My husband and I went to get a take out meal after my son told me about this restaurant. The staff was less than friendly or concerned with customer service. One girl was on her phone yelling into it I can’t hear you as I’m waiting for my order, little interest in customer service, prices are far higher than they should be, food was acceptable. Lack of pride in the restaurant was evident. No concern showed about delayed wait or even an acknowledgement or apology. If you have a peanut allergy stay far away.

Stopped by with my family on our way back from the Beach. I wanted to eat vegan so i decided to give it a try. The food was good, thats why their getting two stars. can’t complain about the food however, i had to ask the young waitress 3 times for something which she kept on forgeting. The first issue was when i called, i asked the waitress if there was parking and she told me sorry theres no parking and theres only street parking which i found odd however, it literally states on the menu that there is free parking at the complex next store! If you aren’t sure about something, ask! Also, when i told the waitress about it due to paying an additional $6 for parking she go’s oh idk. Not even an apology. In addition, the prices of the food was super expensive for the meal your getting. Your literally eating grains and veggies not meat. It should not be $20-25 a meal! Vegan food is promoted as a cost effective cuisine. I’ve eaten at so many vegan establishments with better quality food and good prices even in NYC! The last straw was them charging $2 for two small spoonfuls of hotsauce. I run a business as well however, one thing in a business that very upsets me is being cheap! Hot sauce costs tops $3 a bottle. How are you going to charge a customer for two spoons of hot sauce when there paying close to $80 for a meal. Will never come again, and I don’t recommend this establishment at all. Keep charging your customers 2$ for hot sauce. Maybe you’ll stay afloat.

This place is absolutely amazing. I’ve recently started going on my lunch break, and everything I’ve tried is impeccable. The staff is kind and helpful, and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. My recommendations are the kimchi bowl and earth burger. Edit to review: I am a regular customer that orders the same thing everyday, but their special looked great (Cuban sandwich). I almost ordered it, but my indecisiveness got the best of me so I ordered my usual. I went to pick up my order, and they made me both sandwiches so that I could try something new. Both sandwiches were delicious, and I appreciate that they went above and beyond for me! Their staff deserves a raise, and I have yet to be disappointed 💗

Some good some bad. Right off the bat, I thought the waiter wasnt the friendliest. Area was quite compact and everyone was touching shoulders inside which i didnt really like. LOVED the art on the wall really encapsulated the area well. Food: Loaded nachos- great but i wish they were warm like normal nachos. Got soggy really fast and everything was hidden under like the lettuce and beans- didnt love the way it was served but overall really tasty Mac and cheese- awful did not taste like mac and cheese at all. Ive had good vegan mac and cheese before and this one was just not done well Spinach and artichoke dip- really tasty but it says its served with garlic toast, thats a lie, Ours was just plain bread no garlic flavor and not toasted. I might return to try their other stuff but wasnt overly impressed as a vegan

Went for Valentine’s Day and had the most amazing meal. The place is small but cozy and the staff is kind and hard working. Really had the most delicious meal in a very long time. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

Been vegan a really long time so I’ve tried a lot of vegan spots. Foods good but there’s way better vegan near the area especially because the service isn’t very good. There’s this miserable older guy cashier like 40-50 years old he seemed. Just quit if you hate your life so much man it’s not that serious lol. So if you want to have a nice time don’t even bother. But foods good not really worth it when there’s better food in that area. Sad they used to be pretty great.

Great customer service!! I ordered a thanksgiving meal and thought I ordered it from a different place. They called me to ask if I was still picking it up and stayed late so I could come get it. I felt terrible having them stay a bit after closing. The people were so nice and friendly and the fact that they did this speaks volumes. I’ve been here a handful of times and the food is always great. They have a wide variety of foods to choice from and their dessert is amazing! 10/10 recommend

LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant! Amazing food for vegans and non-vegans (because the vegan food is just so amazing). The owner and staff are also super nice. Highly recommend!!

