I always forget about ACE Hardware and go to one of the big box stores out of habit. I was immediately reminded of how much better the experience is at ACE when I was greeted by friendly, helpful and knowledgeable ACE employees who walked me directly to what I was looking for. The item I needed was not available at the big box stores. The price was competitive and I even used a 15% discount to get an even better price! It is worth the extra couple of miles for me to get actual customer service.

They always have what we need. Today we purchased keys for our van, paid $4 each. Had we gone to a Toyota dealer they would have been $100 each.

Usually my first go to. The employees know where the products are located. You can even ask questions and get a usable answer. Thanks Brownsburg Ace!

Ace folks are so much better than ppl in like Menards who couldn't care less about helping you. Still, not sure how places like Ace are still up and running when having to compete with bigger hardware places. Good job friends :)

They shorted me on propane!! I don't know if it's a lack of knowledge from the top down or just laziness on the employee, but they didn't let the air gap out of my propane cans only filling them 3 gallons not 4.7gal. Anyone who has worked around propane or gone to a professional like mowery knows this is how to properly and completely fill a tank. If this has been going on for a while, then they have shorted people hundreds of gallons of propane!

If there is a zero star, I could have give them zero star. Store Manager was very rude and did not know how to deal with the customer. She better stay at home and don't come to work. Such a nonsense people. Worst experience ever I have had in this store.

Small local shop usually has what I am looking for... especially odd things. Service is usually friendly, but it would be nice if when the cashier greets you walking in, she would actually look up from her phone.

After visiting two big boxes and two other hardware stores, I gave Brownsburg Ace a try. I was promptly helped in a very courteous manner with my custom paint mixing by Jordan. She was very knowledgeable and willing to try some thing she had not done before with the paint. It turned out perfect! I will most certainly be back for any future needs. The store was well lit and well stocked and most importantly, offered great customer service. Thank you Jordan for a wonderful experience at your store. It is quite evident that you know and care a great deal about paint, the store overall, while offering superb customer service!

Great place to shop for quality items. Prices are much lower than Lowes and also lower than walmart at times. Very clean. Staff are always very helpful and friendly

Never again will I step foot In this store. We picked out a swatch in the store to have some paint mixed. After we got home we tested It on the paint stick and it was not in the same realm of color we picked. Took it back the next day and the lady who mixes the paint immediately went full angry mode. At this point I was calm about it. She said the color was fine it was because I picked semi gloss and the swatch was dull. I asked if the Color could be tinted with some black to get closer. She literally rolled her eyes and had a unprofessional attitude. After arguing with her about it I said fine I’ll just return it. She snapped back “ we don’t allow returns on paint. I was more upset with her attitude than the color not matching. she was just nasty!! After a scene in the store she finally refunded my money for the paint. I asked to speak to the manager and yep SHE WAS THE MANAGER. This Ace hardware just lost my 3 to 4 trips per week business forever. Not because the paint didn’t match, because someone like this is actually treating customers like this.

Slightly underwhelmed. I was there twice for 2 different projects while visiting my Mother. 1st project was fixing a leak and replacing handle in an outdoor faucet. A great staff member looked and they could order a handle but no replacement parts. Had to go to Lowes 😞. 2nd project replace screen. Young told me they did not sell screen but bring in in for repair. When I asked if they had any in the back he said yes but it was not for sale. I asked him to check with someone else. He reluctantly did and found they did have screen on the sales floor. Be sure find knowledgeable staff if you can't find what you need.

Very good customer service and support. Helped me with my U-Haul reservation.

Did you wait until the last minute to buy ice melt for an incoming winter storm? Have you been all over town looking for ice melt? You should save your gas and go straight to Ace. They have what you need....every time. Love this place. Much more like an old fashioned hardware store. Service is awesome. People act like they know you and you are one of their old friends. Plus they have tons of knowledge. Great place to spend your money.

So today, I just wanted to look for a couple small things. I really didn't want to go all the way to Lowe's or pass my work and go to Menards. So I looked up the nearest hardware store and Ace came up. Okay, I'll go to that. Was welcomed as I walked in and ask if I needed help finding anything. Love it already! Luckily everything I needed was in the first few aisles on my left. Didn't really go down all that aisles. Had a good experience the first time and will try to be back. Love supporting the smaller hardware stores. Also I got a free hat, so that another reason why I already love it! Didn't become a member but I may next time I visit!
