While Windjammer Villa Resort is quite lovely and has attentive and helpful staff, there are issues... initially Windjammer was built as a 5 Star resort, it is far from that. It takes a management that understands how much teamwork it takes between its staff and its office to 'get the job done. The restaurants are middle of the road 'family style' cooking and could and should be much better. The beach is an issue...Much if the sand is so compressed that it is quite solid to walk on. Why it has not regularly been turned is a question, to do so would give it that nice loose sandy feel, that we all like. New Years Eve firework display was quite nice, however in the morning by 11am, I was at the point of the beach where I like to go and it still had yellow caution tape wrapped around the trees and the boxes from the fireworks and the wood boards used for the staging platform, piled up awaiting removal. A quality resort would and should have made sure that removal was immediate. There are issues with some of the too bright lighting around the pool area at night when dining. Way too loud music, most often to accommodate staff, is an issue as well. All in all, a lovely resort that must up its game to realize the promise of what it promotes.

The beautiful island of St. Lucia is a bit of a second home for me. However, even though we have a home to stay in here, when my fiance and I come down, we often visit different resorts and hotels in different areas of the island. Windjammer views are spectacular. However, the rooms need some serious upgrades. Our bathroom didn't have a window, simply a place where there was a screen, but no ability to close anything, as there was no glass, making the bathrrom always muggy. The TV was extremely grainy and streaky, no matter the channel we put it on. The mattress was hard as a rock, and the bed frame was extremely noisy (if you know what I mean 😉). The food was good at the restaurants. However, the service was trash! The wait staff were extremely unfriendly, with no smiles and no kindness to be found anywhere in the restaurants. The other staff, however, were very welcoming. The main lobby is beautiful and the beach is stunning. The main pool is in dire need of being resurfaced. There were patches where the smooth blue pool floor was missing, and it was rough grey concrete exposed instead.

The Windjammer is such a unique and beautiful resort. The staff are so incredibly friendly and helpful. Darryl and Karen at the front desk took such good care of us! Darrly even went out of his way to help us sort out some issues with our airline which he absolutely did not have to do. Just impeccable customer service. Our room was absolutely stunning and had a beautiful view of the ocean. The food at the resort is delicious and we are so grateful for the kindness of their staff. Could not recommend staying here enough! Thank you so much!!

Beautiful resort with lovely rooms. The ocean view from our room was gorgeous. The room was cleaned everyday and very well done. We were able to sail a small catamaran (about 10ft) and it was included in our package. The grounds had beautiful flowers and trees. The food is definitely expensive but overall pretty tasty. The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety and was also included in our package. For those renting a car, the parking there is limited. There are about 20 parking spots.

all i have to say is WOW! the property is absolutely stunning, the people are so incredibly kind, and the beaches are pristine! My husband and I came to the Windjammer for our honeymoon and I am so happy we did! We met some great people! Shana and Kizzie made our trip even better. They have the best personalities and we looked forward to seeing them every day! They made our trip that much better! We will be back soon, and I HIGHLY recommend this resort! Papa Dons restaurant had some great music while we had our red snapper over squid ink risotto, and Dragonfly had a beautiful view while eating our to die for sea scallops! It blew our mind on how beautiful the property is, how amazingly nice the staff was, and how delicious the food is! Thank you very much to everyone that made our honeymoon perfect!

We were two couples staying at Windjammers in our early thirties. Looking for a relaxing beach holiday. Overall, we wouldn't recommend. We stayed in standard ocean view rooms. They did not look like they did on the website. The pictures on the website show a much more spacious room with two chairs and big beds. Ours felt more like a cave! There was a unit above with an internal door separating. This door was not very soundproof, so that was one problem! The furniture was all very dated and the room was small and dark. It just was not a comfortable place to stay! For example, there was just one bedside table. Little things sure, but they make a difference! The service was also lacking at times. Sometimes we had some really friendly staff, but at the restaurants by the beach, more often than not the staff just seemed a bit put out to help us and was often very slow! For the price and because it is supposed to be 4 star we expected so much more. For example, the glasses drinks are served out of are all plastic and stained yellow! The positives: - Spa was good we had a voucher included and took advantage and massage was really nice! - Beach is good! - Papa Dons on the hill is nice! Perhaps it would be better as a family location and when staying in a villa, but as a couple in the standard rooms, it was just quite disappointing and felt over priced for what it was!

