As hospitals hospital, this is one of the easiest to visit. Plenty of parking, although the car park is quite awkward to exit from because you need to insert a token to lift a barrier, and this is on a tight turn, so reaching through the car window is difficult. Inside the hospital the departments are well signposted, and there are volunteers who help. A pleasant environment, clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. You pay for parking when you leave at a machine by the main entrance. Cash or card.

Went into the breast clinic with a hard lump. Was given an ultrasound not a mammogram due to age. This is a terrible way to test for early signs of breast cancer, because of my age they thought I didn't need to get it checked correctly even though I have many cancers including bresst cancer (my mother) in my family. This is obviously due to budget cuts and being generally unheard even though the lump is very noticeable. I do suffer from high estrogen from endometriosis which causes me a slightly higher risk. I tried to discuss endometriosis and the impact on the breast tissue but no one seemed to understand what I meant and had to use Google. I understand they aren't specialists in endometriosis but surely it's something they should know as it has an impact on hormones and breast tissue

One of the better hospitals I have been to recently. Very polite staff and parking was surprisingly good. Also a cracking little bakery to.

Needed a CT scan. They rang me twice as I couldn't pick the phone first time. Lovely lady booked me in same day. The entire scan process took 15 minutes! Awesome nurses with a smile on the faces. The place looks fresh and very clean. New spaces and features add a nice welcoming touch. Big Thanks!

Really really slow to process our 10 month old who bumped his head in the radiator with a bruising and swelling of about 2 inches. There were no children nurses although this was the A&E department for children. Our nurse struggled for more than 10 minutes to get heart rate, temperature and breathing rate. She couldn't read a big table on the wall that explained the breathing patterns as per age. I had to take his temperature in the end as she seemed to haven't have seen a toddler before. It's just sad, that although it seems that his injury is not life threatening( we're still waiting here ) the processing was slow and felt really unprofessional. Like always NHS seems to employ anyone and really at the end of the day there is a handful of people there who actually care about your issue and don't treat you just like another pile of paperwork.

Great if you can access the free shuttle bus from royal Stoke to Stafford county, otherwise is a bit hard to reach

Excellent facility. Ample car parking with plenty of free spaces on all of my visits. The department that I visited was very busy but the staff were all friendly, polite and helpful at every stage of my appointment. My only disappointment - and I’m joking here - was that on the day of my visit (27th December, 2023) the café / bakery was closed! Thank you NHS.

Small friendly hospital have my scan photos done here and most things throughout the past 9 months , everything has seemed to go well not over extended waiting times or anything too crazy however on the few occasions we ended up here for A&E we were waiting for roughly 4 or so hours which seems average for this day and she however with the waiting room being practically empty didn’t quite know why we were waiting around.

At the A&E, the reception was nice and friendly. The nurse who attended to my wife at the Triage room was a bit rude, but was later told by the student nurse that the day has been really busy so she’s exhausted. We waited for nearly 3 hours just for a blood test.

Hard to be in this place when they refuse to believe you. I had to pay thousands to get a formal second opinion and the correct tests to be diagnosed.

Long wait to be told you can't have this procedure here , you have to go to royal Stoke. Went to royal Stoke. 8 hours later told needed procedure and go to doctors to get appointment, still waiting.

Easy accessibility and parking was easy to interpret as well. The huge bonus is Tina’s bakery at the entrance!

Hospital was clean. Maybe needed a more clearer exit signage for the one way system. Smoking shelter needs to be moved from entrance. As walking through clouds of smoke before appointments isn't great.

Doctors and nurses are great. Only 4star as long waiting times, but they were busy.

Staff are great, parking charges are high and the bakery serves all sorts of snacks that probably aren't too healthy for you.

I went for an Audiology appointment. The sign in machine wasn't working but the lady at the green desk booked my in ok. I only waited a few minutes and was called into the assessment room. They were very thorough, took lots of tests and did a mould for a new hearing aid which will be ready in a few weeks.

Cleanest friendliest out patient clinic I’ve ever been to. A&E is hectic and way too small for the area it covers but the staff are fantastic.
