The Beacon Theatre is one of the most beautiful theatres that plays host to comedians, musicians, and all types of performances. We've been lucky enough to see: -John Legend -Brett Eldredge -Bob Dylan -Nate Bargatze -Jerry Seinfeld It is truly an iconic venue! We've always had a good experience here; it's worth seeing a show if possible!

Wow! Amazing theater! We had a great time seeing City & Colour here in May 2023. The Seats were in Loge Center, and were incredible. The sound system was perfect, and I really don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Such a cool theater and experience, we are looking for our next opportunity to see a show here.

Went to see Trevor Noah here. It was my first time at this theater. It's nice, smaller theater. Trevor was making fun that the sounds system has issues. But where we were sitting, he sounded fine. It was a great show!

I really liked this venue. It was small enough to feel close to the artist but still big. The art is beautiful. Very eye engaging. There’s also a bunch concession stands and bathrooms.

Nice venue to see a show. The seating is comfortable and easy to find. There are plenty of bars as well to keep you from missing the show. We really enjoyed this place even though Interpol just phoned it in that night.

Nice theater with a classic feel, but you tend to notice the decor is crumbling a bit and things just seem old and outdated and neglected. Staff here was nice enough , they didn’t allow photos inside so I can’t share what it looked like. The show was good, the acoustics in this place are great and you can hear everything clearly all the way up to the balcony level. Exiting this place was a complete mess, it was as if they had no plan in place at all. They just opened the doors and let hundreds of people just fight and push themselves down the stairwell, very unsafe and unprofessional for a theater of this caliber. Drinks were VERY watered down and overpriced even for Manhattan.

It was a great show! When you watch him and listen to Trevor Noah live, you realize how special he is. No matter what situation he described he always managed to see and give it a positive turn then on top of that, makes it funny. Definitely totally recommend.

This was a nice theater with very good seats and sound system. I came here for the John Legend concert and it was awesome. Since it's a smaller setting it is easier to get a drink during the concert and intermission. The only down side is the restroom situation, but this is an issue with all venues during a brake. Overall, I highly recommend this theater. #johnlegend #theater #empire #soundsystem

Still as beautiful as the first visit 35 years ago. The staff is phenomenal, always ready to assist clients. Concession is efficient. Don't hesitate to attend a show when your favorite artist appears.

The Beacon Theatre is an old gem that is a step back into old world charm. The staff, concessions, and event management were sadly disappointing. The experience was one step above arriving at an airport and being ushered through security, customs, etc. We opted to attend a pre-show meet the artist add on. It meant we needed to be outside the theater by 4:30 to ensure we could attend the event, it also meant once in the building, if we left we could not reenter. The preshow was advertised as open seating - staff barked at us and others who, once on the theatre stepped outside of the line. After the preshow, we were ushered out of the seating area to stand in the hall - cold air blasting everyone someone entered from the front or rear. Concessions were limited to salty snacks - chips, nuts, and pretzels; and a couple is sugary things - twizzlers and some chocolate. When I asked an attendee about the “small plate” that was listed on the digital display, she said “I’ve been here two years and we’ve never had that.” We were let back into the seating area after hanging around n the lobby for an hour. An unpublished warm up band, part of a charitable contribution, blasted rock music - which would have been fine if we had planned on attending a rock concert - which we were not and would not. After a check presentation and applause all was quiet for nearly 50 minutes. The 7:30 show actually began at 8:38 - which would have been fine had it been announced. Or had there been decent food, or had we been allowed to get something to eat elsewhere, or had the staff simple not been so rude. Well unlike heading to the airport, at least we were allowed to keep on our shoes.
