Keio University is famous for its medical and business schools. Now, I do not doubt their medical expertise, but to a newcomer to Japan or Keio, the hospital and the medical campus is extremely hard to navigate. I could never find the medical school office because there were no maps or signs. It wouldn't have made much difference as it was in the weekend so I wasn't there to meet anyone in particular, but I was quite puzzled because the other large universities I saw in Japan all had maps or signs that showed which building was which. The medical school campus is quite pretty though, and was worth the walk.

(Translated by Google) This is a patient who visited Building No. 3 on September 11th. The reception / accounting counter in Building 3 is on the 2nd floor. After the consultation, I paid at the checkout machine next to the counter, and when I visited the medicine counter, I was instructed to go to the medicine counter again without receiving any medicine. Then, a middle-aged woman named "Yuko Miyazawa" came out to the counter and said, "The one I paid earlier was last year. It seems that the doctor requested it later. So I went through the checkout machine again and paid for today. "Please," he said verbally, with no grounds and no offense. When I asked if this was possible, he said, "It's a common thing." On the other hand, I said, "(Although I have a history of going to the hospital rather than your work history) This is the first time for me? There is a possibility of double payment, if there is no proof that this is definitely unpaid, you are today I will not pay the money you say. " Furthermore, I was surprised to see that the responsibility was changed, "Can you ask me this at another window called 〇?", But it is an important medical expense, and I did not give up until Mr. Miyazawa showed evidence. ● Opinion 1 (Last year's story) It is unlikely that the doctor (female trainee) at that time inadvertently forgot to add it to the invoice after the patient completed the payment, and this will never happen again. I want you to ● Opinion 2 Mr. Miyazawa gave an oral explanation with a stern look. First of all, this should not happen, and even though I am only doing clerical work and accounting, isn't it an apology? I transferred my responsibility to another window and tried to make payment without showing any materials. I don't think it is a sincere response to patients, and I strongly request education. At the end, I was replaced by another staff member, and it was unpleasant to see my face all the time. ● Opinion 3 Remember that your wages are an important medical expense (national expense) It looks like "my job is office work and accounting", and you think so, think carefully about who you are billing. I didn't feel patient first at all. Also, don't forget that your wages are made up of that money. Please reflect on it. If you are doing office work mechanically, please retire. I hope you won't be on your next visit. I posted this so that patients who are considering going to your hospital will not feel unpleasant and will not waste time and money. Thank you.

The autoimmune symptoms appeared on my skin(Later, I found out that it was autoimmune.), but a male doctor diagnosed me as acne. I have had pimples since elementary school, but they were obviously different in shape from pimples. And the doctor ignored my words.

(Translated by Google) About Dr. Koji of Orthopedics and his secretary, Mr. S. Ki. First of all, the reservation was changed four times due to an emergency operation by Dr. Koji, and at the end it was changed without permission and I went to the hospital on the day and was informed of the change. When I got home without knowing why, I called the hospital again and had my secretary, Mr. Suki, connect me, and I just made excuses without apologizing. Even while I'm talking, it's an excuse to cover it. Excuse me, don't you have a word? When asked What should i do? Do you do it in Dogeza? I was told. I don't need to apologize for that attitude, and that guy's dogeza isn't worth anything, so if I decline it, is that okay? I try to hang up, so I would like to talk to Dr. Koji at the next medical examination, so I asked him to tell me this and hung up. After a while, I went to the hospital for a medical examination. I was wondering if Dr. Koji had any talk about the above, but I consulted as if nothing had happened. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I was told that I could bend more than before by touching my foot lightly, but it's a real mystery why I said that I started to bend because I hadn't touched my body last time. Seriously suitable. This hospital, doctors and secretaries are too dangerous! It's one of the best university hospitals in Japan, so I know it's a business, but it's still terrible. I wrote it pretty easily, but there are many more. Please be careful if you are considering this hospital.

