We ordered carpet and vinyl. Told it would be 10 days. We had to chase after 4 weeks of no updates and we were told would be another 2 weeks. We complained as we had to pay for all the flooring up front to Tapi then didn't get what we wanted. Fitter comes but can't do the plywood for the vinyl floor. So had to book another day off work. Fitter comes to do ply but has to leave to do another job and doesn't come back till 5. They offered £39 compensation. Once Tapi get the money for the carpet they're not bothered about fitters or making sure job done. No chasing no after sale service. Very poor.

We went to this company to do our stair runner. Picked out a lovely carpet, good quality. The guy who came to do the measurements was nice enough, but he messed up. We were given lovely and expensive stair rods for a moving in present, and we mentioned this to him. As first time buyers, we were relying on his and the company’s expertise to know better and do the measurements according to the stair rods. But nothing of the sort was done. When the time for fitting came, the fitter said that he couldn’t fit the carpet with the stair rods, because the rods were too long and we had to cut them. He then continued with the job. Fast forward to 2 months later, and we‘ve been trying to fit the bars, but they just won’t work. They should’ve been fitted with the carpet. Oh and they still haven’t sent us a receipt of the transaction and were very unhelpful on the phone when we called to resolve this matter.

Excellent store, very knowledgeable, if you quality LVT, Carpet, vinyl or laminate don't go anywhere else, Lewis, Zak, Sam were a pleasure to deal with and Graham the home consultant knows his stuff !!!

Fantastic service from start to finish, Barry took our order at the Shirley branch and was really helpful. Then Mo and his colleague did a fantastic job fitting our flooring, extremely professional and very tidy. Outstanding job all ways round. I couldn’t recommend anyone else to supply and fit flooring they have been professional all throughout. Sam who assisted us with are purchase listened to all are requirements and budget and provide the best quality flooring to fit are needs, he was extremely professional and friendly and has helped all throughout the process couldn’t recommend him any more

Visited the store today for the first time to look for bathroom flooring. We were greeted by Laura who immediately asked if we required any help and if she could point us in the right direction. During our time in the store Laura was attentive, knowledgeable, extremely efficient and helpful. We visited 2 other stores today, both well known flooring suppliers, and we were astonished at the total lack of customer service. Laura was so professional and engaging, she ran rings around these other companies! She is an absolute credit to herself and Tapi, what a pleasure to be helped by someone so committed to her job. Tapi, we have never purchased from you before but we will be back, Laura just secured you 2 new, very impressed customers.

All smiles until you pay then it’s downhill from there. Spent nearly £6k on flooring and the after sales was zero they left me with kitchen panels taken off because they said it won’t go back in after the floor was fitted they took off a door and left it after fitting the carpet and in both cases they said it’s not there problem and I should just get a carpenter to fix the things they took off. Anyway I wouldn’t recommend these guys at all. Or if you do use them make sure you get down to smallest details about everything doors kitchen panels anything that’s on the floor or near a floor do not pay until you have sorted out who’s doing what. My mistake for going to these guys thinking they a reputable company but you live and learn. Hope no one has to go through what I went through with these guy.

Went into buy a carpet from tapi solihull sales staff were excellent and very knowledgeable, no pushy sales colleague very interested in my purchase.

Problem after problem I have a line on the bedroom carpet we’re the carpet was on the role the manager from Solihull came out said I will send the photo to the manufacturer still waiting spent 3k to be left with what I see is a big flaw they don’t tell you about that problem when you order very disappointing

Young and inexperienced. I went there to get a quote, but the young sales were very pushing, and he was not competent enough to read that I wasn't happy with his behaviour. So Tapi is ruled out from my renovation project list as a result.

They got it right...in the end. Barrie and Laura (hope I remembered her name right) got my two room job right after a bit of a mix up re measuring, and ply depth. fitter was lovely and efficient...floor quality superb. Happy with it.

The fitter did an excellent job and fitted my bathroom carpet expertly and with great professionalism. He was knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions which i had and took the old carpet away and left no mess behind when he left i would strongly recommend this company.

I didnt buy anything but guy in shop on Sunday afternoon was really friendly and helpful and didnt try pressure selling, i was just having a browse as not quite ready for new carpets yet, surprised that they also do a great range of inexpensive carpets as well as luxurious, will definately return to buy, great customer service!!

Had a fantastic experience in Tapi Carpets Solihull. Definitely using them again. Ask for Gabby! He was really helpful and honest. No pressure selling, just lots of useful information about the different types of carpet & how they or may not be suitable for what we wanted. The shop has loads of choice. When it came to the fitting the guys were great and communication from the shop was quality too.

Service Encounter Positive. We had a brochure through the letterbox ,just at the right time, as we were in a position to install new carpet to staircase, upstairs landing and 3 bedrooms. We were asked for a "refundable" deposit to book a site measure. Booked within 2/3days and the Technician arrived on time. He then took a small amount of time and whilst still there ,revised the measure required and revised cost. ( Which was less than expected) Remainder of monies given . Then asked if we were happy with everything submitted, and we booked an install within a couple of days. Which gave us time to clean down existing floors, but no furniture to relocate. Can't wait until tomorrow, but overall would recommend to anyone, as the service has been excellent. Attached a coupon valid till Jan 22nd ! Could make it cheaper for you to!

Used Tarpi for our lounge and hall about a year ago and now using them again for the stairs and bedrooms. Very nice staff, helpful, on time, good communication. Hence we are using again..
