I am not one to leave negative reviews and would always look to give anyone the benefit of the doubt but I have been left with no choice whatsoever! Firstly, I was advised to call and make an appointment but they couldn't fit me in for another week. When you consider that my son had impetigo which is contagious and would mean him being out of school for a week that was a non-starter. When I mentioned this they asked me to the following morning at 8am to "get him in" but I called AND turned up at 8am at the centre however they only open at 8.30 so waited thinking I'll be first in the queue. How wrong could I have been as they refused to see my son. We returned home to have a telephone consultation for which I had to call back twice after which my son was prescribed the relevant medication however it took a day and a half and 5 phone calls for the prescription to be signed up/electronically sent to the pharmacy potentially and I say potentially as it still hasn't been done yet, i am still waiting!!!

One of the most pathetic services I have seen in my life, no care for patients no proper treatment and top of that the staff is not sync amongst themselves, recently i have visited them 3 times for my son regular vaccination appointment and evertime there was a condusiom at their end and I have to return back, even i had a very bad experience with of the practitioner over there who has a very bad and rude attitute with my wife and top of that we received the warning letter from ISSA centre without doing invistigations. In one of the incident we were being asked to learn about your problem at google and they have sent us the sms to nhs link for understanding rather then explaining or giving treatment. Recently almost all covid related restrictions are revoked still the Surgery not giving face to face appointment and when we are insisting for it we are getting simple ascused because of covid we cannot give face to fave appointments.

Absolute joke of a surgery. For over a month I have been trying to get an appointment to see my GP. I've even resorted to going into the surgery. When you visit you are greeted by the most unhelp and rude staff I have ever had the displeasure of speaking to. You are fobbed off and told they can not help and you'll have to call up at 2 pm. You call at 2 pm to be told there are no appointments. You can not be made to feel any more unwelcome and are shown no respect at all.

This people have made too difficult to get an appointment. They want us to call at 8am and 1pm for the appointments and waiting time on on phone in usually half an hour. They have built a big building thinking the services will improve, but seems it has gone worse. Despite paying huge amounts on NI we don't get required and timely service. Hope they come up with some solution.

If you have any sort of mental health then I wouldnโ€™t consider registering here, if your agoraphobic youโ€™ll be told be a snotty rude receptionist that you HAVE to come inโ€ฆ they donโ€™t deem mental health as a reason to have an appointment with your GP and are told to โ€œjustโ€ refer yourself to mind matters!! Absolutely ridiculous. Letโ€™s not mention a dr telling me my 1 year old daughter had a viral infection but 1 hour later ended up in hospital with a chest infection unable to breath! I could go on but Iโ€™d be here all day. I just wouldnโ€™t bother going here at all.

The service is getting worse and worse. Firstly pharmacy staff, specially one lady, she has no manners at all. More busy to check her phone than customers. And now, desk staff; i have booked my appointment which was very important as i am often short of breath which causes fainting. On arrival date Iโ€™ve been told I donโ€™t have any booked appointment. I will have to wait another week or so. I had a small note to prove my booking but all the ladies said they did not know whose handwriting it was. Absolutely unprofessional. I think time to change GP. More and more disappointed.

Absolute joke. Called in the morning for an appointment been told to call back after lunch time. I asked her whether they give appointments in the afternoon on a Thursday. She said yes. I asked her specifically again mentioning Thursday, she said yes. Called back after 13.00 and I was told that they don't have surgery on Thursday afternoon. They are no good.

if I could give - 0 stars I would... I think the biggest joke this company without a bit of professionalism. I'm trying to make an appointment for a blood test 3 weeks after an eye check. after a week I went and they said they didn't receive any email, I went and brought them that letter from the ophthalmologist and after another week I have to come after another week to make an appointment, so practically no chance this year. I feel disgusted by these people without compassion

I called the GP yesterday. I was on hold for 40 mins. when someone finally picked up I asked for an appointment with a doctor and was told the doctor would call back the same day. I waited until 6pm but no one called back. I waited today until 12pm but I haven't had any phone calls either. I called them and heard that the doctor tried to contact me 2 times the day before and when I didn't pick up she left a message. I told the lady at the reception that I had not had any missed calls from the GP, but the lady at the reception tried to tell me that I was lying because the doctor was calling. I asked her to leave a message for the doctor to call me back tomorrow but she said I have to call at 8am to make an appointment. I said I wouldn't because it wasn't my fault the doctor didn't call. she went for the supervisor and then the supervisor said that Dr called and left a voicemail with a gif-gaf. I told her I had a phone call from o2 so I couldn't get any messages, suddenly she made an appointment with the nurse for tomorrow morning and said I could file a written complaint if I wanted. this GP is useless.

