Delicious food, perfect service and super cool place for a dinner. My only complaint was that the music in the bar was too loud.

Not sure why they label this as Indian food, nothing was Indian about it. We ordered chicken karahi, seekh kebabs, parathas and a slice of peanut butter chocolate cake. Chicken karahi was awful, though it appeared well spiced, it was not. It Sat in a pool of oil and the only flavor was a VERY STRONG ginger taste. One bite was enough for us. The parathas are ridiculously doughy. They are thicker than naan and resemble pizza dough! Unsure if they weren’t fully cooked or if they just make them this way. Seekh kebabs again lacked flavor. Very strong stench of lamb that was unappealing. The bite we each took had to be spat out. The cake slice was stale and had a bad smell. It was a melted gloopy mess when it arrived. We had to throw the food out and cut our losses. A waste of £30 and won’t be ordering from here again.

Nice tasty food. But highly britainized version as in mild spices, very soft naan bread, mango lassi They sell it by the name of Kunna gosht It is not… but whatever it is … the lamb curry; it was tasty though Nice decor Noisy Very busy Hospitable staff A bit pricy but value for money

Restaurant @aagrahleeds Ambiance: 09/10 Service: 03/10 ( whatever we had ordered was delayed for 45mins to 1hr although they have compensated us by giving a free drink ) Food : 08/10 ( very less salt in Chicken Makhni which made it bland in taste) rest everything was good Ordered : Chicken Tikka, Aloo tikki, chicken makhni , Garlic nan , Paratha, Lahori chole and Bhindi. We got complimentary poppadum and a drink.

Food was fine but nothing special. When I went to pay using Meerkat meals app I was challenged in a passive aggressive manner before having the discount applied. My advice would be if you don’t want to honour discounts, don’t offer them. Last time we used this app here we were overcharged for drinks which we didn’t realise until after we had left. Giving the impression that you are primarily interested in rinsing your customers for every penny you can squeeze out of them isn’t a good look in the hospitality industry. Won’t be back with or without a discount.

The ambience of the place is good but the food was below average in taste. The veg curry we ordered was so disappointing that we didn't bother order anything more. If first impressions are a thing, I doubt I'll be visiting it again and definitely won't recommend this place to anyone looking for Indian flavors.

Went in to Aagrah leeds for a team lunch and oh man the food was amazingly delicious we loved the ambiance and staff friendliness had an amazing night out in leeds town after a long time

We visited Aagrah Leeds after reading the Timeout review of the place. The interior looked nice with the bar and restaurant separated out. The staff were very nice but looked pretty busy to be attentive. The letdown was food. Had high expectations for the food but it was mediocre at best and didn't do any justice for Asian cuisine at all. The food was mushy, oily and didn't hit the mark. Prices were reasonable but the overall rating is below par down to the food. Very disappointed!

Good location, tasty food and friendly staff.

Ordered a takeaway from Deliveroo. Onion bhajis were a surprise as they were ring shaped, like a donut - delicious though! We also had the poppadoms and pickle tray in which the sauces were tasty. Shared 3 different curries with a plain and a peshwari nan. Everything was excellent. I look forward to going to the actual restaurant when Boris ungrounds us!!!

Visited this popular Indian restaurant recently on a night out in east Leeds. Booked early as it was just before Christmas so the whole of the city was very busy. The restaurant was excellent and very full but the service and the meal was really very good. Really glad we went back.

I personally have enjoyed the Aagrah cuisine from concept when the first restaurant opened in Shipley. Over the years I have dined in most of Aagrah’s from Skipton to Shipley, Garforth, A64 etc etc. and NEVER had a bad meal in almost 4 decades. By far the best Indian food I’ve EVER eaten and I’ve tried lots. Simply can not be beaten by any other Indian restaurant on food quality, taste and service, quite simply this is the best.

Such a lovely restaurant right in the heart of the cultural quarter in Leeds so it's ideal for the Leeds Playhouse, the BBC, and the Leeds College Quarry Bank campus. The service was excellent with friendly and efficient waiting staff. Surprisingly it was very busy for a Thursday evening but there was a pleasant atmosphere. Just a pointer though - if you like the famous Indian/Pakistani dessert Gulab Jaman you'll find it quite hidden away on the back of the dessert menu. All of the food was so tasty, flavoursome and beautifully presented. Definitely a 5 out of 5 restaurant.

I was tempted by amitabh bachan's picture at entrance. I ordered chicken karahi, lamb chops. Chops were not tender. Chicken karhai was good. They gave me a place on which a fly would come over and over. I had to remind about my order 2- 3 times.

