Β£3.50 to park for just over 20 minutes is disgraceful. Appreciate a charge has to be made for parking but needs to be proportionate. Also turning elderly people away who do not have access to a computer to make an appointment for blood testing without offering assistance to help is unkind.

I had my first Birmingham hip operation at frimley but my second had to be at Heatherwood as my previous surgeon retired. So I didn’t know what to expect at Heatherwood, I can honestly say the staff are amazing it was like being around family. Most the staff had worked together for 25/35 years and they made my stay so enjoyable. A special thank you to ward 4 staff Pete, Jenny, John, Linda and Ivana. All the best for the future! Alex

Had to isolate for 3 days prior to my procedure after my covid test, then 3 days later my NHS COVID app pinged for a close contact on the day of the procedure, the only place i had been was the hospital, so it must have been one of the nurses or doctors who had tested positive, triggering the NHS app. All the other patients would have tested negative like myself.

The staff have treated me very kind and looked after me all the way at Treetops. I was taken into a side ward. Where all the certain people came out to see me, to discuss my procedure what was going to happen. There is a Cafe that you can go into. The Grounds at the hospital are very clean, as it is inside. Meals are excellent plenty of food to choose from on the menu. There is a local travel service provided by a train & bus that runs near by into the town centre. Over all a very nice hospital πŸ₯. Also i would like to thank the night πŸŒ™ nurse who got me a cuppa tea 🍡 & a sandwich because i was hungry. I can't thank all the nurses & doctors more than enough in what they done. Thanks again.

I wouldn’t give even 1 rating for this hospital. You can call and call and the phone just keeps ringing. You go through all the voice messages and press for the appropriate department but no one picks up. I have left 7 messages and not a call back from them. Tried calling Frinley Park and the operator managed to transfer to Heatherwood the same problem. The phone just kept ringing for 10 minutes and no one picked up.

Went to get an back x-ray today which was a referral from my doctor. Arrived & within 5 mins got told that I cannot have one due to government rules which has changed recently. Very disappointed as travelled while being uncomfortable & had to get lift & paid 5 pounds for a 5 min wasted trip, soo expensive!! Why were the doctors not informed πŸ˜’

Just had a knee replacement here. Loved everything about it. The staff are amazing, had my own room, felt like a private hospital and so quiet actually had a good night's sleep.

All of the staff I met on my visit were fantastic. From reception, to the medical staff in X-Ray and Trauma & Orthopaedics. I had a brilliant Naval chap deal with me. I've had great experiences with 'saying it as it is' military medics, and todays visit was thorough and informative as I'd expected. Top job. Hospital looks thoroughly modern now, and I'm particularly impressed by the segregated motorcycle parking with ground anchors. Well done!

I have just had a total knee replacement at Heatherwood Hospital, by an amazing surgeon, Mr. R. Kucheria. I cannot praise this hospital highly enough. Everyone that I met there was so friendly, helpful and professional. I especially appreciated the staff, Doctors, Anaesthetist, Care Assistants and Housekeeping who went the extra mile by taking the time to have a joke and a bit of banter with me, while remaining totally professional, as they could see that I was very anxious about having my operation. Mr. Kucheria, his entire team and HCA Nairoby Velasquez went out of their way to help me to relax and be less anxious during my stay in hospital and I really appreciated it. All of the staff are a real credit to the NHS and I certainly hope that my next operation is carried out there. Thank you.

Absolutely loved everything about this hospital. The staff were wonderful and made me feel at ease. The hospital was clean; I have a huge phobia of germs and using public toilets but this hospital was beyond exceptional. Thank you so much for the support, comfort and hospitality during and after my treatment. The staff made sure I was ok and took care of my needs. Forever grateful for the support given.

My father had an appointment today with Urology. After months of ongoing health problems I felt it was the first time that all our questions were answered. Everyone was so helpful and kind from the Volunteers to Receptionist, Nurses and Consultant. A very positive NHS experience.

