the owner scams customers. he quotes a price for shipping that is 4 times higher than listed online. then he says if i pay cash (off the books) that he will give me a better deal. this is illegal and is tax fraud. i packed and sealed my parcel while in the store with the manager and after i left he cut the box back open and took some of my items out. he then emailed me and says that i need to pay to recover them. i have had great experiences at other mbe stores but this one will rip you off. avoid if possible. i have reported them to the mbe corporate office and the hmrc government agency.

The service that I received from MBE, Leeds was outstanding & most professional throughout. I would have no hesitation to recommend them at anytime. Considering that had to collect my somewhat valuable purchase from an auction house in Skipton and then package it to be sent to my address in Norfolk, they carried their service most successfully with great communication at the same time. I've used MBE Leeds a couple of times for collecting items from auction houses. Both occasions they have been exceptionally quick in packing and posting the items - this time they arrived within a week of the auction date. This is the fastest service I've had from any MBE office or their competitors. Packaging has been top notch despite shipping quite delicate items. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

Fragile items expertly packed and posted by Mailboxes Leeds. Its not until something arrives in pieces that you appreciate the merits of a professional packing company. Mailboxes are generally not the cheapest, but you do genuinely get what you pay for and if the item or items is valuable or of sentimental value then its well worth it.

Very friendly staff, made the packing so simple for me and a relatively reasonable price to send to South east Asia. This is such a huge difference compared to my experience from a prominent delivery courier which I payed through the nose for such horrible service. Will definitely be coming back if needed! They shipped an antique item from Hutchinson Scott Auctioneers to me and I'm overseas. The auctioneer's inhouse shipping service provided me a quote that was double that of Mail Boxes Leeds who did the job excellently. The object was somewhat fragile because of glass elements. Packing could not have been more thorough and professional. I have no hesitation to use them again in the future!
