I've been going here for about 22 years now and ALWAYS have an excellent experience. The service is second to none with staff taking time to understand your requirements as well as budget. It's great to see familiar faces like Shaun and Del each time I go in, who make an effort each time to ask how I am doing. It's the small family run suit company with all of the benefits of customer service in a large chain store package with plenty of choice. In house free alterations when purchasing, always done perfectly. I won't go anywhere else for suits or service.

Honestly, I wasn't holding out much hope as the previous shops we'd been in around Leeds weren't that helpful towards a teenage girl looking for a man's suit. However, store manager Sean was amazing and helped us get sorted and made my daughter feel at ease. If it hadn't of been for him, or the other staff member then I think we'd have gone online shopping as we'd been so disheartened. Visit here if you need a suit, whether it's your first one or your 20th, their customer service is top notch and worth its weight in gold.

I have just been to Slater’s in Leeds as I needed a suit for a black tie event in December. I will admit it was extremely daunting walking in as I was completely out of my depth and comfort zone, but I was put right at ease when meeting Del Roth. He was a complete gentleman, so attentive, and made sure to find me exactly what I needed without issue or fuss. I came away with everything for only £210, which was less than I had estimated, so a further positive from my experience. All in all I cannot recommend the store, and Del in particular, enough. I will happily be recommending anyone visit here if they are in need of a suit, as the experience was superb!

Very positive experience. Had to prepare for a last minute wedding with tight deadline, and we were a large group. All staff were very helpful and attentive. Especially Kingsley who went above and beyond and was very patient with our requests. Would highly recommend this store.

Fantastic service by Del Roth! I needed to buy a suit for a wedding and left it last minute. Del went out of his way to ensure I had everything I needed and stayed with me every step of the way to offer advice. I actually ended up buying everything I needed from the suit to shoes, bow tie & cufflinks. My trousers were also a bit longer than needed so Del also arranged to sort the fitting out on the day! Would highly recommend to buy your suits from this place as they are so much better than Next, Moss Bros etc and cheaper!

Very nice place. Lots of choice, helpful staff and no one will come from behind and shout, “are you okay there? Do you need anything? “ I bought a nice blazer and a lady on first floor helped me very much. She was polite, spontaneous and showed me multiple options and also helped me in choosing the blazer.

The service I received whilst looking for a suit was outstanding. Every member of staff knew their stuff and helped me. I got a whole suit, brogues, shirt, belt and bow tie, all for £244. Sean and Allison helped me pick out all my pieces for the suit and got me various shirts etc. The brogues are the comfiest I've ever had. If you need a suit quick, they can sort you out. They also do alterations as well but that can take a few days. Go here for a suit! The service is amazing and so are the suits

We stumbled across Slater's walking around Leeds and decided to have a look to price up the suits we need for our wedding. From start to finish was a fantastic experience, the shop assistant was very informative and honest. No hard selling or pushing to buy/hire. He took his time with us and honestly made it a relaxed and pleasurable experience for us both. He took our details to save for if we decided to get the suits from them and I can say with no doubt we will definitely be going back to Slater's for the suits. I'd recommend for anyone who wants honest, real service and fairly priced suits/menswear.

I needed a black suit for a works do and was served by Keith, he was really professional and courteous. The suit didn't quite fit right, the jacket needed taking in and I was looking for more of slim fit on the trousers, this was no problem for Keith, he measured and pinned the suit and said it would be ready at the end of the day (I was only in Leeds for the day), sure enough picked the suit up , everything was good, fit was perfect, all alterations were free, great service, not an expensive suit, won't go anywhere else now.

After a bad experience with uninterested staff from suit shops in Sheffield, following a recommendation from a friend I went to Slater Menswear in Leeds. When I got there I was greeted by Mr Richard a very polite and experienced gentleman. With his experience with just a glance he knew my correct measures and showed me a variety of suits according to my preferences, he was very patient and kind. When I decided which suit I wanted he recommended some adjustments which they do free of charge! After he helped me to choose a shirt, tie, belt and even shoes. I couldn't be more satisfied. If you value your time and want value for your money this is the right place to go, unlike certain shops they don't try to push and pressure you to buy and there's none of that nonsense of certain places that you have to book an appointment. I can't recommend this place enough, it's from far the best experience I ever had as a customer. Thank you Richard!