(Translated by Google) I've been going to the hospital for about 5 years, but anyway, it's a bad hospital. There are many dirty and foul-mouthed teachers, and I can't think of a single good point. The place to wait for the doctor's appointment is dense, and you have to wait very long. Still no apology. I've been hospitalized, but the hospital food is bad, and the nurse's response is bad. Really not recommended. But Family Mart and Natural Lawson inside are very nice. If you're looking for Project Sekai wafers, they were at the Family Mart here yesterday, so please check them out. There are only bad places other than convenience stores, so please do your best if you are going to the hospital now. I don't quite understand. Keio University Hospital is a well known hospital BUT no one seems to speak even a very basic english. They all have japanese and english signs all over the hospital but no one knows how to speak it. I mean they don't have japanese only patients, but for me it feels like they only admit japanese because once you try to communicate with them, they mostly just say "no english" and then they leave you alone even if you have a serious health problem. I know expats should learn japanese but what about tourist or guests that only spends a week or two in japan? I come from Germany and we also have expats and foreigners there that hardly speaks any german BUT they don't get turned away by the hospital, because that is ILLEGAL and against the doctor's and healthcare workers OATH (do no harm!). WHAT IS WRONG JAPAN? you make A LOT of advertisement about OMOTENASHI and then you treat non japanese speakers as if they're not worth treating. And this is not the only hospital in Tokyo that do this. DO BETTER!!!

(Translated by Google) Isn't it bad to give a name? I think, but I feel really good, so let me write it. I was introduced to this hospital because I was caught in a gynecological illness during a medical examination. The medical examination started after the appointment time was too long, but immediately after opening the door, he said, "Nice to meet you, Mr. Tsuji, Dr. Tsuji. I'm sorry to have kept you waiting longer than the appointment time." Thank you. To be honest, I'm tired of the long waiting times in large hospitals because they happen everywhere. However, this one word makes me feel very different, and above all, I was surprised that the teacher introduced himself. When I opened the door, I heard other patients greet me in the same way, so it seems that they are kind to all the patients. I've had many times when I was a doctor who had an unpleasant attitude that I couldn't even use honorifics, and I had a solid impression of the doctor, but I was impressed by the fact that there are such doctors. I was so sick of my heart that I couldn't sleep for a long time, but I soon decided that I could leave it to this teacher. Because when you ask a question or anxiety, he will answer firmly. Is it natural? I think he was a teacher who could clearly see his sincere attitude. By the way, not only this teacher, but the receptionist, nurses, and pharmacists were all kind. It seemed that he had hit a nurse with good skills when he collected blood, and it ended immediately without any pain. Am I just lucky? I thought, but I will write what I felt without dramatization. It was the first time I felt good at the hospital. It is a hospital where you can feel relieved if there are women who go to the gynecology department. I would like to continue to take care of Professor Tsuji. Thank you very much.

(Translated by Google) The reception machine → the examination is smooth, but the waiting time until the examination is also within the permissible range compared to other hospitals. The accounting process after the examination is pre-modern and childish. The person who has completed the accounting process is called out loud, but since it is the same counter as the consultation reception desk, the voice there and the voice such as the in-hospital announcement are mixed, and the translation is incomprehensible. There are no waiting seats or places to sit, and everyone is waiting in the aisle to see when they will be called. Perhaps I am confused because I am doing accounting for each medical treatment subject, so it is better to return to the method of displaying on the electronic bulletin board at one place such as general reception as before. Payment is fine with an automatic payment machine.

