Peaceful ๐Ÿ˜Œ , clean and attractive ๐Ÿ˜ place in gwalior city. For me this is the best place to spend your evening here. Very peaceful environment. You can sit here and go boating, although boating is chargeable. If you are lucky you can enjoy a musical evening here. Best place for selfie lovers.

Baija Taal is a man-made lake located in the city of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India. It was built in the 18th century by Baija Bai, the wife of Scindia ruler Maharaja Madhavrao II. The lake is oval-shaped and is surrounded by stone steps and gardens. It is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, who come to enjoy the scenic beauty and peaceful atmosphere. Things to do at Baija Taal: Take a boat ride: Boat rides are available on the lake, which is a great way to see the lake from a different perspective and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Visit the Baija Taal Cultural Complex: The Baija Taal Cultural Complex is a complex of buildings and gardens that was built in the 20th century. The complex houses a museum, art gallery, and library. It is also a venue for cultural events and performances. Enjoy a picnic: The gardens around Baija Taal are a great place to enjoy a picnic with family and friends. There are also several benches and gazebos where you can sit and relax. *Watch the sunset: Baija Taal is a great place to watch the sunset. The lake reflects the colors of the sky at sunset, creating a beautiful sight. Tips for visiting Baija Taal: The best time to visit Baija Taal is during the winter months (October to March) when the weather is pleasant and also in the night as it has been renovated with lights which enhances its beauty in night. Overall, Baija Taal is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Gwalior.

During my recent visit to Gwalior, this place I loved it. We went only during the day time. The place is very quiet and we can spend quality time. If you visit in the evenings ithe entire place is decorated with lights. The architecture is the highlight of this place. The center floating type place is very attractive. Such a big tank and there are boating facilities available here. Those who visit Gwalior must visit this place that too in the evenings. This can be easily reachable by any kind of vehicles. Ample space for parking available. No entry fee. This place is for photo lovers and apt for pre or post wedding shoots.

It was a night of Wednesday when I was just walking around the baija tal road & what i saw was so captivating, the ambience & night blues of baija tal was very satisfying to my eyes & my heart, ( vo kehte hai na - ek Nazar mai Jo Dil ko pasand aa jata hai ekdum wahi ) & i couldn't stop my self to capture๐Ÿ“ธ all of this beautiful scenes in my camera folder๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŒŸ. I spend my 1 hour for just capturing these scenic beauty & just wandering that may be I get some nice pictures so that I can make a photo frame to hang it in my drawing room to show my relatives & friends that how beautiful is 'baija tal' which is situated in "City of Kings" GWALIOR ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜‡๐ŸŒผ๐Ÿšฉ

This historic oval shaped water tank made by the maharajas located besides moti mahal complex within the phoolbagh premises is a good spot for boating during daytime n beautifully illuminated specially during the evening hours. Visitors along with localites visit this place and is one of the tourist attractions in Gwalior. A great spot to sit and chill on the stairs of baijataal and this place also offers some cultural and musical activities happening quite frequently.

I had really great time with friends here, this place is really amazing. Usually boating lakes are dirty but this one is different, the fair is โ‚น30/person for 20 mins. Btw some boats don't work properly so checkout before riding it. It's really fun so just enjoy and be careful as they don't provide life jackets..๐Ÿ™‚

This serene spot is an oasis for those seeking peace. In the morning, it's perfect for jogging. In the evening, it buzzes with people socializing. It's beautifully lit up at night, with a central water feature adding to its charm. It's more than a place; it's a peaceful hideaway for relaxation and community.
