Fantastic, true value for money hotel. Lovely amenities, friendly staff who were so efficient and motivated. Went to a wedding here and stayed the night. The wedding was wonderful and the meal a delicious Yorkshire treat. Never had such tender roast beef and the Yorkshire puddings were huge fluffy clouds, crispy on the outside. Had a wonderful nights sleep in a king bed and a really good breakfast included. Can't fault it and highly recommend

We Visited The Restaraunt To Have a meal with family stopping from the North East. The very helpful gentlemen who served us explained everything to my mum as she is gluten free. The food was outstanding well recommended. We also had breakfast the next morning and we can't fault the food. Superb breakfast for the money. Great hotel staff and food.

We went here for our Christmas Dinner with some of the people from our street. lts not my first time here I've been here a couple of times before, but that was to funerals It wasa decorated out lovely and the table were set out nice, so we could all see each other, the staff were very nice and helpful, they were all very pleasant and friendly. The food was lovely, very tasty, and hot as it was busy they did well to keep it all warm and the dessert was gorgeous. I'm disabled and it was very accessible and the toilets were too. We didn't stay there, so I can't coment on the hotel. All in all we had a lovely time.

We held our annual lunch here and wow what an event we had. Seated for lunch we had 45 guests and every single person not only received a beautiful 3 course meal but received absolutely impeccable service. We will definitely be back

Absolutely love this place, made to feel so welcome every time we visit!! We always have a family room which is a brilliant size and perfect for what we need. We’ve eaten in the restaurant every time we’ve been and it’s very well priced but honestly the best thing about this hotel is the staff, i’ve never met such a friendly group of people! I honestly couldn’t recommend a better place to stay in Leeds!! MOT

Stayed here so many times over the years I've lost count. However, recently the hotel has slipped a little in its standards, the rooms certainly need some real attention...especially on cleanliness. The staff are amazing....they are friendly and helpful, the 24hr reception is good, always someone on call and the food......Well, the food is excellent and again the waiting staff are excellent at their job. Just update the rooms and it will be a fantastic place to stay again. Unable to add pictures.

This lovely hotel hosted our wedding on 6/5/23 and we and our guests were treated like royalty (well, it was the Coronation day too)!! From initially viewing the hotel the year before, we knew straight away that this was the venue for us to hold our reception. Carol and Heidi are the wedding planners and both of them answered any queries we had with patience and expert knowledge. Helpful but without being pushy or intrusive, their service is all part of the wedding package that you book. Guests can book their overnight stay at the hotel at a 10% discount if booked direct. The rooms are having a complete renovation but nothing disrupted our stay. We chose the Cornmill Suite for our reception, which was perfect. Carol and Jamie set up the room for our meal perfectly, the attention to detail was exceptional. We were consulted as to our preferences for sash colours etc., again all part of the package you book. We were kept informed all through the day as to what was going to happen by Carol and Jamie guiding us. The wedding food was delicious, everyone complimented on how good it was, including the evening buffet. I heard someone say it was the best meat feast pizza they'd ever had! Well done chef, kitchen and waiting staff! Evening entertainment was hosted by their resident DJ lan and he played the genre of music we asked for (being oldies it was '70's, '80's, '90's!!!) Plenty of lights and the music wasn't so loud that you couldn't hear yourself talk in the rest of the room. EVERYONE said it was a fantastic wedding and I can only thank you all at the Cornmill for making our day so special. Thank you everyone. Take tissues for Tracy on reception, she will cry when she sees the bride!

Me and my husband had our wedding venue here on Saturday. They was fantastic. Carol one of the wedding planners went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. Receptionist was really friendly. The waiters did a fantastic job. We can't thank everyone enough for making our wedding day/night perfect

Been quite a few weeks since we've been here for a meal. Visited on saturday night. The food was what we usually ordered but however, everything tasted so much better. It was good before, but now it's excellent. Steak was perfect, pepper sauce had a new zing to it, roast potatoes were brown and crispy, presentation had improved, veg was no longer on the hard side. I suspect a new chef was responsible -- and we certainly noticed.

Positives. It was busy but service was speedy. My Steak Pie was jam packed with huge chunks of beef, and tasty gravy. Negatives. Unfortunately for some of my fellow diners they chose the English Breakfast, which was not so great, as was evidenced by what was left on their plates.

