Such a beautiful area to explore! It has the most amazing views and convenient parking. You can really get a breath of fresh ocean air. We even saw a bunny along the way.

One of my favorite places in LA!! The view is so beautiful and peaceful. The sunsets are to die for! 💜💜💜 truly an amazing place to walk around and just take a break from everything!!

The best place to see the sunset! Parking spaces are enough and atmosphere is good. But the lighthouse closes very early so if you want to visit there, please get there before 3pm. However I think the best time to visit this area is around sunset time. There is also a very nice tracking track around this place. Highly recommend for a sunset!

Beautiful area to catch a sunset. Bring binoculars during whale watching season, you may catch one close by. Nice trails, very easy walks. Picnic benches, and area to bring your folding chairs.

What a wonderful place to take a walk along the cliffs. You can see peregrine falcons hunting, whales, dolphins, ravens playing drop and catch the flowers, red tail hawks. Have even seen the Palos Verdes blue butterfly once (smaller than expected), lots of wild flowers like the wild California lilac below. Always love being there and should visit more often. Great place to take pictures - so many visually rich vignettes and the rocky beach below providing a different perspective on how a beach sounds.

According to the sign the lighthouse is only open once a month, so good luck with that!! But you don’t need the lighthouse to be open to see how gorgeous it is and to enjoy the spectacular view. Do yourself a favor and visit the free museum to learn more about the area and the lighthouse.

Really nice place to take a walk, picnic, or just lie on some grass and listen to the surf pounding the bottom of the cliffs, 200 feet below. Super relaxing, and free to visit! There is a long trail that goes along the shoreline, a grassy area with trees and picnic tables, and a visitor center, where you can nearly always find a group of whale watchers scanning the ocean with binoculars and telescopes in hopes of glimpsing cetaceans. There are also public bathrooms at the visitor center.

Amazing place to visit if your driving thru or want to experience the amazing sights for hours. This is the place. Worth a 5 minute detour if your traveling thru or if you want to visit for a good hour or more, it's a wonderful place to whale watch and just enjoy a nice little walk to and from the lighthouse to the visiting center building. Amazing.

One of the most surreal beauties in the entire world in my humble opinion. I have done a decent amount of traveling and few places rank higher than the natural beauty of this park.

Very cool view of the ocean from Point Vicente. A short drive from other beautiful landmarks in the area and nearby cafe/shop. Worth the stop. Beautiful views, fresh ocean air, seemingly quiet and serene, has trails that you can walk along the ocean cliff side. Check out the light house run by the US Coast Guard. There's a cool little museum inside one of the main buildings. Strike up a conversation with one of the US Coast guards and they'll tell you all about the history of the light house and stuff in the museum .

Loved the fact that it's so close to major landmarks in Palos Verdes and yet pretty simple and easy place to have a day picnic without burning the bank..for a lunch or sunset picnic this place is quite a gift. Nice views; decent free parking; green area to sit; benches and BBQs. I will recommend checking it out without having too many expectation.

You can’t go wrong with visiting this place. It’s one of the most beautiful trails you can walk on. The ocean views are breathtaking. Paved parking lot gets full fast on the weekends, but there’s usually plenty of parking on the dirt closed to the lighthouse. You can’t get access to the actual lighthouse area during the week, but I believe it’s open once a month on a Saturday (I think it’s the first Saturday of the month) There’s a park right next to the trails and you can find picnic tables there. Or you can just chill on one of the benches and enjoy the view.

The park has a picturesque lighthouse that is visible from the trail, but is only open for visitation once a month.

Easy walking trail with wide walking paths and gorgeous oceanside views. Every weekend there seem to be bird watching and whale watching here. Several small parking lots provide easy access via car.

Great views in a lovely, scenic setting. Small museum was free and informative for us as visitors from the Midwest. Wish we could have gotten closer to the Lighthouse but it was fenced off. Otherwise a great place to look at local flowers and ocean views, or just relax.

We’ve been coming here with out of town guests, or just on a weekend when we need some gorgeous ocean views, for years. The area is always clean and feels very safe and inviting. The views are insane and the sounds of the crashing waves is hypnotizing! Great place for a picnic or a stroll on the cliff path.

Cool breeze from ocean, about mile long easy trail along the cliff with not many people. And to get there you drive in one ofost scenic ocean drive in Socal. We liked so much we are back in a week. I really should give it one star so it does not get crowded!

Stunning view! It was peaceful and there’s signs of whale watching. Although we didn’t see whales, I was happy to feel the breeze and enjoy walking along the trail.

We actually got to witness a proposal! It was so sweet. There was a man playing his guitar at the entrance it was so nice. The ambiance is calm, and the view is inspiring.

The trails from Torrance to lighthouse are full with great views via the shoreline to Los Angeles downtown and the snowy mountains at the background.

Beautiful place to have a picnic and watch gorgeous sunset at the coast. Place is super clean and there’s huge free parking lot but lighthouse is closed on Sundays

An amazing park / lighthouse. This is one of the best places in Palos Verdes for a hike, nature walk or even run. There's a trail along the cliff with amazing ocean views. The park itself is not that big but overall it has picnic tables, a grassy area, restrooms which aren't clean and parking. The parking can be difficult especially during peak times and the lighthouse is only open once a month. I recommend going when the sun is setting or rising.

Nice coastal views and a little museum onsite with lighthouse gear like light bulbs, etc.