I had day surgery yesterday to remove a small cancerous growth on my face . The hospital is amazing . the Dr that done the procedure was very nice kind & professional. Told me everything he was doing maybe to much information. The Nurse’s and other Dr helping him were just fabulous. The Sister on the ward was also just delightful. I’m just sorry I can’t remember them by name . Thank you

Just come home from NHS knee arthroscopy and have to say it was the most pleasant experience I have ever had at a hospital. From the surgeon to the staff who cared for me either side of the operation they were the nicest, most professional people and all set in a beautiful, clean and modern hospital.

This place and it's staff deserve 100 ⭐️. Being alone for an ultrasound to see my baby was so much better than I thought. I was seen by Anne that managed everything beautifully. She was ever so patient with me and comfort me as well as answered to all my questions (probably had 1000). I wish I could give birth here.

I have visited twice now for two similar procedures. I have been so impressed both times. The facilities are lovely and clean, there's ample parking too (ANPR pay machines), but the best thing is the staff. Every staff member I've interacted with his been so kind, reassuring, explains everything clearly and simply. I've felt so comfortable each time and leave with a reminder of how lucky we are to have the wonderful NHS. Thank you Heathwood Hospital!

This hospital is nearly brand new. No A&E. I've been twice,so far, and it's fabulous. Lovely staff and surrounding area. Only minor issues are the mobile phone signal is weak due to it being in a valley.

My father was in here recently, lovely staff & lots of volunteers too, coming to ask if he wanted a cuppa at all times. Nice large room, comfy chairs for visitors. Good menu , the food was actually nice when it arrived too. I feel they really looked after him, well done.

Almost brand new. Bright, airy and about as cheerful as a hospital can get. I was seen to by Physio right on time. I'll be back, because I have to be. Staff were very pleasant and the cafe was totally fine for a snack and coffee/tea. Plenty of parking.

hospital looks outstanding , but they had no coordination and planning at all. Management was terrible! The operation time is constantly changing and the patient without food , regardless of the patient's condition, the operation time was postponed. Sorry was not a good answer or enough when people are hungry and stress!!!

I had a shoulder replacement last week and stayed 2 nights on Ward 4. I am a registered nurse so have some understanding of what I should be able to expect. I cannot find enough praise to describe my stay. I am including all staff on the ward, in the theatre, medical and ancillary staff. Every single staff member was lovely and reassuring. The ward was safe and cleanliness was exceptional. The treatment and interactions were very effective and responsive. My care was totally person centred and all staff seemed to know what I needed before I did! Everything was done with a smile and at all times I felt safe and knew I was in safe and capable hands. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I found a great team spirit and a positive and high quality management style and ethos. The culture was unbeatable and I benefitted from how happy the staff were in their work. Thank you to everyone I came across, even if I was sedated at the time!

My husband has just had his second day surgery operation today at the hospital. The care and clinical excellence was faultless. We couldn't be more grateful to all the staff involved in his care. Thank you

Absolutely disappointed with the level of patient service this hospital provides. My wife had a prescription given to her and the hospital didn't even have the medicine. It has been over 2 weeks now and have had no contact whatsoever from the hospital about the medicine. I had to drive to the hospital (which is not close) and then got told they still do not have the medicine and they cant do anything until they receive the delivery but will call me with an update on that day. Still no contact and nobody answers the phone number they gave me for the outpatients department. Called the hospital directly and finally managed to get through after several attempts every day only then to get put on hold for 15 minutes until i lost patience. My wife is not well and needs the medicine which they prescribed but cannot offer. I find this baffling. At least offer an alternative.

Was in day surgery for ophthalmology earlier this week - reception was a little muddled but other than that everything was excellent. Thank you everyone. Must add that my partner used 2 different toilets while he was waiting for me and has commented that they were immaculate and fully serviced.

Had day surgery yesterday. Every single member of staff I encountered were so lovely and friendly, from pre op checks to discharge. The building is lovely, bright and clean. Special thanks to the lovely Flora (nurse), Rob and John (porters). Everyone else was lovely they are just the names I remember. I couldn’t have felt more looked after and cared for.
