Honestly would give 0 stars if I could!! Without a doubt the WORST place I have ever stayed. This dump was the accommodation that was included in a Caledonian travel tour. The first room we were given was absolutely filthy. Clumps of black hair in the plughole, the carpets were covered in stains, crumbs everywhere, including THE BED, mould on the carpets and ceilings, the curtains were ingrained with dirt. immediately went back to reception and told the guy we could not stay in the room. He didn't really seem to care but apologised and gave us another key to room 212. This room was no better than the last. I tried several other hotels, but unfortunately were all fully booked. I didn't dare sleep under the duvet but slept on top with my own towel covering me. The dinner which was included was a set menu of soup that was so sour you couldn't eat, then chicken or tomato pasta which was tasteless. Spoke to the general manager on duty who could only offer us a complimentary drink. I could go on but bottom line is Caledonian travel should be ashamed selling this type of accommodation to people. I strongly suggest the environmental health give this place a visit. The place should be shut down.

The reception is clean and tidy but once you enter the very noisy lift everything goes down hill. The restaurant was closed due to a private event but after seeing the state of the room i wouldnt of ate there anyway. The hallways and bedroom smelt strange like a musty smell. The bedroom was filthy and not kept at all. The floors where disgusting stains absolutely everywhere and you could see the clear difference in how the carpet once looked and now looks. Paint on the walls is chipping off, there was questionable stains up the walls. The curtains have been eaten by moths. The bedding wasn't even on the bed properly we had to make it ourselves they've put a sheet on the wrong way and then it didn't end up fitting. We was given a room over looking the gardens but you could hear the noise from the motorway quiet loudly. The bed was uncomfortable the whole place is completely run down! I've looked and many reviews are saying the same thing, the hotel respond with "we will pass this information on" the place needs closing and renovation work doing with immediate affect, I wonder if the owners/staff live like this at home to warrant why they'd think its acceptable for paying customers to stay in such a mess.

Stayed for two nights with my dog ground floor room heating wasnโ€™t working had been lefted a small heater in room to warm room not much use really. I actually found more heat by using the hair dryer to heat the room crazy I know but it worked . Also recommend asking for a rubber bath mat as the bath is extremely slippery!! Duvet very thin and flat needs more blankets non provided. Surprise I used to work in this hotel 35 years ago and apart from lick of paint the rooms basically the same reception area was lovely and warm just the shame the rooms are not . Would I stay here again think not

Absolute Joke! First time being in Bradford and this was horrific, Iโ€™d say spend that extra money and buy a different hotel for your own comfort cause this hotel really isnโ€™t worth it! Iโ€™d love to explain how the state of the room was when we first got here! Absolutely disgusting! โ€œThey have no cleanersโ€. The whole room gives of weird vibes and yeah Iโ€™d happily say Iโ€™m never going to be at this hotel ever again!

What do you expect? It's a budget hotel, and a cheap one at that. The location is on an industrial estate and Google Maps gave an unnecessarily convoluted route involving a long approach over a winding country lane. Check the map for a simpler and quicker route if coming from the South. There is plenty of free parking on site. Public areas of the hotel are clean and cheerfully decorated; our guest room was so-so, looking like it had a cheap repaint hoping to improve it. The carpet was stained but the bed was comfortable, the bed linen and towels clean and fresh. Plenty of storage spaces but only one chair - a wooden one, so nil marks for comfort. Fortunately our stay was only for one night. We had the included breakfast, typical budget fare, but we were offered fried eggs and I'm glad I accepted because it was really good, just the way I like them with the yolk still soft. Would we stay there again? No, not even for the fried eggs.

The quality of the room is poor, and it has not been adequately maintained for some time. All over the curtains are patches. For a day visit, I can recommend. The condition is not very good and there are no bathroom amenities. Attempting to tighten the shower caused me to cut my finger. The staff at the restaurant was excellent.

The reception and kitchen staff are quite good, not sure the housekeeping has an oversight or shoddy job is quite acceptable, Room is filthy, stinks, a strong stench of cigarettes... Regretted every penny spent, the location made it more painful. Needs overhauling and some standard put in place, currently the hotel will barely make it as homeless shelter

Another great night with the lads before their F1iS endeavours. This time no poker but instead preparing cars and trying not to get the police called on us. Good hotel with a wide range of alcohol in the bar for science experiments. Good breakfast. Very near a B&Q and Greggs.

Friendly, welcoming staff let down by dated rooms and decor. Needed a better clean as bathroom smelt of cigarettes and sweets found on floor when we arrived. Be cautious when booking as ยฃ99 a night is fairly steep.

