I ordered through Uber Eats early on Saturday afternoon. The staff called me and told me they didn’t have curry chicken nor carrot cake. They offered brown stew chicken instead. The order arrived and all the food was old from the day before. Never had hard brown stew chicken in my life. The Patties, both beef and chicken, are not fresh but probably frozen and reheated. My man loves jerk chicken and not only was the portion small, but it just didn’t taste that great. Ordered 6 festivals and only received 4, then to top it off, my receipt was never adjusted for not getting the carrot cake. Worse experience with a Caribbean restaurant by far. I’m pregnant and also from Brooklyn, so I don’t play with my food. This was unfortunate and I won’t be ordering again.

Wonderful original home cooking. So much favor. I really enjoy the jerk chicken. Ty 😊 However if I have to provide one feedback is that the pricing of the meal is not readily accessible to someone having a quick regular meal. A 15 dollars and tax for jerk chicken meal seems little on the pricey side if you ask me. As I am leaving the review I see that there is a promo on the Groupon but not everyone uses Groupon. Lastly when people choose dinner on a regularly, if it's way above the normal day to day price on a meal, they won't have it regularly. If more people could taste the quality of the food and not get shy away from 17 a meal. It would be a win win for everyone. More customers mean faster turn around in food , fresher, and I can have this regularly

As a Tourist in US. First time try Jamaican foods. Fresh made. Fresh ingredients. Spacious space for dine in , football table (?) and counter waiting for pick up or dine in. Various menus to try with affordable prices. Extremely sweet and friendly staffs. I got gyro falafel and tasted fantastic. Jamaican puff tastes so good. Peach drink tastes so nice. Jerk chicken with streamed veggies and rice and bean also tasty but not spicy to me at all but spicy for my boyfriend.

I live in the neighborhood and have been dying to try this spot for months… and was sorely disappointed ☹️ I ordered the Rasta pasta and the sauce is literally just oil with barely any seasoning, which if you’ve had Rasta pasta you know is the complete opposite. I also got two patties, one chicken and beef, and they were also pretty bad. The beef patty tasted like fake meat. Just over all really disappointed. Won’t be ordering again and def won’t recommend.

A great experience indeed! Something for everyone. I visited at about 3:45 hoping for minimal wait time and crowd. The wait was not too long but there is a nice place to sit and no crowd . 1 Kids jerk sandwhich with fries 6 jerk wings 1 small oxtail with rice and beans /steamed veggies 1 large curry chicken platter with rice and beans /steamed veggies. The only thing missing was the festival I wanted to try. I only asked for 1 which is likely odd so it wasn't in the bag. Everyone enjoyed so it's worth a second trip.

The food is incredible! I got a jerk chicken gyro and the lamb kabob platter, along with some falafel and humus. Oh my goodness. So delicious. They are such nice people and obviously have a passion for making food as a love language. ❤️ I'm definitely going back and bringing friends!

Great food, but be sure that they're giving you what you ordered. I think they have some new people on staff who aren't familiar with the menu yet. I ordered a gyro combo, and got a smaller fry than usual and a jerk chicken gyro, even though the guy clarified with me that I wanted the lamb. Good thing it was still tasty.

The place is immaculate, looks tired but very clean. The food is fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and professional. It was a pleasure to deal with the young lady who took care of me and cooked the food.

We tried Lyndhurst Jerk and Gyro and loved it. We ordered Gyros and they were so delicious. The meat was fresh and tender and they gave you a lot of it. The bread was soft and fresh. I can honestly say the Gyros here were better than I have had in Greece, where my family is from. The people are so friendly and nice. We live on the other end of the county but will definitely take the trip back here in the near future. We are so happy and had a great lunch.

Had the Jerk Chicken platter with rice and beans and steamed vegetables and let me tell you, the food was flavorful, the chicken was so tender and they were generous with the portion. I love this place already and will definitely come back again. I highly recommend! The restaurant’s interior is also VERY clean.

delicious jerk kebab chicken platter! comes with pita bread and rice. tastes like having home cooked meal. they have some games there too

First time trying this place and it was interesting. We ordered the chicken kabab platter with fries and the jerk chicken platter with rice and peas. The chicken kabab was nowhere close to what a kabab should be. It was just chopped chicken placed in a container with some pita and fries (frozen ones from a bag). Fries made with freshly cut potatoes have a different texture and isn't devoid of flavor. Kabab is supposed to be skewered and grilled. This wasnt. Anyhow, as someone born and raised in the Caribbean, I like good rice and peas. This rice and pea, however, was just ok. The jerk chicken had flavour but it wasn't spicy as the authentic variety should be, which is understandable when you are catering to different palates. The steam veggies was bland. Based on reading other reviews and seeing the replies, I am not sure the owners consider these reviews as beneficial. I probably should have read the reviews before I purchased. How can you advertise yourself as Mediterranean and not have Baklava? That's one of the most popular Mediterranean dishes. My Turkish friend would be livid. With that said I can't give them a 1 but can't give them higher than a 2. My advice would be don't be a Jack of all trades and a master of none. Work on either producing great Caribbean food OR "Mediterranean" food. Trying to do both isn't working.