We only went for a meal, and didn't use the rooms. And as usual, couldn't be faulted. The venue itself is spotless and very well appointed. The food was it's usual mouth watering great standard. And of course the members of staff, were their usual friendly, courteous and efficient selves. It is a very well run venue, and if you get a chance to go, don't pass it up, you will be more than happy you went !!!

This is a gem of a find! Such a lovely hotel and wonderful staff (shout out to Carol, Tracy & Wayne!), friendly and always helpful. For our short stay in freezing temperatures (to help our daughter decorate her new house), this was a perfect place to come back to, warm, really comfortable and convenient (ample parking). Breakfast was lovely (thank you Wayne!), and the staff so accommodating. I would absolutely recommend this hotel, and we will certainly use them again!. Jacqueline McIntosh

The hotel is comfortable & clean, the food is good, the staff are wonderful. It is not luxury, which we prefer it means you can totally relax. Definitely would use again. If you are there on a Sunday & can get a table, we very much recommend the Sunday lunchtime carvery.

If I could give 10 stars I would've. Don't know what's happening with their website but it in no way reflects this smart and modern hotel. We stayed for a wedding because the reception was also being held there. The staff were so personable and kind, the king size room was spacious. Although the bathroom hadn't yet been refurbished as the room had, it was clean, with a good shower over a bath. The wedding reception was well managed and smoothly operated and the traditional roast beef dinner was perfectly cooked with tender, slow roast beef and huge puffed up Yorkshire puddings. The breakfast buffet was also very good. There is a lovely outdoor seating area to enjoy a drink in the sun. The best thing was the friendly and efficient staff who all seemed to have worked there for years and looked happy in their jobs. The b&b rate was very reasonable and I think they could charge a bit more. My experience of the Corn Mill Lodge Hotel was 10 times better than our previous stay in a hotel that charged 10 times as much.

This was our venue for our wedding yesterday. We were absolutely blown away by the staff....the beautiful room...the wedding set up...the attention to detail. It was absolutely perfect. Carole the organiser was just amazing and didn't miss anything. She was just the perfect person to be on hand too. Have to mention Jamie....what a guy. It was possibly the hottest day of the year and we were all struggling but he kept us all going right to the end. Amazing person. The food was just beautiful so hats off to the chefs and the bar staff who served endless drinks to us. Over all we were so impressed with everything and I would highly recommend this venue to anybody. Thank you

We've stayed at the corn mill several times now and find it great value for money the staff are very helpful and friendly and the rooms are of a high standard. We upgraded and it was well worth the extra £16 . The staff in reception are so welcoming and friendly .

Stayed here overnight on Saturday. The room, whilst a little dark, was spotlessly clean and our twin beds were both comfortable. Facilities were good and room was a comfortable temperature. Breakfast was self service and whilst fried eggs were not an option there were scrambled available. The food was delicious and was constantly being 'topped up' so there was no shortage of food, plenty of cereals to choose from and fruit juices. A good selection of jams and marmalades and delicious croissants were available too. This is not a high end hotel, more middle of the road, but we will definitely come back, the lady behind the reception was very friendly, our room spotless and the breakfast fantastic. Would definitely recommend and great value for money

Visited for Sunday lunch. Great carvery lunch with lots of choice of meat and vegetables cooked just as I like them but the highlight was when we were leaving. I use a mobility scooter and it was pouring down with rain at the time. A lovely lady from Reception insisted on shielding me with an umbrella all the way back to the car and ensuring I was covered whilst I dismounted the scooter and got back into the car. Very much appreciated. Thank you

Clean rooms and 24hr reception which is great so you don't need to take key out with you. Little way from city centre, taxi around £10-12 depending on time. Or train station 20 mins walk and £3.50 return into city. Excellent help yourself breakfast with cereal toast and full English available. Would definitely stay again.

