Really good food and nice coffee. Perfect for breakfast and lunch. Recommending sitting outside, great atmosphere with jazz music.

Popped in for the first time. We fell lucky as there was a pianist playing upstairs which was very enjoyable. Nice that the coffee is served in a cafetière. We had a whole grain bagel with cream cheese and it was served with coleslaw and a small portion of vegetable crisps on the side. The chap who served us (who I assume was the owner) had a pleasant demeanour and I thought the prices were very reasonable. Will certainly revisit.

Easily the most chilled out and relaxing cafe in Wakefield. Properly prepared classic coffee from North Star is provided here at a very good price, along with a diverse selection of bagels in a variety of bread types. The breakfast menu is incredibly tasty, waffles with actual maple syrup seems to be a real rarity here in Wakefield, but they can be found here. Upstairs seating and meeting room facilities are available to be rented with 24 hours notice, great for small group conferences. Definitely recommended visit for someone new to Wakefield looking for an early morning treat at a reasonable price.

Awesome atmosphere. Food was delicious. Coffee was tasty! Child chair was available, just ask. Perfect place for cosy lunch.

My wife and I visited here for lunch today. Brie and cranberry bagel (left out the bacon as I’m a vegetarian!) was very nice. My wife had the New York Classic - smoked salmon and cream cheese - she said it was also very nice. Many thanks for an enjoyable and relaxing lunch with jazz music in the background.

Absolutely fantastic! The food was amazing, the waitress was really kind and helpful, and the music created a nice calm atmosphere. It was a really great experience and I will definitely be going again!

Just my opinion but the music is too loud, you can't talk to each other easily. The staff are really polite and helpful and the food is top.

Really nice bagel, the chef was happy to swap ingredients for his fillings too which made it a perfect experience. Will be sure to go back soon and highly recommend for anyone who loves a good bagel.

Delicious bagels and excellent coffee. The place is a very comfy. Sitting upstairs on the sofas is lovely and the outdoor seating in the summer is great. I would highly recommend a visit if you like bagels or coffee.

Fantastic food and fantastic coffee. The owner was very helpful as I had a pram and he told my son were the stash of toys were hidden so he would be entertained. There was a lovely atmosphere especially with the jazz music playing in the background. Overall a brilliant experience and I will definitely be visiting again.

Whilst the food I had tasted nice, I just think £7 for a plain bagel, 2 rashers of bacon and 1 sausage is really expensive. When we called to give feedback they didn't seem to care and said I'd actually got an extra slice of bacon which makes it worse. Won't be going again

This place came on our radar when the owner was giving away free samples on a Friday evening. They were delicious! Me and my fiancée made a vow to give the place a try for our Sunday breakfast. It didn’t disappoint! The breakfast bagels were amazing. The ingredients are well chosen and fresh. The coffee is real and local. The vibe and feel of the place is superb with its local art and smooth jazz. Will definitely be returning, a real little gem of a local business that needs to be supported.

I wanted a quiet spot to grab some food and a coffee from before doing a morning shop in Wakefield and saw this place a few weeks back. They don't advertise a lot so it's very low key but what a gem it is. I was able to relax and have a beautiful north star coffee (filter only which is perfectly fine!) And a beautiful sausage and egg bagel. Amazing spot, the lady who served me was super friendly too. Will be back.

Tasty bagel, I chose the the hummus, feta and salad, it came with a side order of crisps and a delicious homemade coleslaw. Chilled jazz playing in the background, would definitely recommend giving it a try

I've just moved out of Wakefield and have wanted to try this cafe for a while. So on a quick visit I gave it a go. Firstly, it looks small from the front but there are plenty of seats inside so don't be put off going in. As you walk in you're greeted by a lovely looking place and welcoming staff. They have a nice menu and some lovely gluten free options. It's a really friendly and relaxing place. Some nice jazz to chill to. I'm so glad I had the chance to pop in. I highly recommend trying here for yourself. Hope this is useful:)
