I
had
the
pleasure
of
visiting
Gwalior
Zoo
on
Wednesday,
November
15th,
2023
accompanied
by
my
wife
and
our
8-year-old
and
5-year-old
daughters.
Comparing
this
visit
to
last
year's,
I
am
delighted
to
note
a
significant
improvement
in
the
upkeep
and
maintenance
of
the
zoo.
The
animals
appeared
exceptionally
healthy,
and
the
overall
ambiance
was
impressive.
The
zoo
is
commendably
well-staffed,
ensuring
both
safety
and
security
for
visitors.
One
aspect
that
stood
out
was
the
stringent
enforcement
of
cleanliness
guidelines
by
the
vigilant
security
staff
and
shopkeepers,
contributing
to
a
hygienic
and
enjoyable
experience.
We
had
the
opportunity
to
observe
a
diverse
range
of
animals,
including
lions,
white
tigers,
leopards,
sloth
bears,
ostriches,
emus,
crocodiles,
alligators,
sambhars,
spotted
deer,
various
exotic
birds,
snakes,
and
Indian
foxes.
Not
only
does
the
zoo
cater
to
wildlife
enthusiasts,
but
it
also
provides
a
dedicated
play
area
for
children.
Additionally,
the
availability
of
a
well-maintained
eating
area
with
a
selection
of
shops
offering
bottled
water,
tea,
coffee,
wafers,
puffs,
and
more
added
to
the
overall
convenience.
In
summary,
our
visit
to
Gwalior
Zoo
in
2023
was
a
thoroughly
enjoyable
experience.
Kudos
to
the
zoo
management
for
their
efforts
in
creating
a
well-maintained
and
secure
environment.
Keep
up
the
excellent
work.
Note
-
The
zoo
releases
only
one
tiger
at
a
time
to
ensure
that
the
tigers
don't
fight
with
each
other
and
are
kept
safe.
Check
the
timing
with
the
Zoo
staff
prior
to
your
visit
if
you
are
keen
on
seeing
the
white
tiger
and
cubs.
Usually
they
release
the
white
tiger
first
thing
in
the
morning
(around
9
am)
and
in
the
evening
(around
4
pm).
