This is truly a hidden gem of the Central Coast tucked away in Norah Head. The staff are exceptional and the food , the food is a flavour bomb with every bite. This place is small with attention to customer service. They told us “we have limited number of tables but what we do , we do well” and couldn’t agree more ! Highly recommend booking a table through their website to enjoy this restaurant.

Almost quaint but for the melamine tables and plastic plants. Food is good but for a few items over cooked. Service is almost good but for the fact that two people are not enough to run front of house, drinks and service. The music was good and the team friendlyish. Probably a good place to frequent if you’re a local but not worth driving a longway to visit. The do have craft beer albeit a small selection.

The place, service, and the quality of the food all together makes the experience extraordinary. I was there along with my family last Sunday and I have nothing to say except thanks. A very delicious and perfect dishes also great staff and very friendly . Keep it up😊

My Wife and I dined at Johnny's on the weekend to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary as well as my Father's birthday. It was our first time dining here and most definitely wont be our last. We'd heard great things and it definitely lived up to the hype. The restaurant was pretty full however service still efficient and cheery. Food was dilicious as were the cocktails. The entire menu very well priced for such quality. Can't wait to return soon.

I would highly recommend Johnny Tapas! We booked for a group of 16 to celebrate my wife's birthday. Our group consisted of a few people who are allergic to certain types of foods. The staff were friendly, professional and made us all feel welcome. The food and cocktails were brilliant. We had a great time. Definitely be back :) Cheers

This place was a gem in a sleepy neighborhood. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with everything. The food to choose from was amazing, the staff were welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere was really interesting/lively. Would highly recommend to everyone staying within the central coast/lake Macquarie area.

Fabulous food we ordered a lot off the menu, everything was fresh, tasty and just in general awesome can’t wait to go back. The staff were fantastic nothing was a problem, The only thing I noticed this visit was the tortilla’s weren’t the best quite floury. The lamb was awesome. Brooke was our excellent server.

What a great experience we had last night for my brothers 30th!! Food was delicious, service was amazing and fast. Cocktails was so yum! So grateful for the staff (Liv and ?Beth) also tolerating and accommodating our cheeky toddlers !

Great cocktails, brilliant good and excellent staff. I cannot fault anything from my night at Johnny Tapas. The food is really to die for- probably amongst the best on the Central Coast. The staff was super friendly and welcoming- they even made us a special custom cocktail which was just brilliant! I have already booked my visit back to Johnny Tapas! Can’t wait to try more of their delicious food and cocktails!

This is truly a hidden local gem. Service was top notch. The cocktails lovingly crafted, strong and tasty. Every morsel of food was mouth-wateringly delicious. This is the perfect example of how to do restaurants right. I will be back many times!
