We stayed in Silver 5 and we thoroughly enjoyed the caravan apart from only having about 20% use of the TV due to it constantly losing signal, pixelating and randomly losing 80% of the channels when it did seem to work for a while. We contacted site manager whom said it was because of the mast that set on fire last August and still hasn't been fully sorted so we will just have to keep retuning/resetting it, which did become a bit tedious to keep having to do that which didn't actually help most times at it lost more channels on several occasions doing this. Trying to watch Formula one race highlights and watch snooker especially in evening when relaxing was annoying. We asked another hired caravan if they were having issues and they said no and spoke to an owner of a static and they said all was fine with theirs but I bet we had spoken to Andy, we said yes and they just said no surprise then. I said if it is a signal issue they should provide a booster signal box as the TV is part of caravan hire. Who ever cleans the caravans do a great job only niggle is they just need to check the cups, plates, cutlery etc... to make sure previous guests have cleaned them properly as I ended up washing everything as we found cutlery especially spoons badly stained and food marks on some plates etc... And also to wipe over the blind in kitchen, oh yes and to turn fridge/freezer on prior to guests arriving so it is already cold ready for items to be put in. Perhaps placing tube foam around bottom end bed legs to help prevent sore toes of guests as the amount of times we banged them mainly getting up to go toilet in night as not much space around double bed. Maybe net curtains so guests have choice to pull open or keep drawn as we did feel a little bit like being in a gold fish bowl as we like more privacy which nets would provide. All in all we enjoyed our stay and we would go again as it's a lovely quiet site and everyone very friendly and lovely small fishing pond, hopefully TV ariel/signal will be sorted by then! Both local pubs do lovely food too, starter and burger is from Station Inn and pizza from Black Horse in village.

MISS LEADING. SUMMER BREEZE caravan booked via Hoseasons & the pictures on there are a caravan that hasn’t been on the site for 2 years (owner said) we booked summer breeze for a bath with overhead shower which is stated on the website it had(in the description) we got given a really small abi caravan 2 bedrooms .. seriously uncomfortable it was on the end row with the sight of the tourers out your window of the Caravan , the caravan we should of got was massive. Meant to be 12ft wide “spacious “ even a verandah was expected due to the pictures, really disappointed. It was a small 10ft caravan inside with the tiniest bathroom space, owners not very helpful just “ring Hoseasons” “had to many complaints about the same van” and didn’t want to help much, rubbish start to the holiday and it’s not very reachable to anything (need car for sure) in the middle of nowhere, don’t recommend. Especially as a family of four - the caravan is only big enough for two. We made the best out of a holiday which was shambles tbh. I Needed to make this review so other people are aware before they book Double check what you have booked.

Peaceful, friendly, clean site, lovely static caravan, plenty of space for dog walking, kids playing field and play area. Showers & toilets in middle of site so good access for tourer caravans &'tents, 10mins walk to local shop, tea rooms, pub, bus stop to York by tea rooms. Entry to the site is the Station pub, dine in or take away delicious food, dogs allowed in bar area and garden. WiFi here at a daily/weekly charge.

Had a wonderful stay with my partner and our dog the caravans are spacious and clean. The site is well maintained a lovely quiet spot we decided to check out early due to hot weather and our dog being too warm but we will definitely return in the future. There is a fishing pond on site I managed to catch a couple during my stay. The caravans are well equipped for a short stay, free wifi and tele included. The bed was very comfy, powerful shower facilities, we do not have anything to complain about what so ever very pleased with everything great value for money and we can’t wait to come back

Booked for the week in July, 2 tents and 1 campervan. Had been a few years back and was hoping it would be just as good, but it was even better, we were on the back field next to shower block and wash up station (very clean i should add) and we had all the room needed, children played safely on the large playing field and also on smaller park. Went for meal at the station Inn which is connected to the site (used to be a chinese restaurant)and was very pleased with all the meals, not the cheapest but well worth the money, everyone enjoyed very much and staff were very nice and friendly. Would highly recommend this site and will definitely be going back, management team were very helpful. Thanks.

Our happy place , Andy Tracy and Colin are always friendly and helpful Well kept site , lovely clean facilities , brilliant field for the kids and dogs , PLUS fishing for hubby ! Relaxed rules providing you’re sensible and courteous to other campers ; paddle pool allowed , extra windbreak allowed provided they’re moved when we leave and keep our area tidy , trimming the grass around awning etc . It’s definitely home from home and I can’t wait to get back each weekend !

Quiet site situated between Thirsk and York, good access to many places via the A19. Site management is excellent and very friendly, site is secured by barrier requiring a fob to open it. 2 pubs within very easy walking distance and a good village shop.

Very good. Very friendly and helpful. Excellent pub on site. The static caravan was very clean and well equipped. The nearby village has an amazing shop. There is a lovely tea room too. There is a small play area on site but an amazing play area in the main village with a bmx track.

This is primarily a caravan park but does have a field for camping too. Very reasonable price (£25 a night including electricity) and the owners were happy for us to charge our EV from the electric hookup. Clean, well maintained, high quality wash block including toilets, free showers, and a utility / washing up area.

I enjoyed my stay this weekend the only thing which is why I only gave 3 stars is there was only one loo paper for 4 of us and if we stayed longer then 3 days we shouldn’t have to go out and get more when we have already paid to stay here and my second issue was no free Wi-Fi if your old your probably not bothered by no internet but all 4 of us had to use our own data and for some not having unlimited is an issue this should be free wifi and according to your website you do provide it however in your pamphlet it says to connect pay a fee Apart from this I had a really enjoyable stay the caravan was clean and the bed was very comfortable would come again if the above issues were fixed

I would not recommend this place to anyone because there is not any facilities and the caravans need some replacements in regards to furniture and beds as it seems to be very dirty and long time has not been changed.
