First time visiting here, tricky to find somewhere to park, the service and food was amazing. Would definitely go back again, they also do takeaway which I would like to try too.

Went here for lunch and we were impressed by the quality of the food. All of us were in awe the moment we had a bite of the pork dumplings. So delicious! And the mains were delicious as well. Not to mention the spectacle of the shank that was burning in flames. Wow. The staff was very friendly and nice too. We'll definetely go again!

An unexpected find, The Boar Home Dining serves delicious and filling food the likes of which you might find in a good gastropub. The food is cooked to a high standard that I am surprised how little it costs. Between our group we had the pork, duck, lamb and dumplings. I would be happy to pay £6-10 more for each dish. The servers are lovely and attentive, and they were great with our children (11mo and 5yo). Only downsides are it is quite small inside, and you have to go outside to get to the bathrooms. I would also like to see more vegetarian options e.g. the stew with or without meat.

The choice of menu was just right (not too long trying to offer everything!). Pork shank was very tender and juicy. Dumplings melts in your mouth. Staff were friendly and helpful. Not to mention the price is very reasonable. Can’t wait to go back again!

If this was in Leeds Kirkgate market where the Owl used to be they’d be booked out everyday and charging much more. So we’ll be back regularly before they move onto better things!

Fantastic polish food, even better than most meals I've actually eaten in Poland. The meal of the day is incredible valuable with a soup and a main course for £12. Main meals are all very high quality. Good selection of Beers. Friendly service and a good location tucked away from the busy streets of the city centre (although this can make parking tricky as surrounding streets are permit only. With Duchniaks now closed this is a must visit for anyone wanting quality Polish food in Wakefield.
