I frequently go to the Original Cast Iron Pot and always have a good experience, however their 3rd party valet service is horrible. Opening day of Cast Iron Pot 4 (Signature) their food, was lacking quality control. Though I am familiar with their stores Captain being one of the best their original store has to offer the new wait staff employed are sort of personable and friendly except for one. Their hostess with the tattoos has a horrible attitude which ruined my appetite, which was only worsened with the inexperienced waiters that also double as cooking attendants. This front desk hostess does not know Asian hospitality and presentability, which makes this new place feel no better than an generic Applebees, which is awful considering each patron ends up spending at least $41.00 to $60 per person. It is very simple to express humbleness, humility, and warm equal kindness. The waitstaff and the attending master chef seem to not know the original acceptable quality of thickness of both pork and beef. The brisket slicer is set to the thickness of roast beef. You will end up with that consistency because the meat is sitting at room temperature as well so when it hits the cast iron pan it will overcook itself in less than half a minute. The waitstaff also do not realize you should not in fact be keeping cooking temperatures at maximum because all you are doing is over searing the meat and not rendering any excess fat/sinew out of the meat. Examples of this was their waiters serving me over seared their "new menu item" short-rib bone steak and thick cut pork belly; both had the meat cooked incorrectly and huge chunks of fat. I would rate this less, but I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt and change my review later on.

Very good Korean traditional meat with unlimited refill. You can eat as much as you can. Reasonable price and well trained services. Highly recommend.

Awesome spot to go to for late night dinner. I don’t mind the high price point. Food is good and someone is there to take care of you. At the same time I wish I was allowed to cook everything myself. Other than that I have no gripes. Place is clean and servers are friendly and helpful. We got the brisket, pork jowl, hangar steak, butter squid, beef bulgogi and garlic cube steak. Lots of different sauces and sides to choose from too. The steamed egg was good too. Be sure to give it time to cool as it’s very hot. I can definitely see myself coming back here when I’m the area.

Been going to the original cast iron since they open and what a pleasant surprise this new location was. The decor and atmosphere 4.5 Service 5 - our server Liana, She was the best server I had in a long time. Ty again Food 4 If I had one feedback is that they serve these lettuce for wrap in a dish and gave only 4 pieces of lettuce like we are on a diet. Another would be that servers should watch where the water cups are getting pushed around. Because when I went to take a sip of the water, the cup was extremely hot on the lip area when I drank from the cup and almost burn my mouth.

Amazing BBQ Korean experience at this new local restaurant in town, bring your own wine, beer, whisky, scotch, etc, or go next door there’s a liquor store with good assorted selections of alcohol. James & Izzy were our friendly attentive servers, they guide us on the menu, cut the meats, grilled it, and explain every cut we were enjoying it. For every round the iron is changed, nice touch. Traditional real wood furniture, cool to see this. Definitely a must try, won’t be disappointed at all. As we left the whole staff thank us, something that you see it anymore in the restaurants. Justin was there at the end to wish us good night See you soon 👏.

The food and service of the Cast Iron Pot in Little Ferry, NJ were impeccable! We were welcomed with such a nice host who gave us a tour of the new restaurant which was great. Our waitress, Liana, was super sweet and very attentive, loved her! The food/sauces we tried were all extremely delicious. Lastly, the place itself was clean and spacious. I would definitely come back here for sure, recommend 10/10!

Recommend : garlic cube steak, cast iron steak, spicy dumplings Good: pork belly, rice cakes Ok: squid, Cajun sausage, top blade steak Good all you can eat experience. Specify what you want since there's no galbi on the menu they might interpret a "galbi" order as different "premium steaks" I like that they cut and line up the pieces very nicely. Definitely a more elaborate and careful presentation than the other cast iron locations. The rice cakes I think are fried and have a crunchy exterior. They were nice about supplying tongs by request. (I typically like my beef more rare)

Great spot for lunch and dinner. I'll reminder when you sit down. You have 2 hours to eat all you can make sure your party is there at the same time before you are seated. They have alcohol and some other interesting drinks that you will enjoy it. Definitely try a lot of the meats. They were very good. The appetizers are also good. Our server was incredible. He made all our food perfectly even though we offered to do it. Definitely give them a shout

This place is a must! All you can eat! Food is well prepared, tasty and juicy! We were celebrating a birthday and had a great time. This certainly felt like a family dinner. We couldn’t ask for better service. I can’t wait to visit this restaurant again. It does get busy so my advice to you is to sign up for their waitlist so you can minimize your wait time.

i know this place really well. i am good friends with the waiters who work here. so they use very LOW quality meat to run this business and make it profitable. when you sit down the first plate is usually some what better meat and anything after first order you will get really low quality meat. smell the meat and you will know what i am talking about. many customers who goes here think its a good deal but in my opinion you are eating overpriced sick meat which no human should be consuming. let me know what you guys think. i attached a picture of the owner. the guy on the right.

