What a fabulous find! There is a lovely garden centre run by people with a passion for it, not just commercial gain, with many plants you don’t see in mainstream garden centres, with prices that are very reasonable. We came away with about twenty that we hadn’t planned when we set out to find the place. There is also a nice little shop selling many Dorset goods as well as their own cider, made in the museum. Can’t recommend it enough.

A place with a difference, if you are bored with the average then this is a great find and we'll worth the visit, my children also found it interesting as they too love quirky museums/ places of interest. The nursery is wonderful, how nurseries use to be, about plants, love it 👍

Interesting place for a cider lover. Lucky on our visit as some apple were being pressed. Couple of nice touches- the fun facts and dressing up box. Enjoyed the clock museum. The three ladies who spoke to us very welcoming and friendly. The man who gave us the cider samples was a bit gruff and felt uncomfortable for wanting to try them. Good selection of ciders from the mill and local producers. Along with the cheese, preserves biscuits and fudge and some earrings etc a good choice for a few take homes. Overall worth a visit. Lots squeezed into a small space but well laid out and good explanation leaflet.

I worked along the road from here but never got the chance to visit ....well I missed out !! They have an amazing array of plants at very low prices and the staff are lovely. I didn't get to go in the museum but will do on my next visit.

An interesting place full of the past that still can be used for rent if you want to make your own cider or wine, plus clocks that would look great in your hallway, You can sample the cider before taking some home.

It was great seeing how cider was produced back in the day and still is produced using traditional methods. I also loved the clock museum, very informative, just a small negative, i wish to see the fridge magnet,or something bearing the museums name, just to say you have treaded these boards so to speak, well worth a visit, nice friendly staf as well, purchased a quite a bit from the shop .❤️