This was a lovely hotel while we visited Bradford , we were expecting a cheap budget experience, but the hotel was really nice , the reception and bar area were of a high standard, the bedroom was spotless, shower was powerful and hot , bed was comfy . The biggest praise goes to Maria in the food & beverage who was especially helpful and lovely , because of her great service we have decided to always use Campanile for our UK city breaks.

Such a lovely stay. Reception staff were very friendly and gave us information about our stay. Room was very spacious and clean. Welcomed our dog despite her size. The bed was very comfortable and had such a hood nights sleep. Gave clean towels in the morning and a staff are well manned. Great price and would stay here again

Simple reasonable hotel with a wonderful can do attitude and a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Never going to win and any beauty contests and the location is functional rather than inspiring and it's 5-10 minutes drive to lots of handy places & everything you can ever need. Some parts may be considered a little dated or worn out but not really where it matters. A lovely breakfast. Kind helpful staff. I've been back there three times for stays of 3-4 days and I'll definitely be going back again.

I thought the staff were lovely and helpful but thought all the communal areas and the room were quite dated and in need of an update. The meeting room was nice and the bar area but the corridors and bedrooms were very worn. The room was very clean and the bedding was too, quilt was very thin so I had to put the heating on all night. Slept like a baby though was very comfy bed. Stayed there due to work and for price you couldn't grumble. Didnt have breakfast so couldn't say what food was like.

Would have given 5 star if the room were a little cleaner. The kettle had burnt milk in it, however this was resolved quickly and with no issue when taken to reception. The sheets were clean and the facilities and amenities were clean and in working order. The bed was so comfy! I understand the carpets are professionally cleaned, however still look old and a little stained in areas. The staff are friendly and take the time to meet your satisfaction. The complimentary breakfast is great, and had a wide range of options. Check in and out was simple, and if we had any questions, reception were really helpful in answering them. The hotel is in an industrial estate, however very close to major roads and cities, and with just a 10min walk, you find yourself in a beautiful woodland and wildlife ponds.

Stayed here for 1 night after seeing Barnsley and QPR match. Clean hotel and rooms . Booked 2 rooms as there were 4 of us . My rooms heater did not work(room 214) . The bathroom extractor fan was not working and by the time we left the toilet stopped flushing ( was working when we arrived). Had no such issues with other room. Considering the price it was ok experience.

Located on an industrial estate doesn't give the place a good look. On entering the hotel the reception & dining area was pleasantly clean & decorated. The room we stayed in was not so pleasant, although the bed sheets & towels were clean & white. The carpet was dirty with sweets on the floor. The bathroom on first entered looked clean until we went to shower to find pubic hair in & around the bath. The toilet is separate from the bathroom with no hand sink to wash your hands . Windows & net curtains need a good clean also. Definitely will not be staying again !!! .

Awesome hotel, dogs allowed at only ยฃ5 per night which is a big selling point for us. We have stayed here about 5 times now and have never been disappointed with the staff or service.

Cheap and basic, fine if that's what you're looking for. It's noisy so take ear plugs. It's also in an industrial estate so don't expect any nice views. I highly recommend eating your breakfast elsewhere. The "hot" food was cold, the "continental" breakfast consisted of cereal, fruit and tiny croissants (if you were lucky). Definitely not worth spending any money on them.

Point #1: What you pay is what you get... Main entrance of the hotel is kinda grand. No doubt. Parking: spacious and brightly lited. Room: Horrible... carpet is very very dirty. Do don on your shoes in the room. (Refer to video). Bedding are dusty and dirty. Sofa bed is too thin to sleep on. DONT RECOMMEND AT ALL!! Toilet: I think the room service is too busy to do a thorough cleaning. Bathing soap is empty.(prepare your own shower gel). Previous customers pants and underwear is still left in the toilet. (Free gift/Door gift maybe) Got woke up in the middle of the night by the broadcasting system at 1.37am... Thanks

Checked in for the night. The downstairs area was lovely, and the staff were friendly. The room was decent. The carpets and curtains needed gutting, though. The noise from the heavy fire doors did get annoying while we were awake, but I slept through any noise when we got back.

A shame, with a face lift this could be one of the best in Bradford. Unfortunately the rooms need attention, the carpets were old, had spills and in our room it appeared to have bleach spilt over the area, the curtains were dirty, and in the morning you could see all the moth holes. The staff were helpful and friendly, and were very approachable. The location is great, near the motorway and a quick drive away from town and amenities. Get a face-lift, probably would end up being a very popular hotel for visits to West Yorkshire. As it is it will remain a workers stop over.