Had a lovely dinner, great food (gotta try the bone beef!!! 😋 so worth the extra bucks, super juicy and tender) and the service was amazing! Really attentive even though the store was crazy busy, it was super impressive. I loved that this location had a whole new interior, very cozy and really set an atmosphere. 5/5 definitely coming back!!

This place was amazing! From the food to our server Kenneth! I’m a fanatic when it comes to Korean BBQ and this was out of this world that Cast Iron Steak was the group favorite followed by the garlic steak as well! We will definitely be visiting this place again! We suggest making reservations on the way since it does get packed and at times you will have to wait!

I heard some bad reviews about this spot when it first started. The way they marinated the meat was too buttery. I was sorta hesitant to have a try tho got convinced. Eventually, my friends and I still made it there. They were way better than expected. This is an AYCE spot with table service. We ate well and got really full. The price is not bad either. Would recommend a reservation as it's in a complex, next to Hmart and other shops so usually packed. I used to ppl waiting outside to dine in at the weekends.

Food is amazing as usual, this is my family’s go to spot whenever we feel like eating kbbq. And it’s really nice that we don’t have to cook anything. Service is pretty fast considering they always have a full house.

I've been to a bunch of hot pot restaurants. I notice the chains are becoming more common, and figured I'd try this one. I imagine it must be so hard to keep the restaurant clean and smoke free and up to code. This restaurant is new, so everything was trendy and clean. But it fell short in the flavor and service department. The meat was okay, but I've def had better/tastier beef and pork. And the servers would sometimes help u grill and sometimes not, so if u weren't sure how long to cook something, there might be no one to ask for help. I would not recommend this place overall, as there are so many other Korean BBQ places in the area. I also prefer when u can just go to the buffet for the side dishes, bec u can just get a little but of everything: here, u have to order the side dishes, it's a set quantity that comes out, etc. No free ice cream at the end :(

Had a great time with some great friends here. I thought every different kind of meat we ordered was good. The appetizers were good and they give you plenty of rice which I love with meat. Had some veggies on there which I liked as well. We waited about 15 minutes for a table for 5 on a Thursday at 7:30. Not bad at all and it was busy inside. Our waiter was polite and came by often and got everything we asked of him. They come by and cook for you. Nice atmosphere. The place was pretty spacious and was clean. I would definitely like to come back again.

Foods Are awesome. I have had experience in two Cast iron, this one is better than other. Service People are also very good. In rush hours its little bit difficult to get the table in time.

My husband was comparing this to Hanam KBBQ in Palisades Park, as that's his favorite KBBQ spot. But he was disappointed; I, on the other hand, felt that it was decent. The big difference is that this restaurant is All you can eat, while Hanam is not. Tip: they have an online waitlist option, where you can wait in a virtual line to be seated. But it was pointless. I put my my party of 4 on the wait list and was messaged that it's our turn. But then, I still had to wait inside some more. There's no priority or point of wait listing, as you just have to wait, like everyone else. Anyway, the food comes out quick, and the service is fast. I had to ask the waiter to hold on putting on our 3rd meat, as we could barely keep up. It's as if they were rushing us. The meat is not Prime or Wagyu, so some of the steak is tough. My 2 toddmers had a hard time swallowing that, literally. I came for the Bulgogi and the fried chicken, which were satisfying for me. I also wish they had more salads and items served at the table other than the cabbage salad (I believe that's what it was). Some scallions would've been perfect. Otherwise, its a fun place to go with friends, a good experience, and decent food. On a Saturday night, we paid about $41-42 per person.

Excellent location to experience Korean BBQ at it's Best, Great Food, atmosphere and service. It is definitely a place I would recommend to a friend. Just make sure you go early (before 7 pm) or you will wait for a table for quite a bit. Enjoy! @ylsreator

Really great ambience and fresh food.. i was a litte reluctant seeing the negative reviews about the service and didnt want to take a chance but glad my husband forced me to take a chance to have the cast iron experience. As soon as i entered the place had to wait for 2-3 min which is not at all an issue, then we got our table and they asked us to scan the barcode for menu and then the fresh marinated meat were put on to the hot cast iron n trust me it was heaven so so delicious. The sides were also great the popcorn chicken or the regular dumplings were great and another korean side it was too good. The only thing i didnt like was the spicy dumplings didnt feel that great to me. I would suggest to everyone that when you ask for the mains try to do 3 plates at a time so you dont waste the food and also you dont make the meat cold as well. Great choice and definately a must go.

Really loved the food, and the waiters/waitress were very nice and attending to our requests. I highly recommend the popcorn chicken and garlic cube steak!! The one thing I don’t love is the price, but it’s completely understandable as it’s an all-you-can-eat place. Overall, I recommend coming here.