During my visit, I experience good customer service; an employee helps me navigate the Vegan options, and employees are kind, otherwise. The Pineapple Mango Tempeh option is very filling: this meal option comes with a lot of food! The coconut sauce and mango chutney offer the distinct flavors which may likely be reasons for the meal's name. The ingredients taste fresh though I find each bite most satisfying mixing together versus alone. I order black beans on the side to supplement the meal with more protein: I think the black beans might taste better in combination with another meal portion or so than alone; I recall the flavor of the black beans alone, like unsweet corn with no seasoning directly from a husk. I actually taste a bite of a Spicy Peanut Satay, meeting a friendly person, and I really like the spicy peanut sauce on the Seitan though the flavor of the Seitan bite alone makes me feel as though I'm eating an actual steak (Vegan style). The establishment takes different forms of payment. I like the artistry on the walls of the establishment. The establishment feels like a cozy space to hangout and with so much seemingly going on within the establishment that can keep people wanting to stick around, I feel like the establishment may need an extra room or so for more guests to just hangout.

Liked the food. Loved the ganache chocolate cake. Be aware no parking we had to try several times and called several times and was never told? The guy on the grill was sooo helpful with deciding what to eat. We had the spinach dip, banh mi and my wife ordered a delightful sandwich made with sextant. It was good but in the description it said it was spicy but it wasn't. A nice regular with her daughter shared her crunchwrap with us and it was really good just needed more crunch. Lol! Will go back but was very upset about no one explaining no parking avl.

I ordered take out from Good Karma tonight as I do a few times a month for my family of 3. The food is always great, everyone is super friendly. I’m amazed at how much food the put out from their kitchen and how good it always is. Thank you for helping me and my family have healthy take out food. I think the meals are a good value for a night of no cooking and no doing dishes. Looking forward to ordering again next week. Also, so happy to support a local business that serves vegan and organic food. Keep up the great work all 👍

OBSESSED with this gem of a restaurant! We have been regulars at Good Karma for over two years now and the Philly cheese steak still blows our minds every visit. Besides, the cheese steak, the nachos are a must-try app and the love bowl is a pb lover’s dream. I don’t know how they make their sauce but we are addicted. 10/10 :D.

Best vegan food in Monmouth County! Their seitan is especially good and their mock ups of classics like Buffalo chicken, Mac and cheese and chocolate shakes are crave worthy. Everything is flavorful and fresh <3

I loved the Tuesday potato taquito special!!! One of the best I have ever had....tastes like the taco bell potato soft taco! But I didn't see much on the regular menu that I found too exciting or appealing. Incredible taste profile on the burrito. Great smoky sauce and usage of tempeh!!!! Go on Tuesday

Let’s start with the positives. This cafe has a menu filled with so many items that are absolutely awesome! Rich flavors, fresh ingredients, and great food design to say the least. The portions are terrific and well worth the price, the workers are attentive and very friendly. The cafe has a cozy and modern design, with plenty of indoor seating. We ordered multiple items and they all were so so so good! We got everything from the Live nachos (super refreshing and filling), Baked Tofu Strips (awesome with dip), the Gado Gado Salad, Grilled Portabello Sandwich, Philly Seitan Cheesesteak (the real deal, no animals needed!!!), Southwestern Seitan Bowl (super flavorful comfort food), and the weekend special “Cheesy Seitan and Potato Enchiladas” (still salivating thinking about this one 🤤) Thank you Good Karma Cafe for demonstrating a professional restaurant with a team who delivers exceptional food in both service and taste, this vegan cafe absolutely SLAPS the competition! You can trust we will be back!!! 😁

Me and my partner drove up from Maryland today and look for the nearest vegan restaurant in the area AND THEY DID MOT DISAPPOINT! The staff was very knowledgeable and very polite, made us feel like we were at home! 10/10 recommended. The food was excellent and I can promise you we are making a stop here before we leave town!!

Excellent food, in large quantities and not expensive. I am not vegan but enjoyed all the different dishes that we ordered (my personal favorite: the full-loaded nachos). Atmosphere is very informal and relaxed. Small, so only a few tables fit, but it didn't feel crowded. Staff very friendly and patient.

This place is adorable, clean and bright. It's a small location but cozy and quaint. The food is delicious! They also serve quickly. Parking is tricky but worth the walk.
