicy and seasoned just perfectly! We’ll definitely will be back!

I haven’t been to this place in years but I came home and stopped for take out, they did not disappoint!!! The prices are higher than before but worth it at 2x the price!!! Thank you!

Delicious, not too expensive, and the waiters served us almost obsequiously. I had the Ches's Special with Naan and it was extraordinary. Classy atmosphere, not too loud and the music was authentically Indian.

This place is amazing ! I’ve dined in and them ordered to go and both times the food was delicious! My niece is vegan and I am gluten and dairy free due to allergies and they had so many delicious options ! My sister and mom both eat meat and they had amazing choices for everyone. We ordered and I would recommend the following dishes : appetizers - Masala Dosa, uttapam, kale pakora. The vegan Bagara Baingan is the stuff that dreams are made of 😀 my niece said she would take a straw and drink the sauce straight and I agree !!! The vegan Chana Masala and Aloo Gobi were also delicious with great taste profiles. My sister enjoyed the chicken tikka masala and the fruit and naan bread was scarfed up and although I couldn’t eat it myself , my mom, sister and niece who had never tried Indian food all loved it !! It smelled and looked amazing . Service is great and friendly and the portions are large and shareable ! I’ll definitely be back !

Vegetarians should not bother with this place. Tried 3 different vegetable dishes and all were tasteless...no salt, no masala taste. It was weird to eat something that looked delicious but had no flavor! I am assuming their non-vegetarian items are great because there was a constant flow of people coming in to eat or picking up food, so if you are a meat eater give it a go! Their breads were very fresh & soft (thus my 2 stars for food).

It is an amazing place food is excellent…the service is amazing overall if you need an experience for food and service this is the place….keep it up and I will be back with a big group of friends….cheers

Clean. Good service, good samosa but chicken tika masala really less than average. Dominating canned tomato taste, little spices taste and dry chicken. Try another dish. Might be better.

The best Indian restaurant out of all the places I've been to in NJ. The food is delicious, service is exceptional, and the staff always makes you feel at home.

This was our first time coming here. We saw a NYTimes Foodie review from 2015 for this place. The place still lives up to this stellar review 8 years later. It is so delicious; unbelievably good! Service was on point. There was a good crowd but not too noisy. Food came out in a timely manner. The prices were extremely reasonable. I got lamb korma and my husband got lamb saab based on the waiters suggestion. They even obliged in taking a picture for us; going all instagram style! Lol We will definitely come back again!

Best Indian food in northern Bergen County. Great prices and large portions too

Great Indian restaurant with very good ambience. We went there for office lunch during a weekday.Not very crowded and seating is available. Appetizers were amazing which included paneer Tikka, lamb kebab, samosa and onion fritters. Main course is average and not great as compared to appetizers. We ordered naans, veggie korma, paneer Tikka and chicken biryani. Everything was very average and sweet. Highly recommend trying the appetizers!
