😠 Disgusting service from the woman on the phone. Disgusting service from Dr. Mahmood. He's had a form to fill out for over a month now! I've chased and chased but getting no where. I think having to wait over a month with no sign of him completing is way too long. Very very poor. People often mention appointment, told, phone, time, surgery, service, text, prescription, call,

Had an appointment with a doctor on 16 feb, told i would get a prescription - still waiting. Also, I have to have injections every 3 months ( since 2013) Always told can not book until 2 weeks before its due. Every time I phone, there are no appointments. The receptionist is rude and gives me dates way after the 3 months required. Now just been told I can book in advance of the 2 weeks. Not helpful. Still no appointment.

Worst surgery to get hold of and dr mahmood only cares about finishing early and doing over the phone appointments. And if the phone looses signal or anything he won't bother to even ring you back and you have to make a whole new appointment. he is the most useless, inconsiderate doctor in kirklees and honestly don't know how he has a job!!!! The receiption staff and other doctors and nurses are amazing and pick up his faults!

I have no issue with receptionists or nurses. Having said that Dr Mahmood is the worst doctor I have ever had to deal with. His patient care is none existent if he chooses to be there and unfortunately the medical secretaries are totally unable to get him to provide me with the letter I need. Under Dr's Fox and Stringer this was a good GP practice now Dr Mahmood just doesn't seem to care at all .

Getting hold of any department is ridiculous both myself and my daughter rang appointment line she was queue position 9 then after 40mins!! On phone got to 1 said hello line went dead . This happened twice. I rang other line option was queue position 2 was still that 35mins later. Been trying for 2days same issue. Absoloute disgrace. Suggest more telephone staff required.

I had an appointment for a blood test on Monday 28th March 2022. I had a reminder sent on Sunday via a text. As I was full of cold and had a cough that had started over the weekend, I clicked the NHS link in the text to cancel the appointment, and it told me that the surgery would be notified. Next day another text message came through to say I hadn’t turned up for the appointment, suggesting the surgery hadn’t been told of the cancellation! I couldn’t ring up last week as I couldn’t speak without coughing over the phone, so today on rebooking the appointment I asked about the cancellation. It was obvious that it had gone as a black mark against me, so I told the receptionist what had happened and it was obvious she didn’t believe me and nor did whoever she had gone away to ask about it. She said her manager would be reviewing it and so I asked that they let me know the outcome. A few minutes later I received a text asking me for a screenshot of the cancellation. So I sent it through. This is the wording I got back a few minutes later -“ Dear Mrs Abbott, Hi, as i can see that it says you've replied i will remove it this time even though it's not come through thank you for sending the picture. Thank you Parkview Surgery “I will remove it this time?!!!” - I cannot do anything other on a weekend than use the cancellation system that you have provided me with! The fact that it hasn’t come through to you is not my fault and needs checking at your end to ensure it does work properly! I do not mark a habit of cancelling appointments and this was cancelled timeously using your mechanism. It’s really awful that you go down the route of not believing people and then when it’s been proved that they’re telling the truth you then don’t have the good grace to apologise and say thank you for notifying us so that had our system worked, we could have used your appointment for someone else in need of it on a Monday morning!!!

Absolutely terrible. I had a telephone appointment Monday, was told my prescription would go to pharmacy and would take up to 2 days. I checked Thursday & Friday at the pharmacy and no prescription. Rang drs and they told me the pharmacist had passed this onto a dr who was on annual leave!! So it never got actioned. One dr once said to me, what do you want me to do about it?! No wonder people just go straight to A&E or not bother at all with service like that. The nurses and healthcare assistants are lovely though. Told to wear masks for vaccine booster, however the guy doing them wears his on his chin!!!!

Getting through to speak to a receptionist is impossible as the que starts at person 3 but as you get to que position one the phone line disconnects. This used to be a very good surgery. When you can get to see the nurses they do a great job. The booking system is rubbish.

Fantastic surgery. Been with them 11 years now and can’t fault them. They were very good before the Coronavirus pandemic and have maintained a great service through the pandemic. We have always been able to get a telephone appointment and quite often a face to face if needed. We would highly recommend the surgery and it’s staff.

I can be waiting up to 40 minutes at queue position 3 trying to get hold of reception to book an appointment. Because sometimes it takes that long, I use the online service and send a picture of my problem instead. Then usually within a day I usually get a call back from one of the doctors to discuss the picture/what to do about it and get sent a prescription. However, the other day when I did this, the only phone call i received was from the receptionist telling me that the doctor has prescribed me some random tablets but not written down what he thought it was??? So I was prescribed some random antibiotics which weren’t even for my issue when i searched them up and read about them. Seems that they’d rather just fob you off with anything so they can go home early.

3 times this week I have been promised a phone call at a designated time. 3 times, it hasn’t happened. The customer service at this surgery is diabolical.

Have no confidence in the doctors they don'tread notes on you and have no time for you., The admin staff working there don't seem to know about handling personnel data reqest losing letters along the way. It use to be a good practise years ago but is very bad now.

Avoid for travel vaccinations - online form doesn't work so you waste a month waiting for a call back. When you do fill the form in they take 4 weeks to get a phone interview to discuss which jabs you need. Absolutely pathetic

I tried to register as I need GP assistance, but was unable to as I don't have and cannot afford photo ID. This is a classist policy. To make it worse, the receptionist is awful and also refused to help people ahead of me in the queue, even a lady who needed her medication urgently. Shocking, I wish termites upon their practice.

Received a text asking to send my blood pressure via a link to them, no matter what I tried I couldn't get my date of birth to work, I rang reception she asked my details then told me to drop details into them. This I did following day then found out it wasn't my blood pressure they wanted but my wife's. I asked why can't you just put a name on the text but she said I would have to ring to find that out every time I get a text, I did ring you and you told me to bring mine down.. no answer just a doh look. What a waste of time.

Don’t answer the phones. Can’t book appointments on line because there’s never any available and if you’re lucky enough to get an “emergency” appointment by waiting at the doors at opening time the GP is unsympathetic, unhelpful and dismissive 😞. No wonder hospitals are so overwhelmed!!!🤬
