What an amazing experience! We were visiting from Canada and booked online in advance. Kyle, our guide was so knowledgeable, funny and great fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him as we flew 3 beautiful owls. Our fee included touring the facility and seeing all the incredible birds at the site. They are so well taken care of, healthy and thriving. It was a true delight to spend the afternoon here. Thank you so much! ❤👍

We spotted Xtreme Falconry on the map while staying in the area and thought of spending an hour or two, but ended up staying for 5! We were pleasantly surprised by the sheer amount and variety of birds, all clearly well cared for. The family who run the place are lovely and passionate people. Martin and his daughters were in charge of the bird show, which was brilliant. I've never been able to get this close to birds like Kestrels, Eurasian Eagle Owls and Bald Eagles during a birds of prey display. It was great to learn about the birds, ask lots of questions and be treated to some unusual and hilarious anecdotes (will never forget about the vulture from Rotterdam). Of course, we also visited the little on-site tea room: service with a smile and nice selection of food, snacks and drinks. All in all a surprising and super successful day out. We'll be back! 🦉🦅

Fantastic place to visit. If you love birds, I highly recommend this bird center! Amazing amount of birds from owls to falcons and the staff really know their birds. Also you can see the twice daily bird flights at the centre! Keep up the good work guys! 5*

It's always bittersweet to see birds in captivity, but these birds are beautiful and well loved with regular exercise and freedom. The place is run by a lovely family who made us feel very welcome. The display was exceptional; very interactive and informative. The work that has been completed here to make it a safe haven for so much wildlife is inspiring, nature is well and truly embraced which is evident by the surveys that they complete on their land. A brilliant day out for all and we will definitely be returning.

This was a great treat for a birthday celebration. Kyle is very knowledgeable aboutcall the birds and his craft. He is informative and very entertaining. The birds all looked in great condition and and set up was much larger than it looked at first. He flew a barn owl with dark plumage, Ebony, a Harris's Hawk and Chilean Blue Eagle. Everyone there had at least two flights with each bird. Lots of explanation and fun. Good photo opportunities even on a dull day.

Hidden little wonder for anyone who is facilitated by bird. The fly show is wonderful and we get to see some just hatched baby owl as well! The kids were so happy!

We had the pleasure of visiting the Xtreme Falconry Centre in Dorchester, Dorset, on the 5th of October, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. My elderly mother and I both had a wonderful time viewing the magnificent birds of prey. One of the standout features of this centre is the incredible variety of birds of prey on display. From majestic eagles to agile falcons, there were so many different species to view and admire. Each bird was expertly cared for and showcased in a way that allowed us to appreciate their beauty. Overall, our visit to the Xtreme Falconry Centre was a delightful and educational experience, making it a must-visit attraction for anyone interested in the fascinating world of birds of prey.

What a brilliant experience. Had a fabulous time. Staff really friendly, helpful and very informative. Beautiful countryside setting. I was bought an Ultimate gift experience and it was amazing. Watched the first flying display at 11am then had my own personal experience at 12 noon. Flew four birds ranging in size and type, finishing with Winnie the Bald Eagle. Wow! Highly recommend and will be back! Thank you.

COVID and avian flu has made life hard for this falconry. But the staff are still resolutely committed to what they do. Well worth a visit and don't be afraid to ask questions of the keepers, they know their stuff.

Lovely place to visit, my husband and I had an experience trip there with Kyle he's a lovely guy, very informative, knowledgeable and excellent with the birds, we had an amazing time flying the birds. The park itself is peaceful and all the birds are well looked after. Cafe is also good with decently priced items. Will definitely be returning as we are local to the area.

We visited the UK in August and went to the Falconry. I had been exchanging emails with Tara regarding information and payment and she was extremely helpful and kind. We arrived early for a 9:30 VIP Falconry Session and were paired with Kyle. We were blown away by his knowledge of each and every bird and he was very friendly and patient. He truly loves those birds, it’s not just a job for him. The four of us were able to participate and interact with 4 different breeds of birds – an owl, 2 different falcons and an American Eagle. Each of the birds flew to our gloves, we fed them and they flew back to their perches to do it again. We each got 2 turns apiece with each bird. When the American Eagle came out – Tara’s daughter Connie came and provided information on the eagle – she is wise beyond her years. This experience was exhilarating, everyone was friendly and cheerful. If I lived closer, I’d go back and would recommend anyone to try it.

I went thinking it was just a little trip for my grandchildren and left feeling we'd all had one of the very best days out. It was quite amazing to be educated, wowed and experience flying some awesome birds of prey. The hosts are friendly, helpful and very informative. My grandchildren can't wait to visit again and learn some more from Kyle. Thank you all for a memorable day.