I came to dine here with 2 friends without really knowing what to expect. We planned a trip to Leeds from London but didn't really look into where to eat, but we found this while taking a stroll and thought to give it a try, and much to our surprise, it was worth every penny. The food was very tasty and filling, high quality and presented magnificently, and it was also very affordable! All the staff was very kind and caring, always looking out for us. At the end of the meal we were also given a very nice wet wipe and a sweet treat, which was an unexpected, but nice surprise. Would definitely recommend dining here if you are visiting Leeds or even if you just live and haven't tried it yet.

Excellent food. Great decor. My mother loved the food from here. Excellently spiced and the kebabs were grilled as I had requested. The portion size was quite large.

Lovely warm welcome by staff considering social distancing and they did their jobs quite well even though the restaurant was busy. Sanitizers were there to prevent the disease. Food was amazing and atmosphere was great too. The menu was easily accessed via QR code. I'd definitely recommend someone to must visit this place once :)

This restaurant is ideally placed for a pre-theatre meal. It offers a good range of Indian dishes. The portions are generous and the quality is good. Service is quick, but they do not make you feel rushed.

First impressions, Class with great atmosphere! Food, absolutely delicious and good portions in all the dishes we ordered for starters, mains and desserts. You must also try the cocktails. We did and enjoyed them. The staff was very friendly, smarty dressed and turned out, always wear a smile when their eyes meet yours and ever so helpful with any questions you may have on the menu which has a very wide selection. You'll be spoilt for choice. 10/10 Highly recommended. Thank you!

Absolutely jam packed on a Sunday night when most other places are dead, and with good reason. The food was excellent as was the service and settings. Really excellent buffet and I'll certainly be back again.

Here just now , subtle peaceful atmosphere . Staff have got it bang on between being attentive but giving you peace. I had the buffet which was decent with good starters , currys has a zing to them which was good and some basic but nice desserts to cool my tongue down . Food decent , staff excellent and good price points. Would come again but would try Al a cart next time.

The service, food and atmosphere was beyond amazing The staff were very friendly, the food was fantastic. We had the buffet and I was very impressed. We were there to celebrate my partners birthday and without being asked, they gave her an ice cream dessert with a sparkling little fire work in it and 4 of them sung happy birthday. I cannot recommend this enough. The staff made me and my partner very happy You need to dine ther and soon!

We had a table booked for 8pm thinking that with the restaurant needing to close at 10pm for lockdown, 2h would be a very relaxed way to eat a meal and enjoy a Cobra or two. Instead, despite arriving on time we were not shown to our table until 8.35 and therefore didn't order our food until 8.45. This left 1h15 mins for the staff to prepare our food and us to eat it - okay. Our starters arrived in reasonable time but unfortunately a member of staff stood behind the table the entire time. This wouldn't have been so bad had they have been waiting so that they could immediately bring out the mains - but we instead had a long wait between the two courses. Another member of staff brought the bill whilst we were eating and we were prompted to pay at 9.50 without anybody offering to box up half of my meal. I asked for my food to be boxed and as I've just arrived home to realise, the lid was not correctly sealed. Of what I ate, the food tasted good but as for everything else... There is a lot to be improved. In terms of COVID measures, I would like to see staff enquiring if you have used the track and trace barcode or hand sanitizer available. As we were told our table was not available, we were not directed along the one way system and the member of staff who showed us to our table did not allow for correct social distancing. A lot of the staff were wearing gloves however there was no evidence that the gloves were regularly changed as some had holes in! 1/5

Me and my boyfriend went for dinner the evening before the November lockdown. We had a curry each, rice to share with Naan and a Sag Allo. The food was incredible and the customer service was even better. All the waiters and waitresses were so friendly, welcoming and chipper. Highly recommend!

Attracted to the Midpoint by the eat out to help out offer extended in October. Very unpleasant experience after todays visit. Very poor social distancing, despite space and tables available. Quality of buffet food poor, especially shish kebabs. Overall size of main courses and dessert offered very disappointing. First time no tip left...

I have tried Aagrah leeds and following is my rating: Ambience: 10/10 Staff: 10/10 Family naan was 10/10 Nihari was 9/10 Sea bass was 9/10 Chicken tikka 7/10 Pasandy was 6/10 Overall very good especially nihari was amazing i tried nihari of Nawab which was the worst and then tried mumtaaz leeds and aagrah leeds nihari and both are best but i like aagrah's nihari more. One should try this restaurant.

i usually love the food from the restaurant however this was my first time ordering out and i myst say the food wasn't upto par.. i ordered paratha.. and athick roti was sent... i make parathas often for my family.. when i told the restaurant they acted like i didn't know what i was talking about. wont order again but will still visit restaurant

Went here with work for the buffet, was given a different price when booking to what it was on the day, was told it was an extended menu for Xmas although the buffet options were very limit, bland and alot smaller than the other branches I visit so was rather disappointed. However, they did make up to it with fast friendly service!