Came here for a summer holiday with my parents and we were pleasantly surprised. All the staff were super friendly and attentive. We were also assigned a personal concierge who was super helpful. The resort is super modern and well equipped. Many sun loungers available on the beach along with 4 pools. On the beach service was provided allowing you to order food and drinks. Watersport was also included which was great as the Caribbean Sea is very welcoming. Would recommend bringing sea shoes as in some places it is rocky along with seaweed and sea urchins. However, in the designated swimming zone you are at less risk. It is also great for snorkelling. We also had a late check out, we were given a free courtesy room to get ready in for half an hour. However, if available you are able to keep your room for an additional fee.

I had an absolutely enchanting honeymoon at Windjammer Landing Resort in St. Lucia! The oceanfront villa provided the most breathtaking views, and the all-inclusive package made our stay truly hassle-free. The staff's warmth and attention to detail made us feel like royalty. From the delicious dining options to the relaxing spa treatments, every moment was filled with romance and luxury. We'll forever cherish the memories of our perfect getaway at this paradise.

My wife and I stayed at windjammer for our pre-wedding anniversary and the overall experience was great. The room had an amazing view and there was frequent cleaning of the room and restocking of items. The ambiance of the hotel is lovely and the staff are very friendly. There were quite a few activities to do during the day and there were many options for nightlife and dining. Our favorite restaurant was Upper Deck but the other restaurants offered a variety of different cuisines as well. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent resort! The hospitality and professionalism of the resort staff is so impressive. From the moment you arrive, you are made to feel welcomed and special. The resort itself offers a feast for the senses! It feels like you step into a postcard. I also appreciated the attention to details. When we entered the resort, were greeted with cold towels and a beverage (Rum Punch). While on the beach, the attentive staff offered fresh fruit and sorbets. Dinners at Papa Don's were a highlight for me! The food was delicious (especially the pasta and steak). Dinner at Upper Deck was also special, very romantic. The breakfast buffet offered every morning was also the best way to start the day. The villas, the beach, the live entertainment, the spectacular sunsets and the extraordinary food make this a very special destination and I highly recommend it anyone looking for their next vacation spot.

Wonderful week in February with friends and family! A beautiful beach with water floats and access to waverunners and catamaran tours daily. Each of the restaurants had dishes that my family and I loved and the house salad dressing was a discussion all week. Delicious! Papa Don's Italian was the group favorite. Rooms were amazing. We traveled with 4 families all with kids.... Some got private villas others got two bedroom units. Ours had a private deck lounge with incredible views. We spent one night at a friend's villa having a wonderful private dinner, catered and lots of rum. If you are traveling here as a family or with friends, you'll be hard pressed to do better on st Lucia.

We booked a three bedroom estate villa and did not stay. They do not put pictures on their website of the older decorated villas. There is a mention that some are privately owned and not all of them are as pictured. They are listed as hill side, but they are cliff side and there is a difference, especially that it means it is way too steep and long for a walk down to the resort. You have to call for and wait for a shuttle bus to pick you up or take you to your room. That can take some pleasure out of your vacation. The sweet lady who took my reservation did a great job of getting us a villa with a bathtub which was exceptional customer service. However, the unit was old and looked it. It was a cold and empty feeling space with a worn couch and mix matched old outdoor furniture. The tile in the plunge pool was falling out, and the bathroom shower tile was gross, and it was needless to say a disappointment from the description of a "modern villa". There are 30 steps just to get down to the front door and no one from the hotel took us to our villa or even gave us a map. We asked to park at our unit and there was a small space about 100 ft away. We were told that we would find it by the unit number 409. There were no signs at the turns and the unit numbers are not visible on most units as they are in the front doors which are mostly below the street level. We had to drive back down the cliff and back up 3 times to find the unit because the roads are single lane. Then carry all of our things down the stairs. I am waiting to hear if we will get any kind of refund. We did not stay because it was not as advertised and my husband's injury would not tolerate 30 steps each time he wanted to leave the room. Then you have to ride a shuttle bus with other people with very few I saw wearing a mask. If you book this resort, ask a lot of questions about where your room will be located and decide if you want to wait for a shuttle.

