Hidden gem. This venue is tucked away up what looks like a residential street , and at first glance appears to be some kind of converted social club. It was a really great gig venue, great sound, lots of room, options to sit round the sides , a bar with fair prices , new clean bathrooms and a really nice decked out smoking area that all looked new too . Lots of care has been put into this venue and it shows . We will be back .

Went to a 60th birthday party. The drummer was the birthday boy. Plenty of good food and entertainment. Real ale for men and lager for the boys.

I went last night for Saracen gig. I've not been for many years since the Marsdens Northern Soul nights. I was very impressed, good value , good bands, clean toilets, reasonable prices . Above all what impressed me was the great bar staff, some young kids and the owner, all attentive & fun. A rare find in Chezvegas nowadays Highly recommended, and I wish them well with their business

After playing guitar for over 30 years, I decided to try bass. After looking at countless reviews of various basses online, I decided to pull the trigger. The Musicman Sterling Sub Series had great reviews and I couldn't believe my luck when I found on their website Real Time had one in stock, it was the colour I wanted too. It was my first visit to the shop and Tony who was working that day was polite friendly and helpful, an absolute gentleman. Can't thank him enough and I will definitely call back for any other musical needs.

This is a really lovely music shop. Others I have been to aren't so welcoming, but they are knowledgeable and nice!

Lots of car parking nearby. Easy to find. Great, live music purpose venue. Very affordable night out. Sensible admission numbers. Affordable bar. We saw a Noel Gallagher tribute act. Fantastic. Amazing sound set up. Good atmosphere. We'll definitely revisit.

Don't know why this was my first visit to this venue, great place, acoustics were great, cozy shoulder rubbing down the front still with space at the back, great bar selection & prices, an absolute gem we're lucky to have.

Awesome, great prices and very fair part exchange valuations too. Equipment from beginner to pro. Most impressive was the customer service, superb advice from friendly staff. No pushy sales talk, just a genuinely pleasant vibe to the place. My new favourite guitar shop!!

It's a nice sized place. I'm not aware of any disabled access? Two flights of steep stairs. I attended a private function. They needed more seating on the night. Prices for drink reasonable.

Karobela, The Wicked Jackals and Suicide Notes who played on Sat. 10th July were all brilliant in different ways. Great to be gigging again and flaunting my seat dancing 🎶💃🏻🤩🖤

Went to see The heavily pregnant brothers. Doors opened at 7.30pm. We phoned up prior to the performance and they didn't know what time they were coming on stage. Cosaquently stood for 2 hours waiting for them to come on and no where to sit. Quite frankly boring, worse than waiting for the kettle to boil. A support act came on for half an hour and I though her rubbish and couldn't hear a word she was singing. By the end of 4 hours of standing we were worn out. Thankfully the Heavily pregnant brothers were brilliant as they always are.

Not seen Seth Lakeman for a long time. This small venue was ideal to re-acquaint with his music. Standing only venue but I contacted beforehand to request a stool as I have arthritis in my knee. Very accommodating.

Great venue, fantastic stage, not too big so all can see. The alcohol at the bar was fair but the pop was small and a bit flat. Toilets were lovely and clean, hand dryer nearly blew your head off it was that powerful. Not sure if disability friendly it was upstairs and I didn't see a lift but I may have missed it.

What a super venue! Have attended this many times. Great live music, good sound system and fabulous atmosphere. The bar is small but has a wide range of drinks on offer. I have always had a good night out here. Staff are very friendly as are the door staff upon entry. It can get very crowded at times but this all adds to the atmosphere. They have a wide variety of bands on offer from a wide range of genre - something for everyone! I highly recommend this place and would consider it the best music venue in Chesterfield at the moment. You can even hire out the venue for private functions if space is available in their calendar. It is in the town centre and has other pubs close by too so you can always have a drink elsewhere before or after - big thanks Realtime LIVE for a great venue.

Brilliant little venue! The band we saw were amazing, and even the warm up gig prior was exceptional. On this particular visit the bar was short of a few staff due to covid, however it didn’t affect the service, and all of the guys and girls behind the counter were really polite, friendly and smiled despite their huge workload and custom. Well done! I’m really looking forward to the next visit again soon!

Just had my son's 50th birthday party here. About 80 - 90 guests. Absolutely fantastic. Definitely the top venue in the east Midlands. Stevo couldn't do enough for us. Majority of guests were 80s Mods. Band on the night The Nutty Boys. They were superb. Played everything we all wanted to hear and dance to. Dance floor never empty all night. Facilities were amazing. Nice clean toilets, covered smoking area. Excellent bar and choice of drinks. EVERYBODY attending said it was the perfect night in the perfect place. Than you Stevo for making it an unforgettable birthday for Chris.

Visited today to get kitted out with a new guitar ahead of music GSCE starting in September. The team were really friendly & knowledgeable & allowed our daughter the time & space to try out the different guitars available so she could decide which style & size were going to be best for her to handle & most comfy. Bass, natural volume & the instruments natural sound chamber & all the other technical elements were discussed with her & again time & space given for her to listen in. Her preference to colour & finish & the Bank of mum & dad were also listened to & respected & satisfied. The lack of knowledge we had was not a problem & we have learnt alot today in a very respected & friendly manner. The team listened to our other needs around her studies including helping her record herself & once again we were shown different pieces of kit to help with this. Our daughter is very shy & has hearing aids & again the staff were so friendly & relaxed & made the whole experience so very enjoyable for us all. She is now strumming it out in her bedroom. Fantastic all round experience - Nothing but high praise for the team & we are so happy to have found somewhere relatively local to go for all things guitar where the kiddo felt relaxed. Thanks Real Time Music - More than great customer service & a fantastic range of product & price. See you soon. The more than happy Mortons x

This place is amazing, well curated new and second hand gear in a laid back establishment. Gold tops, most of the fender models, banjo ukeleles, starter gear, everything you could want. Glad I wandered down the street ‘following yonder massive Les Paul model’. Will be back.
