Worst post office ever. Most of the staffs were just rushing to leave the work, their attitudes were ignoring and annoying. Last time I went there at 17:20, one lady was very kind and printed shipping label for me. Today it was only 17:10, they were already asking people to leave. They look angry when I told them I was expecting them to print the labels for me, and asked me to come back another time. But I don’t have a printer at home tho????? Their bad attitudes were consistent through the whole process and make me feel unwelcome. In fact I did nothing wrong as I arrive before they closed, I did what instructions said to either print the labels myself or do it at the post office. I feel so depressed after leaving the post office as I spent money on transportation to get here 20 mins before it closed, and I left here with nothing posted so I have to spend another £6 going to post office tmr!!!! This experience ruined my day and i have never felt the same when I went to other post office. I will never come back to this post office and no wonder why the rating is only 2/5 here, sigh. If nothing changes in the future, I believe no one will come back again, thanks to your professional attitudes.

This is a strong contender for the most useless and ineffecient post office ever to have existed. It's usually only manned by one person the self-service booths are even worse, and everyone I've seen use them need full time help from a member of staff. Do the world a favour and close down this monument to 1970s ineffecient England. During my last visit there was only one member of staff working and 11 people queueing, excluding those queueing to use the self check-outs. The member of staff that served me was very polite and friendly but only having one person working is insane, there were 2 other people inside the kiosk chatting but only 1 person actually serving customers. Today again only 1 person manning the counters and 15 people queuing.

Dreadful place. The worst example of British customer service. Worth checking it out for that reason alone. Join the long queue and watch how the counter staff (singular) patronises and bullies the customers, most of whom are foreign. I know it's a result of underfunding that the staff (singular) are harassed and angry, but it's an embarrassment. I left and went to a local sub-post office, where the staff are foreign, as well as the customers, and I got personal, helpful, smiling service.

Unexperienced and confused lady staff, waisted my time nearly 10 minutes today, poor knowledge and understanding to her job properly, asking an related and unnecessary questions overall, next to her other lady staff were shouting loudly and banging here front desk to draw attention of other peoples were waiting in queue line. Management must act and make changes soon in the best interest of all customers, if same issues and problems a cure again, then expect an official written complaint from me in future.👎🤏!!!!

0% customer friendly post office. I was having a very urgent delivery pick up from this place and I reached there at exactly 05:10pm(which is 20 minutes to closing time). The staff stopped me from getting in saying its the closing time. This is terrible. You should have change your time in google and your poster till 05:00pm then mate.

Only gets one star because there is no option for none. Never any staff on, always huge queues. Today there was one serving and the queue was out the door. My advice use either another post office or another service entirely. Abysmal.

Staff lied to me that BRP redirection service is suspended by home office . Home office then emailed this branch and got a reply that Redirection service is working fine. Lied to customers.

Kind staff but a ridiculous wait time. Everytime I come there are a max of three serving and it takes anything from 20 to 40 mins to get to the front of the queue. Please give them more staff.

Easily the worst Post Office I've ever used. Middle of a Saturday morning and not a single one of the 3 automated parcel machines is working. So I have to join a long queue and take up a space just to post a single letter. Rude staff and not enough of them. Just terrible.

Very cheeky staff (lucky for them I’m a changed person😇). Don’t take your anger out on me because you hate your job and are UNDER STAFFED , as a customer that’s not my problem and staff shouldn’t get cheeky with customers …either that or put the passcode to the self-checkout machine so I WOULD’NT NEEED your help . I would hate to cuss the staff here out next time , so hopefully they fix up next time .

Simply asked for two Passports forms the lady serving took one look at them as they were in touching distance, then took one look at me and told me to go to the back of the queue in a very unpleasant manner. Manners cost nothing...

Not enough staff, long queues, rediculous wait times. Never less than 15 minutes waiting to be seen. Poor level of service. Plenty of booths, but at least 5 always have no one on them to serve customers. Avoid unless desperate!

ABSOLUTELY NIGHTMARE! 40 minutes queue to hear that royal mail is not sending parcels overseas! Never ever again!

Grossly understaffed at all times. One, at best two staff serving 20+ people in the main post office for the city… the city has grown to accommodate masses of students and workers in the town and this post office is simply not capable of keeping up. Has 3 self serve machines - but you cannot complete your transaction without support from staff, who are unable to attend as dealing with a huge queue of people. That being said the staff here are great and super helpful, just massively overwhelmed at all times..

I came into the post office today the only one i knew was open on a Sunday & was served by a wonderful lady with glasses. It was so very hot. I needed a form that I needed help with. I was very flustered because of the heat & the lady could see that i was embarrassed. So she took it upon herself to help me & she went that extra mile and got me a glass of water & also offered me a seat. I was so grateful. This is why I had to leave a review as it's very rare to get such lovely customer service. Thankyou.

I felt so upset when the female staff answered my question. Her attitude was so rude even though I asked her politely. Please be polite and kind to your customer who is not professional in your fields.

The worst post office ever. Short staffed every single time I go there, all people constantly annoyed. I do NOT recommend going there. The worst thing is that It's been like this for ages and they're not doing anything about that.

Very rude staff, not customer friendly at all despite the customers being very polite ! There are many customers who use the services for the very first time, taking a few seconds more to understand the requirement wouldn't hurt anyone. In my opinion, it makes things a lot easier and pleasant for everyone.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have a massive amount patience in the face of never ending queues and unprepared customers. Well done guys keep up the good work.

A really convenient location and the staff are always really helpful and pleasent. My only complaint is it's always really busy and waiting half an hour + in a queue is normal. Very under staffed and should make use of the extra row of cashier counters that just sit there unattended regardless of how busy it is. The friendly staff save me from giving this a lower score.

Very busy and a very long wait. However, the staff are helpful and kind, and they offer an array of service. Conveniently located inside a WHSmith, albeit a bit hidden. Desperately in need of more staff to lessen waiting times, as it should not take 20+ minutes in line to buy a stamp

The worst post office in the UK. A shame. Your package could be stuck at the post office for a month without any updates or explanations.

Unless visiting early in the morning, queuing times seem to be fairly long, and for such a busy Post Office, there seems to be very few staff serving at any given time. Despite this, it's clear to see that they do their best to keep the queue moving as quickly as possible and all the staff are always very friendly and helpful. When the self-service machines are open it does help to decrease the waiting time, especially if you're just looking to purchase a couple of stamps.