St. Lucia is beautiful - and the Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort is the perfect spot to enjoy this wonderful country. What makes the resort special is the staff. Everyone is attentive, personable and interested in making your stay a great one. We are in a four bedroom chalet that is well appointed and comfortable. The food is fantastic at Windjammer - plenty of variety and always good. I highly recommend the Spa - another five star experience. Owned by Canadians, it has that friendly Canadian appeal... If you are looking to book a little taste of paridise - then come stay at Windjammer!

We have just returned from a family Christmas at Windjammer Landing and it was one of the best vacations we've ever had. Usually there is something to complain about when you're on holiday, but not this time. The whole property is immaculately clean, the private villas are superb (most with their own private pools) and the food was delicious in all the restaurants we dined at. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to an Estate Villa and it was by far the best accommodation we've stayed in at any hotel we've visited. High up on the hill we had the best views of the ocean. All the attached photo were taken from the Villa. Stunning! We also had a private concierge assigned to us - Nage - who provided outstanding service throughout our stay. He gave us his direct WhatsApp number and was in constant contact every day to check if there was anything he could do for us. Thank you so much Nage! We miss the Windjammer family and St. Lucia so much already. It has definitely left a mark in our hearts and we can't wait to get back there one day. You will not regret your stay!

My mom and I stayed at the Windjammer for her birthday and we only have amazing words. Every single person we spoke with was kind and so helpful. We truly couldn’t be more grateful for the experience and memories they left us with. The manager by name of Lenton (I believe) was so sweet to us! That gave us a lasting impression. We travel quite a bit around the world, 4-5 times a year and we can say that we never received this type of customer service before, ever. No other resort will ever do Windjammer justice for that. Thank you all. Although, it is hard to say this but Ariel from the beach club (towels) was rude. This was my first encounter with someone with a terrible attitude on the resort. I asked for a third beach towel, she heard my request and yet wrote down 2. Until I asked for a 3rd again, she proceeded to give me major attitude telling me that they only give one per person. This is completely understandable if it is policy but two things, one: she did not have to roll her eyes and be rude, second: it is not like there was a low count of available towels. I paid to be at this resort, I paid to be a guest, I do not deserve to be spoken to poorly when I have never spoken to anybody on this resort, much less this island that way. Along with that, another beach club worker let me take 3 towels on the previous day. If this is a policy, it needs to be enforced between all workers therefore this will not happen again in the future. It’s confusing first of all; and second of all, just rude on Ariel’s part. Other than that, every single worker was so kind. From the front desk, ambassadors, servers, beach servers, housekeeping, valet, taxi. Special thank you to Ernest & Renee from front desk, Lawson from taxi service and Trisha from beach services. All of my thanks and love to you all for making our experience a wonderful one. The good always outweighs the bad. I will be back for sure!

Amazing hotel and experience! My family and I went for my 25th birthday and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. Great food, great amenities, and the villa we got couldn’t have been better. Will definitely go back and have already recommended to all our friends!

The Windjammer was an awesome experience! I would definitely recommend bringing kids, it is an awesome family experience that your kids will never forget! The food was amazing and there was so many restaurants that you could chose from, with a variety of foods and different menus on the resort! For example sushi, any seafood, almost any meat, salads and so much more that I can’t name of the top of my head! The service was excellent and extremely helpful! There were so many activities that you could do on the resort, for example, paddle boarding, water skiing, tubing, sailing. And there were also a lot of beach games like table tennis (ping-pong), cornhole, jenga, Connect four, and hillbilly golf. There were also many excursions that you could book through the hotel. I recommend doing Lewis’s boat excursions. In that you can do a volcano, mud bath, go in a waterfall, and go snorkeling in a coral wreath which also includes lunch. I also recommend getting the all inclusive, it is worth it in the long run. Overall the Windjammer was an excellent experience!

