Review for August 2020. Brand Park memory Garden is located in front of the San Fernando Catholic mission. It is very well kept and during spring is the best time to visit because of the bloom of the beautiful roses there. I'm not guilty, to say that it is a beautiful place to visit. Especially if you want to go for a walk or even have lunch on one of the benches. Lots of History here as this place has been here for over 150 years. Great place to relax and meditate and to chill. I'm not guilty, to say that I absolutely love California's gold. This is one of many thousands of beautiful California iconic centers of attraction within Los Angeles County.

To be honest im reluctant to share this review...you may steal me secret paradise! A grand, oval-in-rectangle patterned garden filled with spectacular roses, fragrant citrus, and some small fountains. To get the most euphoric, engrossing experience come in mid march to experience the citrus Blossoms completely filling the air with their fragrant perfume! Watch the busy bees buzz about the blossoms briskly bustling their bushels of pollen back to the behive! Come back in mid April to see the garden transform from blossoming citrus to blooming rosebuds that have a deep, intoxicatingly sweet fragrance...the beautiful bees will be back but they will be sure not to bother you while they busily buzz about. But please dont read this....and please dont come here....i want it all to myself!!!!

Great location for photos and video. I am a filmmaker and have used this park for many quinceanera clients. Great variety of flowers and backdrops.

Very beautiful park. The water fountain isn't on but it's absolutely great for capturing some pictures and being in nature. Summer time would be a great time to come due to the flowers blossoming.

I've been coming to this park for over 30 years , its a classic spot 👌, the rose garden has always brought a smile to my face , and the smell from all the beautiful different colors of roses will leave you wishing you had them in your garden . I've witnessed many people over the years have photos taken here, children's field trips stop for them to have their lunches , and couples walking their dogs. People who grew up coming here are now bringing their grandchildren here , I hope it never stops . Make sure you walk in the garden and read all the plaques on the walls , you will gain knowledge of the history of the different missions.

First time visiting this park. To say it was very busy would be an understatement. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and there were about 10-15 groups of people taking pictures for weddings, quinceañeras, etc. The park has some nice grounds. Lots of trees and covered walkways provide plenty of shade. There is also a variety of flowers throughout the grounds. The letdown for me was the condition of the grounds. I really wish people didn’t trash public places, especially nice parks like this one. The pavilion area seemed to have been taken over by the local homeless, seeing as there were mattresses, a sofa, and other things under the structure. All in all, I’d say it’s a nice park but there are definitely better spots to take pictures around town.

Way too many homeless to feel comfortable. Also has holes EVERYWHERE I guess from ground squirrels. Very difficult to walk and no pathways.