I have received some disgusting service from doctors and receptionists at Issa Medical. First of all, I have found incredibly difficult to get through to a receptionist just to make a simple appointment. Even for an appointment to request a blood form. I was finally able to get an appointment to speak to this very rude doctor who would keep speaking over me and argued with me. All I wanted to request a blood form which also tested my iron and ferretin levels as I have previously been low in it. My health keeps deteriorating as I have attempted to get an appointment multiple times and never been able to get through or have been turned away. All I needed was the blood form to include ferritin and iron. I do not understand why this is so difficult? The doctor was completely incompetent and had zero empathy to a sick patient. How she had a license to work as a doctor absolutely baffles me. It was doctor Kumari I spoke to. The call was recorded and I would like this to be listened to by a manager or someone who is actually wanting to help. The stress of this situation has worsened my palpitations, I have passed out due to possibly being low iron and from dizziness. This is not the first time my health has been neglected by the staff at Issa Medical Centre.

Its impossible to get an appointment when you need it badly, after a 30-minute hold call you come to know that appointments are finished move like we're living in 18th century also the pharmacy is the worst of all staff have no manners today with patients or customers, takes about 20 /25 minutes for medicine if there is no one Dr Patel you need to review all your hard work Looking forward to a new Surgery

My wife wanted to be seen by a female doctor as she is a bit uncomfortable male doctor. When the female doctor realised that we asked for a female doctor she started showing attitude and said itโ€™ll be impossible to see a female doctor in the future. She quickly got rid of us absolutely wast of time

Great facilities there and stunning new building on Garstang road, every time i have spoken with someone they have been very efficient helpful and the staff have been very friendly. The only downside is getting an appointment or even getting through to them, every time i call, all the appointments have gone, or i am number 30 in the Queue and i am waiting on the phone for ages. They need a better phone system in place to handle the amount of people waiting, or another phone line and member of staff to mann the phones.

Can be difficult to get through but which drs surgery isn't at the moment. When I do get through 9 out of 10 times I can get a same day phone consultation and then if necessary we are invited in for a face to face. I email my prescription requests through and get them either same or next day. Me and my 6 year old are grateful for the hard work and perseverance all the staff provide.

I have been with this practice for so many years, and I have been always happy with the service they provide. Staff are really nice, nurses are very understanding and especially Dr. Choudry and Dr. Patel are my top favourite doctors. Thank you for your support.

Please be careful with this GP. They are very untrustworthy and neglectful. In particular Dr. Kumari. My sister has been trying to get an appointment for a week, once she finally received an appointment she was met with an argumentative doctor who REFUSED to listen to her. Looking at the reviews this isn't the first time Kumari has treated patients like this. All kumari had to do was request a blood form with iron and ferretin so that my sister is able to get tested for her low iron. However kumari was argumentative and refused. She managed to get an appointment with a nurse who was surprised that kumari did not help. A simple look into my sisters past medical history would show she has been anemic (which she was also not informed of). It would make sense to test for these things. This is what doctors are supposed to do. Help people. However the complete opposite seems to happen at this gp practice. It is concerning that Kumari is still allowed to practice without any disciplinary action for her horrible behaviour and arrogance. Is her pride really worth more than a patients health? It is concerning to think how many people she is treating this way and getting away with it. Luckily my sister has support but there are many people who are on their own and do not. Issa medical centre NEED to take this into account. They are playing with people's lives.

Had an appointment with Dr Nivedita Kumari. I had 6 issues I wanted to discuss.it was a telephone appointment and she called nearly 4 hours earlier than the appointment and did not apologise for calling earlier than the expected time. She did not resolve all 6 of my health concerns and i am back to square one. Very disappointed with this doctor and she was very rude throughout the call. Has left me feeling hopeless and stressed. I do not recommend this doctor possibly try another in future. Sorry for the 1 star but this Doctor should be gone.

Sadly the state of affairs is now serious. There are only ring on the day appointments whereby itโ€™s difficult to get through. Face to face impossible. New inexperienced staff giving wrong advice and conditions not being treated.

Absolutely terrible place. If I could give it a minus I would. Waited months for an app with the dermatologist. Arrived went in got asked same question, obviously not listening. The Dr didn't look at my skin didn't feel it or asked any relevant questions like how long have you had it where did it start is it anywhere else on your body. Just I don't know what ut is I will do a biopsy all of 6 mins to wait 2 months for a biopsy. Then however long for an app for results. I was very poorly with shingles and my gp said its long term shingles and the Dr I seen said there is no such thing. He didn't even look at that rash. Avoid this place if your refered I wish I had asked for another doctor.

I take appreciate this medical centre. I can book appointments later in the day (i.e. Street the 8am rush) and the GPs are very nice and understanding.