Sadly it has deteriorated considerably. In the last 5 to 6 years to my previous stay. The carpets horribly stained, and need replacing, bath stained and needs refurbishment.. otherwise the bar and restaurant still fine

Worst hotel not worth it at all specially if you staying with family, even there are no facility to warm milk for your 1 year old child. Rudest staff never had that worst experience in my life. Rooms are dirty and carpet is smelly. When you complaint to manager she have stupid excuses of health and safety. I hope my experience helps other. Take care

Hotel was part of a Caledonian bus trip. Rooms need a refresh. Especially the carpets. Hotel in industrial estate with nothing else close by. 4 taxi companies tried and none would come to Hotel on Saturday night. No issues with the staff or food.

Good one night stay but close to dual carriage way so a little noisy. Easy location for getting around using uber. Room in need of renovation and some areas like carpet stained.

We requested adjoining rooms after I had booked at short notice and they accommodated us with no problem. The staff are all friendly and polite. We have stayed before but first time having breakfast which was lovely and I am a fussy eater. Rooms were clean, plenty of pillows and lovely and warm. Only thing I struggled with was climbing in/out of shower with arthritis but that's my fault for not explaining this when booming. Overall the only place we stay when coming to Bradford, I've had a great nights sleep and leaving with a happy family xx

Friendly and helpful check-in, a comfortable and clean room and lovely staff at breakfast. Easy parking and clear instructions around the hotel. I particularly like the boutique with toiletries and snacks in the lobby

Great for solo trip. Friendly staff and facility easy to use. Not 4/5 stars because phone in bedroom wasn't working and bed sheets were not clean....found long auburn hair in bed that was not mine. Breakfast was great and lots of choices. Great location away from noise and clean grounds! Lots of parking !! Would come back again ๐Ÿ˜Š

Stayed here for one night, lovely hotel, staff were lovely also. Asked for extra toilet roll & pillow & was given the items quickly with out fuss. I would say to maybe get the drains checked as water built up fast in sink & didn't go down properly & took ages. And also clean out the coffee machines in the breakfast area as you can taste the lime scale in them.

Nice welcome at reception & after requesting a room near reception I was given one of the first rooms closest to the entrance to the corridor. A very older looking basic room with a few bits needing attention, the curtain looked like it had been used for shooting practice it had so many holes in it. I must compliment the restaurant the food was delicious & hot & prepared well for me to take back to my room the restaurant server called my room to let me know it was ready. A clean budget hotel near motorway.

  • 3/5 Rizwan H. 1 year ago on Google
Good stay. Good breakfast. Gave me an iron and ironing board when asked for them. The cups used in the room were not washed properly after the first day and had coffee residue stains from my coffee of the first day. Please check when you arrive that your parking is registered as this is managed by a different company. The reception staff took my car details but seem to have not processed them so I urge all customers to do this themselves as soon as they arrive.

Honestly not worth the ยฃ93 we paid. The rooms were basic and everything we need but what let it down was how dirty it was. The bathroom was not clean and full of hair, dust and dirt. The floors are filthy and the bed had bugs in it!! I hope it wasnโ€™t bed bugs!! Thereโ€™s only one lift in the big hotel it is so it takes ages to get to and from your room (we had a pram). Breakfast was nice with lots of selection including vegetarian and vegan options. Unfortunately would not stay hear again.

  • 1/5 Bina B. 1 year ago on Google
Have stayed in this hotel before but on this occasion was very disappointed. The corridor smelt of cigarette smoke and our room had been sprayed to cover a similar smell. The room itself was roomy but very minimal. The carpet was full of stains and cigarette burns. It dint help my asthma at all. The plaster was peeling off the walls too and the toilet qas partially broke. The bed was lumpy but we didn't notice too much as we were tired from our day. I was disappointed with the breakfast too as most of the hot food was dry due to being under the heat lamp too long. It's not a hotel I would choose next time I'm afraid.

Very good hotel. All staff helpful amd friendly. Bar and restaurant are nicely done out. Evening meals in restaurant were very nice. I didn't have breakfast. Hotel and room was very clean and spacious. Quiet area. Ample free parking for guests. Only downside was my room could do with new carpet but apart from this I can't fault it. Will definitely stay again in near future. Thanks.

Stayed at this hotel for about two weeks when I arrived Bradford for work. It was perfect and so cosy. The rooms appear to be soundproof and the ambience is great. The view from my room on the 3rd floor was absolutely lovely. The room service staff were also friendly and professional. The breakfast options were just right and the breakfast staff friendly and kind. Special mention to Jed at the Front Desk who was also very helpful, warm and kind. I definitely would recommend this place again and again.
