Visited this place for a puncture repair. Owner was pretty rude a dismissive. Waited about 40 mins for someone to be free and do it even though owner was sat doing nothing. I needed a different new tyre a couple of weeks later and decided I'd give him the benefit of the doubt and go again. Asked if he could put a new tyre on. "No. Closing soon" then he walked away. Really needs to work on his customer service to be honest or maybe get someone else in to do it!

Asked to fit a part that I bought from VW (because they couldn’t fit me in - in time) soon as I mentioned that I’d bought the part needed I got told “nope! In that case we aren’t interested! We aren’t interested in anyone else’s parts” and then hung up! Absolutely shocking service and quite clearly couldn’t be arsed to do the work.

Excellent service... nothing is too much trouble and they are happy to recommend other business that offer what they don't provide... Will be returning and taking our van too.

I've used Dickies a couple of times now for my 93' VW T4 and can't recommend them enough. I've used them for a couple of electrical worries and an MOT and both times they've sorted the issues same day and had flexibility when it came to collection/drop offs. Their engineers have made good recommendations and are friendly and approachable. Pricing is great, the engineers are great and service is great! I've moved area and will continue to use Dickies.

Incredible garage, the mechanics really know their stuff, I've been to a few garages about an issue I've being having with my car. That being my washer wasn't spraying water properly, I had taken my car to 3 other garages, which they took an air compressor gave my pipes a blast of air, job done, £30 a pop, and the problem kept on coming back. More fool me right... Well, I took my car to Dickies and they told me a filter within my water jet system would be clogged, or needed replacing, either way they fixed this issue for £60ish and a month later, the problem has vanished. This might be a small and trivial issue, but it was costing me a stupid amount of money, I don't have the knowledge and experience to work on my car but it is clear to me the mechanics at Dickies are certain knowledgeable and have vast experience. From then on I have used this garage since! I might add thay Dickies might not be the cheapest, but they are certainly not the most expensive and for the level of care, knowledge and passion, they are a great price, anybody that really values their car and or values a job completed with true professionals of the trade. These are the guys! 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend.

Popped in early morning with a flat tyre, they were more than happy to help and I picked it up later the same day after they repaired the damage. They even fitted it back to my car. Great service and the repair saved me the cost of a new tyre.

First time I've used them and I will be back. Had a very honest and pleasant experience from the offset when I called them last week. Car in and out in a few hours, job done for a decent price. Had to go back for a small issue which they admitted fault to and fixed it within a couple hours and had me back on the road. I've used a few garages in the area and been ripped off by most of them at one point or another but I can say that these guys went above and beyond to make sure the right parts were fitted and they were happy to double check them and make adjustments to ensure my happiness, safety and wellbeing of the car. They also took on extra work at my request in a moments notice and didn't quibble, just got it done. I will be bringing my car back here for all other jobs in the future, cant fault them. Such a nice knowledgeable team of lads.

Have used this garage for MOT on both mine and the other halfs car. Both times the staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating. No unexpected bills or silly jargon. Would highly recommend.

Got us in at short notice to check a DPF error following a long motorway trip me and the family took from down south. The error turned out to be a Mazda only code on the diagnostics, however the guy at the garage was very good, let us drop off the car early, suggested what the issue might be, didn't charge for his time and was very decent and fair. Good people to deal with.