Our first family Christmas lunch in two years. We all had the carvery and no one could manage a desert!. Everything about this restaurant is 5/5. Food is hot, tasty and plentiful. Staff are warm, attentive and friendly, but not " in your face". Spotlessly clean and covid aware. You've never been here.....WHY?. It's the best carvery around. Thank you to Jamie and all the staff, merry Christmas 🌲

Had to leave Cornwall early as we were struggling to get fuel. Ended up at the Cornmill for the last 4 days. Great place to end up. Good food. Fantastic staff. Glad we ended up here. And fuel just over the road no problem. Thank you rescued our holiday.

Disabled parking up beside the door. Lifts to all floors. They also have dedicated Disabled rooms but the rooms have wide door ways. Staff were brilliant friendly and couldn't do enough to help nothing was to much trouble. Food was great good portion size and nice and hot. Waiter/waitresses friendly and yet again couldn't do enough to make our stay a memorable one. Decor is a bit tired and could do with a freshen up. So the company are letting the staff down on that front. But we will definitely be back. Thanks again for a memorable trip

This was the most dog-friendly (and human-friendly) hotel we have ever stayed at in Leeds. This was made especially the case by the excellent & outstanding customer care provided by Tracey. Thanks for making our stay so comfortable.

Absolutely fantastic. One of the very best Sunday lunches I have ever had. No more Toby carveries with their fatty meat for me. The meat here melted in your mouth. The veg was all fresh and beautifully cooked. The portion sizes were superb. The staff were brilliant. Attentive and helpful. A real asset to the place. I just cannot say enough good things about here. I will definitely be back. Thank you for making my birthday meal so lovely.

I was worried about staying here because it looked like it was an 80s style hotel but, I really enjoyed the stay. The room was clean and smelled great. I never heard any other guests while in my room. With the window open, there is quite a bit if road noise but if it's closed you don't really hear anything. The staff was so so so friendly and I enjoyed the interactions with them. One even offered to drop off my post cards for me. I definitely suggest staying here if you're in town. I think you'd enjoy it.

An enjoyable stay. The room we were given had a leaking shower when turned on. It showered well, but the head was leaking badly where you can adjust the spray and the floor would flood the floor. I did manage to remedy it. But, otherwise, it was a nice room, comfy bed. Good caring receptionists where they gave us anothe pillow. There were 2 weddings over the weekend and from what I could tell it's a nice place to have one. Everyone seemed happy. All in all, an enjoyable weekend and worth the stay and for anyone else whose thinking of staying and of course, close to the hills. We'll also had a trip to the Industrial museum. We'll worth the visit.

We traveled with Just Go to Leeds and found Corn Mill very acceptable. Some bus holiday hotels are somewhat run down and far away from any other places that might be of interest but Corn Mill was up to date, and not shabby. We had a ground floor room and the only downside to that was that it was rather dark and in the evening the light was inadequate for reading. The food was as good and as much as we needed, more so on some evenings, the staff in the restaurant were speedy and helpful, and the ladies who were at the reception desk were able to help when help was needed. All in all a decent place to stay, probably the best hotel we have visited withJust Go.

The hotel looked lovely and I only gave it a two star due to my circumstances and false advertising. I went and enquired about a stay with my dog and the lady who helped was very nice but I think that the hotel should not be classed as dog friendly. I was told they have a select few rooms on ground floor for you to to stay but your dog is not allowed anywhere else in the hotel - the bar is also out of bounds so I think this should be made aware in the profile of this hotel . You can stay with a dog but not leave the room.

Good place to stay. Reception staff and breakfast team fantastic, so friendly. Only reduced by 1 star as bathroom has a faint smell of damp. But rooms are clean and have everything you need.

We hired the function room for my mums 60th birthday The room was perfect the food was too it had a little bar which was well stocked and reasonably priced. There was ample free parking available and was able to leave my car overnight. Just let the hotel reception know your registration number. Hotel attached for the convenience of our guests who had to travel and they reported a pleasant stay. Recommended for a special event. We had about 80 guests and the room could have taken a fair few more. Nice friendly staff and a great night.

Had to go to a funeral. Booked online. Hotel was good for a short stay . Arrived Sunday evening after a long drive from London. Hotel is on the Leeds ring road and needs some better signage. Chap on reception was very exceptionally helpful, he opened the bar for us so we could watch the England game and got us some pizzas. Large buffet help yourself breakfast in the morning and plenty of car parking.