Excellent service very helpful staff. The suit needed alterations and these were done expertly. Due to train strike we rang 1 day before the collection date to see if the alterations were done and they were so collected without a problem to overcome, again cannot rate them highly enough.

I love this store and the staff, they are always extremely helpful and provide fantastic customer service. If they don't have an item in store they will order it in specially for you. Alterations are spot on. The quality of the clothing is good and at a very fair price.

I'm not the type to post review of places normally. Have to say the advisor/salesman called Sean is a top man. Great customer service, made me feel welcome and informed. Laid out the options and let me decide. Also had a good chat about work and day to day stuff too. Give the man a pay rise.

Amazing service from Sean McLaughlin. Popped in to look for wedding suits for the groom after finding no luck elsewhere and Sean was patient, friendly and gave great advice. Couldn't fault the service - he knew his stuff, was keen to have a joke but there was absolutely no pressure. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend! Prices are amazing too!

The assistant manger Del helped me and my girlfriend to find a suit for me. He was extremely helpful and very pleasant. Nothing was too much to ask, he was happy to help, made us feel very welcome and I came away with a great purchase.

If you need a suit make sure you come in and ask for Del. One of the best stylists and gave me a very comfortable and relaxing time and accommodated all my requirements. Excellent style tips and I’ve left with the perfect suit for the planned occasion!

We called in impromptu with only a week to go to my sisters wedding and required a suit for my 13 year old son, we knew we were cutting it fine however the staff were excellent and provided what I can only class as an excellent service, they had to take a suit in in several areas as my son is very slim and only small in height, we wanted to also try a pair of shoes and the lady who was attempting to find the correct size and colour of what we needed was really friendly and professional however on this occasion we couldn't find any on his size. We collected his suit a week later and the alterations were fantastic and it fit him really well, would highly recommend this store.

The whole team at Slaters were really helpful in finding us the perfect wedding suit for me and our groomsmen. The selection they have is amazing, and allowed us to compare lots of different styles and price points until we found the perfect one. Having stores across the country allowed all the groomsmen to get fitted at their local store, and made the whole process really easy to manage.

Went here to get my grooms suit and it worked out well! They had a great wool blend green 3 piece suit in the right size for £150 which was great value in my opinion. The staff are very helpful and know what works and what doesn't. I recommend it.

I only discovered this store a few months ago and it's fast become my go-to place for smart and smart-casual menswear. The customer service is second to none. Having had a minor issue with an online order I popped into the store today and Sammy & Antoinette simply couldn't do enough to help me out. Would recommend this place to anybody who likes decent clothes at a good price and with fantastic old-fashioned customer service.

After spending hours looking for suits. I remembered I haven’t been to Slaters yet. I went there and I could not have been happier, the customer service was absolutely amazing and I was able to get an amazing suit that fits me like a glove for my budget! The standout was a gentlemen called David, who was extremely pleasant, humorous and he went above and beyond to make sure I am happy with my suit! Thank you and god bless you David!

I can’t recommend this shop enough. We urgently needed dress shirts trousers for a wedding tomorrow. Moths had eaten big holes in my husbands morning suit trousers. Keith was fantastic and they even altered the trousers then and there to get the fit just right. The shop is huge and prices are very fair. Brilliant service.

Poor customer service. They don’t come to you. Staff are sleepy and have no vibe to serve you. Don’t waste your time

Been shopping here for years and the service is always first class. Went in to collect a suit today and it wasn’t quite right which was my fault. Scottish Sean sorted it out immediately which was very helpful. English Shaun hope you are proud of the team you have built up👍👍

Went over 2 weeks ago to order some suits for graduation, got home and put them on, mine did not even have the adjustments done :) and the back vent for my dads was not even stitched together. The journey takes 2 hours, the manager said to come back tomorrow and was sorry, it's too late to go elsewhere so i can only hope it gets done before i graduate. Update The lady at the till was very nice and we fixed the problems in 20 minutes, and they also gave me back 10% of the cost as an apology.

We had an amazing experience shopping in the store. Sean McLaughlin was very patient with us and suggested the best items as per our needs. His amazing personality and sense of humour kept us entertained as we spent almost 4 hours shopping in the store.