It was an amazing experience! Starting from how beautiful the resort and the beach is, finishing up with amazing service! Everyone is absolutely nice and kind, very helpful and caring! Spa experience was wonderful! The food at the restaurants vary, but we recommend having an all-inclusive option, as there’s not many options around the area and the resort is located in a very secluded area. Hotel provides some water activities for free, we tried wake boarding, and chilled on the water for the most of the times! Pools are also amazing, hotel is family friendly, so lots of kids were having the best time of their life! We had Villa that was high on a hill which we loved so much because it was so so peaceful! They provide shuttle to get around the area! To sum up the experience - it was lovely! Highly recommend staying here!

Had a wonderful 7-day vacation at Windjammer last week! We stayed in 2 villas, which were absolutely beautiful, with en suite bathrooms, kitchens, multiple balconies, and pools. The beach had many loungers with a volleyball court, a swimming section, and free water sports. The staff were all super friendly and helpful! And the food was delicious with variety in 5 restaurants, including a steakhouse, Italian, seafood, and mixes. Would love to come back and would highly recommend staying here!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Windjammer! So many fun activities for the kids, the beach is the best that we saw on the island, the restaurants had a great variety. By far our favorite vacation yet!

Overall, my experience at Windjammer was positive, but this place seems very overpriced for what it is. If you enjoy being on the beach or at the pool for hours a day, then you will like it. But you basically spend over $2,000 to spend more money on food, drink the spa, and motorized watersports. You can get the all-inclusive package, but it's a lot more expensive, and frankly, the food sucks. Besides getting fresh fish, the food doesn't feel authentic to St. Lucia at all. The breakfast was included in our package and was the best food available. The actual accommodations were very nice and always clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. If we ever came back to St. Lucia, we would stay somewhere else that is more affordable. We just couldn't justify spending any more money on excursions because Windjammer is so expensive. We visited St. Lucia for a wedding and decided to stay where everyone else was staying. Windjammer is for the wealthy, and we are not wealthy. Also, as mentioned in a previous review, we booked with a $250 resort credit, and I had to fight 2 people at the desk to get it put on our bill. They acknowledged that there was a deal, but because we didn't have proof on our end, they tried not to give it to us. We had a receipt with absolutely no pricing, and we never got an email with the breakdown of what we were supposed to pay. I had to go full Karen, and finally, a manager gave the credit to us.

We stayed at Windjammer for our last two days in St. Lucia following a friend's wedding weekend. This was the perfect place to stay as our last stop on the island. We laid on the private beach to decompress and ordered drinks from a very welcoming server. The beach was clean and the entire staff was so friendly. Check-in was simple and the property appeared to just go on and on - breathtaking views around every corner. I cannot recommend Windjammer enough!

Resort was very beautiful. One of the best beaches I’ve ever been to in the Caribbean. The workers were very nice and food was excellent. The only cons i have are a) a shuttle is basically required to get around the resort and b) the restaurants at night are all open with no fans so it gets very humid and hot. Overall a pleasant experience

Our trip to St. Lucia and staying at the Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort was amazing! The entire experience, from the villa we stayed in (had such a gorgeous view), to the incredible staff who were friendly and professional, the services at the spa and to the Kids Club. Our kids had so much fun and asked to go back everyday! The staff were so great with our kids. Being able to drop them off so that the adults could have some kid-free time was awesome. I would go back in a heartbeat and already thinking about when that would be.

The best resort I have ever stayed at before by far. The service is amazing from the servers to the landscapers. You can tell all of the employees have a passion for their job and making sure gusts have the best stay possible. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice, clean, and big. The resort has 5 restaurants and they are all incredible as well. I would definitely recommend getting the all inclusive package because the price of food and drinks adds up per day fast. Compared to the other resorts this is the best location on the island. It has a dock that all of the excursion boats will pick you up from. The resort is also super helpful in arranging you a taxi if you want to go somewhere. Overall, I had an amazing experience at the windjammer and I highly recommend it!!