First time here and was amazing The talk the young girl did was amazing. She knew her stuff about the birds she brought out to show, especially the 4 month old owl that she raised

Great place to spend a day. We made the mistake of only going in the afternoon, and went to the late display at 3.30. As the earlier show is different to the late, and there's smaller displays going on in-between there's more than enough to keep you occupied. The two sisters doing one of the mini shows, was brilliant aswell, loved the banter between them. The Falconer was informative, passionate about his Birds and great at engaging with the audience. An amazing array of Birds, especially the Sea Eagle for us, incredible. Would recommend to anyone in Dorset, the place has a great family feel from the moment you walk in.

I took a group of 28 people here and everyone had a fantastic time. Martin the owner is a natural entertainer and educator. He is passionate about his work with birds of prey conservation and this shows in all his work. The flying displays are spectacular where you can get "up close and personal" with a wide variety of species. A gift shop too with everything apart from Tea towels !

I booked this wonderful morning out for my father's 80th Birthday. Via Groupon. Off peak. The centre was closed to the public. Very nice instructor's. Informative. Passionate. Fun for all. Fabulous birds of all kinds. Well cared for. We flew 3 different types of birds of prey. Magical. It's outdoor mainly. So dress for the weather. Great value for money. Parking. Disabled friendly. Toilets. I look forward to visiting again.

My Wife and I visited Xtreme Falconry (02/06/23) as an Experience for me, and my Wife paid on the day, to also take part. From start to finish, it was an amazing experience, the Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. At no point did we feel rushed, we were able to take in everything at our leisure. The knowledge of both Kyle and young Connie (13) was brilliant, and they answered every question. After the experience, we were able to view all the Birds and learnt a lot about them. The onsite cafe was a good way to round off a very pleasurable afternoon. Thank you to you all. We would thoroughly recommend a visit.

A wonderful bird of prey centre. My wife and I spent a very pleasant few hours there. The wide variety of birds are in immaculate condition, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful - all in a beautiful spot. Highly recommended plus they do conservation in a big way so a visit really helps them out. Completely family friendly and disabled access seemed good.

Great day out, staff are passionate, informative and engaging. Family run business who put bird welfare first We had only intended to go for half a day but stayed all day to watch the last flying session. You can watch practice sessions between the displays as well. You get really close to the birds. Went on a Friday & not very busy, luckily weather was good as well Cafe very reasonably priced Possibly not suitable for very young children

Fantastic day at Xtreme Falconry. My fiancée and I were there for a falconry experience session, but spent all day enjoying the wide and incredibly varied selection of birds, as well as two highly entertaining and informative displays from staff and then the owner himself. Their knowledge was outstanding, as was their showmanship. In general the presentation of the entire park was very high, and they are still developing. Many birds had highly informative displays about the species, paths were well directed, and there was good seating and spacing for viewing at the display. A suitable picnic area was provided, and the cafe looked very good although we brought our own lunch. The customer toilets were very clean and well maintained. There was also a small souvenir shop. The experience itself was fantastic, with a variety of birds flown to land on your glove. Despite being a reasonably large group, this was done so smoothly that everyone got multiple chances with each bird, and there was time for pictures to be snapped by your fellow experiencees or spectators you brought along. The experience took place in the main flying arena, so the other visitors could come and watch, but it was at a distance from them so you did not feel on full show! The knowledge of the team was outstanding once again, and the chance to ask questions was a highlight in itself. I asked one about using falconry to fish, and the staff member did not know, but went and found out and came and found us to tell us that it is used for such in some places, including Japan! All in all, a top place to visit which looks set to improve, fuelled by the passion of a committed family and their team. Support them, and their mission to help educate about, promote, and protect such wonderful creatures.

We had an amazing family experience at the centre. Kyle was incredibly knowledgeable, and the birds and him were interesting and varied. The birds were funny and cute, to majestic and a bit stubborn. A great experience well worth the money and the time. It was end of February, wrap up warm!

We found this place by chance, but were so glad when we did. Such a lovely atmosphere, the owners and everyone there was so friendly and knowledgable. Really enjoyable show and plenty of birds to see. Also really liked the “sustainability” aspect of it - plenty of measures in place to attract as much wildlife as possible (bar the magpies). At first we came a little hesitant, as you can never be sure about the treatment of the animals at “zoos”, but you can tell everyone involved really cares for the animals and they get involved in plenty of rescue and conservation work. Couldn’t recommend enough! There were some funny little birds.
