This place has some amazing food! It's got a very traditional seating area upstairs! Customer service is good as staff are hospitable and want you to have a good experience. It can be improved when customers first enter the store and with call back checks. There are a variety of food options to choose from, the platter is good for groups. See photos attached!

This place has become one of my favorite . I tried their afghani chicken karahi before with naan . Bt this time i tried with thei qabuli rice nd it was delicious . Rice was soo flavourful.Their chicken tikka kabab was also top notch. This was my 2nd time there. Definitely going again.

This is a small restaurant, far from hygiene and cleanliness. Food was okay, Afghan pilao was tasteless but Chapli kebabs were exceptionally good, must try. Will I go again? Probably not.

Shorba and kebab was good, Nan wasn’t cook properly and kabali pilau had. K flavour . Overall food was fresh but service is super slow and staff not very friendly.

The Chapli Kebabs were hands down amazing! I’ve been craving them everyday since I left this restaurant! That crunch crisp outside and juicy flavorful inside has made this one of my all time favorite dishes ! I loved the upstairs seating area.

This place has the best food in LEEDS (halal) I always get the kabli rice with the huge lamb shank. Wow absolutely delicious it’s better than the Asian takeaways such as my Lahore or mumtaz. The mint sauces are delicious and baklava and I’ve ordered takeaway three times , it’s always the same quality , I will come here with my family to dine in soon

I have been regular customer for a few years. Quality of food and taste has deteriorate within last one year. This is after multiple visits with in last two months. I am reluctant to visit again.

We went last time everything was perfect, food was very nice, staff was very friendly and so was the atmosphere very peaceful and relaxing. However thus time when we went we were all so excited to go again,but I think the staff and management had changed so everything had changed. The food wasn't even so nice and the staff was so rude even the seating wasn't clean. Waste of time and money. Would recommend to anyone horrendous experience.

Outstanding restaurant, friendly staff, authentic cuisine that wouldn't be out of place in the typical south Asian household. In my opinion, probably the best restaurant in Leeds if you like south Asian cuisine. Delicious.

Got the famous platter, its was brilliant, unfortunately due to the restaurant being busy we were unable to find seating upstairs but managed to find seating downstairs - Back to the food, the meats were fresh and seasoned to perfection, the rice was silky - it all went down a treat - definately recommend to everyone

We order from here regularly and most often when we have London guests we order the special Chopan mixed grill £50. We have ordered this since 2018 however this time it was so disappointing and clearly the owners took shortcuts. We noticed brother and it was very dishonest of you and so embarrassing. The rice had practically the smallest lamb shank with just a large bones, only two kebabs, the ribs had been sliced in half and it was Bones for cats, to make it look like more, there was hardly any meat portion. Usually we always have meat rice leftover but this time there wasn’t even enough meat to feed the guests. If this is your way of trying to cheat customers because of your living expenses it was very bad of you. Sadly we will never order the £50 grill from here again because it’s so dishonest of you and the meat portion was reduced by 40%!!

Gotta be honest, this place is fantastic! Much of the food is basic, authentic and absolutely delicious. Most of the menu is worth a try, especially the large 5 person kebab platter - honestly worth every penny.

Fantastic food and great staff. Sat upstairs on a carpeted and cushioned floor in a private booth. Ordered chapalli kebab with nan. Free starter of chicken soup - yummy. Food arrived and was delicious and fresh. Staff were very friendly. I asked to pray and they kindly provided a prayer mat and confirmed qibla direction. Really look forward to returning to this place.

Authentic Afghan cuisine presented in true Afghan style. Host Mateen Jan and Kareem and the serving lady were warm, accommodating and hospitable in a manner truly representative of the Afghan culture. These guys keep it plain, simple and clean serving the tastiest food in most generous portions leaving you with no chance of asking for more. Kabuli Pulao was excellent with soft tender juicy meat. Chapli Kebabs were very well made. Qehwa (traditional Afghan green tea) is a must have at the end after such heavy food and is served with traditional jaggery. Go take your family and enjoy a good hearty meal freshly served in a hygienic environment- all at a very reasonable price.
