We really enjoyed our tea at Heathfield Farm. The staff were friendly and attentive. There is a good choice of meals to suit all tastes. Some vegetarian options. The ice cream and cakes selection looked amazing but we were too full to order anything maybe next time. Kim was amazing when she looked after us.

Lovely place, great atmosphere, nice and busy. Very friendly, helpful staff. Only 20 minutes wait for food even though it was busy. Some in my party had carvery which was fantastic, others ordered off the menu. Separate Gluten free menu with lots of food on offer. Vegan and vegetarian options also. Huge, gorgeous, cakes for pudding, far too much to eat for one, good to share or take home. Forgot to take my phone, so no photos, such a shame.

Enjoyed a carvery meal with family. Heathfield was very busy, as you'd expect with it being Sunday around 3pm. We were greeted as we entered and sat straight away. Table was clean and ready for us. Service is not as attentive or personable as some restaurants, due to the weight of visitors. However, their operation is well run - so its not needed. We didn't need any help, but if we had, there were plenty of staff buzzing around & happy to help. Carvery was very well stocked, all dishes brimmed with vegetables, potatoes and gravy and 3 roasts being carved. Food tasted great, portions are perfect - you're given your meat and a Yorkshire Pudding. You simply add whatever extras you fancy. My only criticisms would be nit picky. Given they were so busy, had plenty of staff working their backsides off and taking into acvount the very fair prices - £10.99 for a standard Carvery - a right plate full - I can only award 5 stars and ignore any minor gripe I may have had.

Such a comfortable place for me and I really do not like going out to restaurants, anxiety agoraphobia and whatnot. The food is fantastic, reminds me somewhat of my nans cooking but of course, hers was better. Your chefs and staff are very good and hopefully they enjoy it as much as we enjoy it because it shows.

Ordered the fish and chips via the app and for a Greene king it honestly wasn’t bad. Here’s what I got for £13ish. The peas were a bit hit and miss as it had hard bits inside but overall it was good.

I'm very disappointed. Its been a while since we last visited and thought it would be a safe bet. Upon ordering, we didn't recieve any drinks. After finishing a starter I went into collect my drinks and they couldn't find my order ticket. (Got there in the end.) Once my main arrived (9oz ribeye) it was very well done after asking for medium. The mushrooms were black and burnt and the peas were flat cold. I sent the food back for the first time ever in my life! On the 2nd attempt, the steak was cooked medium as requested however quality of meat was shocking. Very stringy/grisly and chewy. There was also no improvement to the mushrooms or peas on round 2. I would have sent it back again if it wasn't for seeing how stressed the waitresses were despite it appearing to be quiet, I ate what I could. The only saving grace was Waitress Kacy who insisted on checking we had everything as it should be and seemed to share our frustration.

We came for breakfast this morning. When we first walked in we was greeted politely by Jason. We wanted some waffles, pancakes and orange juice but they didn't have any in stock!!!!, so we chose the buffet breakfast and apple juice. The buffet it's self was very clean and Jason kept on tending the buffet to make sure it was clean and tidy. They kept items filled up but the eggs we're pretty slow at coming out. The food was nice but the scrambled eggs we're absolutely nasty, it was like eating tasteless jelly, very VERY watery. Sausages are nice and the bacon is grilled so it's really good. I only wanted one cup of tea but it would have cost 2 pounds as it was refillable but I couldn't justify 2 quid for one cup of tea so I didn't go with the hot drink option. The young lass who was working this morning was very polite and bubbly :). We will be back to try the carvery next week. Hopefully it's good! Always give a place another go!.

After sitting down at 6:30pm the waiter announced that there was no carvery as the meat had gone under temperature. No vegetables were available either as they were going to dispose of them. We ordered off the menu which we found very mediocre at best. It's was possibly a one off.

Carvery was lovely apart from no cheese on cauliflower cheese! Fish supper was a bit dry. Cakes delightful...consumed far too many calories but it was a birthday outing so who cares. Service was good even though it was really busy. Nice atmosphere but a little crowded not much distance between tables

I have just been to The Heathfield Farm for lunch. When it was suggested a few days ago I googled it and there were a lot of negative comments. So as you can suppose, if you know me at all i like fine dining. I went with a little trepidation as to what it would be like. Judging from the car park it was obviously busy. I opted for the carvery and wow it was wonderful. The plates were hot the food delicious. Service was speedy staff pleasant were were not bothered by then checking that everything okay until we had nearly finished. This is my kind of place and would love to visit again. 5🌟 from me job well done I would have 2 complaints however 1) no bread sauce. 2) I ate too much lol

Great place for families and for a nice lunch out. Food is always great and never had a bad meal. 10/10 to all the staff always willing to go out of their way for the customers.

Friendly staff, quick service. Went for a carvery and came back another day for the breakfast buffet, both meals were amazing. Good prices too. If you want to treat yourself to pudding the cakes are delicious and plenty of flavours to choose from

Visited this pub restaurant on several occasions with Hub and family for a carvery, good food and atmosphere, traditional English puddings, drinks average price. Also a good selection of giant fresh cream cakes in a display cabinet. Spacious seating areas, friendly staff.. Clean Toilets.. Fairly large car park with adequate parking spaces.

Our server, Noah, was great. Table cleaned when seated, and although we didn’t really need his attendance (good job, as the servers are flying around because it was peak time to be fair) he did ask us if we were OK and needed anything. Busy session, but we were accommodated and the food was good and great value. All in all, no complaints.

Absolutely beautiful the carvery was fresh and OMG the cherry sponge was giant size. We all had a good laugh at this smallest appetite biggest dessert.