The staff are so incredibly friendly, always personable and go above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful experience. The Accommodations are luxurious and the food is absolutely delicious with a lovely creative plate presentation. The beach and water are paradise. Highly recommend as Windjammer has exceeded my expectations It’s my second time here and I will definitely be back….. A big thank you to everyone for a dream vacation!

I stayed at Windjammer for 7 nights and I felt like in Paradise. I liked very much the spectacular view in all resort; the vibe of the place and the friendly and helpful stuff. The food it's very good and diverse and at the SPA services are excellent. I really enjoyed the concert on the beach and the fireworks. I didn't missed any sunset from different points in the resort. We had a great experience at Windjammer and truly recommend the place!

First time at Windjammer Landing. Had an absolutely wonderful experience. Our villa was recently renovated and was tastefully decorated. Unbelievable view of the ocean from our private terrace and infinity pool. The food at all the restaurants was excellent and the service was prompt and very friendly. The staff made it a point to address us by our names which made the whole experience feel particularity personal and welcoming. The beach was very clean and was protected so the water was nice and calm for swimming. The nightlife was great due to the many on beach events (fireworks and shows) and the very talented local singers and musical performers. The resort is undergoing a few renovations, which look to be absolutely stunning, but it didn’t impact our stay or relaxation at all. An outstanding resort. 5 out of 5. I can’t wait to return and I would definitely recommend this resort.

We had a great stay here. The staff and experience was really nice. They were doing some renovations and the accommodation exceeded our expectations. The drivers Kerry, Miles and Desmond were really nice and made sure we were always good. I have no complaints.

Just returned from my first visit to The Windjammer. There really is nothing I can fault, from the staff to the food everything was excellent. Staff were so attentive and friendly and service was to an excellent standard in all the on site restaurants. The resort itself is beautiful, stunning beach and pools, everything was kept very clean and the views from the villa were stunning. Day trips from the hotel are available and I also highly recommend these. Really does feel like a home away from home and can’t wait to return!

Great all inclusive hotel for couples, families and friends. Beautiful and relax beach. Some pools where you can swim, 4 restaurants and bars and a lot of things to do. The stuff is so kind and helpful. Views are great and the hotel is close to many sightseeing of the island. As well, the hotel has a dock where many tours/boats depart.

Had great family time, enjoyed the sights and beach. Room was not up to par, water scalding hot, room phone did not work, hot tube ran on and off like it was possessed. Good entertainment, friendly staff and good food. Papa Don's best restaurant, very good food and top notch customer experience.

Beautiful place, sunsets & beach. Papa Don’s restaurant amazing service. Abundant mosquitoes but that’s not the fault of the resort. Fortunately I stayed all inclusive otherwise somewhat expensive.. but Rodney bay nearby so plenty of other choice. Enjoy the shuttle rides up steep inclines to your villa. All in all a great experience, thanks to all at the resort.

My wife and I brought our 13 year old granddaughter for a 5 day stay, should have made it 7. Our two bedroom, ocean view, mountain suite was simply breath taking. Walking up and down the mountain can be a workout, but plenty of vans to transport you back on forth. The resort staff were excellent and so attentive to the guests. The restaurants were scenic and the food was very good. If you made a selection you didn't enjoy, they insisted you try another dish. The breakfast buffet was to die for, one of my favorite times of the day. The resort has everything available to keep you busy or relaxed with a great beach, swimming area and plenty of bars. Get your towels out early to reserve a lounge with umbrella cover, the sun is hot. Yes, there is a rocky area around the water hammocks and there's a sign to warn you. We planned a couple excursions, catamaran and horse back riding. We reserved them weeks in advance, however you need to confirm and get a ticket for each excursion. While the resort recognized our horseback excursion I neglected to get a ticket and in the end missed out. Each day was so enjoyable with too many fun moments to write in a review. We had a great time and would certainly return, my granddaughter stills wants to do the horseback riding.