(Translated by Google) It is a strange hospital where latecomers are given preferential treatment. I think that if you make a reservation at 10 o'clock, it is common to go to 9:55, but the person who made the reservation at 9 o'clock but was late and received it later than the person who accepted at 9:55. Is called first. It is kind to those who are late and strict to those who act early. It is painful for people who have no habit of being late to wait as soon as they go. Two of ★ are for the cleanliness of the facility. I attended four departments, but there are many staff with good humanity (including doctors and nurses), highly skilled staff, and vice versa. There is a hit. I don't know how many times I cried for the response. Especially around the reception is delicate. (Translated by Google) The facilities are excellent. There are also well-known doctors. It's been ten years since I was born and had a medical examination. I was following up. The doctor in charge was changed and it was said that surgery was required from the middle. I can't live when I reach a certain age. However, follow-up is required at another hospital that was transported by emergency due to trauma. I also went to two other university hospitals, but follow-up is required. I went to various hospitals from municipal hospitals to private general hospitals. It's been fifteen years since the age of the devil told by Keio's doctor. I'm living well without any particular change. I wonder what that means. The graduate hospital is an educational institution. I think I want to open as many bodies as possible. I have been hospitalized in different hospitals four times due to illness and accidents, but the most beautiful rooms and bed beauty products kept my privacy. The corridors were wide and clean, and the food was much better than in the hospitals I had been hospitalized. The teachers and nurses at ICU and HCU were of a high level and everyone was young, beautiful and kind. Instead, the receptionist in the general ward and the nurses were busy, so the correspondence was very rough and there was a difference. I'm tired of waiting for half a day to check if I forgot to make a shower reservation or if I would like to take it. It can't be helped because it's an emergency, but at other hospitals, even if it's a university hospital, the doctor in charge and the surgeon knew well and came to the examination many times, but here every time a different trainee came to see it and the last Until then, I didn't know who was the surgeon and who was the doctor in charge. .. .. If you are ill, you may not like it. But overall, were you lucky to be brought here? Thank you for your help. I have the impression that it is always overflowing with patients who come and go with their physical strength. Although there are various circumstances, I think there should be a slightly better layout. Also, I think that frequent inspections should be available in both buildings, even if it costs a little. The urologist is cheerful and gives a fairly detailed explanation. The gynecologist is also kind and always kindly listens to me every time I go. Compared to other university hospitals, I think the teachers' response and explanations were the best. Waiting time is not so long now. Perhaps the teacher in charge adjusts and receives the patient. And recently, a service that informs you of the order of examinations on the line has started, which is convenient. Excellent doctors and staff. I've had two surgeries at this hospital and both have gone very well. I recommend this hospital but if I understand their processes correctly, one needs a referral to go there. They are centrally located, and are right in front of the Shinanomachi station. There's another station close by on the Oedo Line. They have new facilities and parking. They also have motorcycle parking. This is one of the best hospitals in Tokyo in my opinion, but English is not spoken here. If you have a need for a special surgery involving a doctor from another hospital, then you may experience difficulty in having that arranged. I had to forego surgery on my heart there because they did not have a doctor on staff to do what I needed done immediately after the heart surgery. It was breast bone surgery. I had to have the heart surgery and the breast bone work done elsewhere, but the surgeries needed to be done back-to-back. Keio could not do it, which I believe is rare for them. I wish they could have facilitated it. It's a great hospital otherwise.

I remember being very depressed about the reality of cancer at this age. At the hospital I visited with a letter of referral, it was decided that conical surgery would be performed immediately. However, from a scary feeling, I was hurt by the doctor's heartless words, and after investigating myself, I arrived at Professor Aoki of Keio University. For me who was frightened by this illness, these teachers, including Dr. Aoki, treated me very kindly. He was very anxious and gave me a solid explanation in an easy-to-understand manner, so I was able to ask for an inspection with great peace of mind. As he is said to be a well-known doctor, it always takes a long time to see Dr. Aoki, but if you are worried about a female illness, you may want to visit. Aoki-sensei, gynecological teachers. I am always grateful for your help.

Great doctors. Outpatient leads are well thought. They are renewing their ward.

Had the worst experience here when I fell rockclimbing and sprained my elbow and tried to go to A&E here for an assessment and treatment last month. They closed the shutters on me when I didn’t have a mask instead of first giving me a mask. It’s understandable to some extent because COVID precautions. But then the manager (instead of any personnel) was conversing with me the whole time, insisting they don’t speak English, refusing to assess and treat me because I’m a foreigner, even though I told them I have travel insurance, and wasting 30 minutes talking to me via my Google translate app because they were so reluctant to engage. No medical personnel was even engaged. Is this even a hospital? I was injured, clearly showed them I could not move my elbow and they refused to evaluate me. It was so disappointing because this is my only experience with a Japanese hospital so far.

I went there because my period haven’t stopped in six months. I went there for a biopsy which made the bleeding increase for more than days, accompanied with terrible cramps. I returned urgently there and was treated really poorly by the interns who told me “they couldn’t do anything”that my cramps had probably nothing to do with my uterus ( but i had told them it was the same pain as period pain), and that i should just get painkillers. I really wonder in what world someone can say that is normal to have periods for six months, and bleed for more than ten days after a biopsy. I am deeply disappointed in this lack of professionalism and compassion.

Dentistry + Oral department The doctor was super kind and was very sweet. She seperatly printed out english documents (self-translated) for me. Overal experience was great + my surgery was very smooth (wisdom teeth removal) I think the price is cheaper than other smaller uni hospitals. And yes you have to walk around like A LOT
