This is an amazing waterfall at Uluguru Mountains, from Office ya Halmashauri, approximately 5km, 1.5hr hike going up depending on your speed. Always recommend the hike because of the views, the cultural interaction and the feeling of refreshing water after a long walk. The entry fee for Tanzanians is 2,000/= The tour guide charged us 10,000 per person but might be definitely cheaper in a larger group. Usually packed in the weekends. Bodaboda from Halmashauri charges 10,000/= but 15,000/= if they wait for you.

Very nice falls and we can get very good fresh fruits like strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberry and Banana, many other fruits... but only to reach the falls will have very rough road around 3 km.

Beautiful! 2000 shillings entrance for locals, and about 5 times that for foreigners. Only accessible by foot/motorbike and quite a steep(!!) climb, but worth it once you reach the falls. Approximately 15 minutes by bike up from the regional commissioners office building. Waterfalls are on 3 levels, it's a short walk down to the 1st falls, then again to the 2nd. Riskier/slippery path down to the lowest falls and there have been a few accidents recently.

A nice waterfall on the edge of the forest. We went there on the back of a motortaxi and they dropped us very close to the waterfall. We had to pay entrance fee and got a ticket. I think the woman who collects the fee is not always there, she is just sitting on a bench near the waterfall. After our visit to the nice and clean falls (nobody else was there on Wednesday, no garbage) we walked back downhill to Morogoro. Walking down is easy, walking up was too hot in november (> 35 degrees).

To be honestly, this place is breathtaking. The water is cristal clear and clean, the surrounding ecosystem is so stable and attractive, and one thing I love the most, at this place the climate is totally different from other places at uluguru mountain, and for those swimming fans like me, at this place you are allowed to take a swim only if u can in "cold water".

Climate change is getting serious, very low flow currently with no rainfall compared to past years. The easiest way is by using Bodaboda, hiking also is possible.

Walking upto the waterfall is bit tyresome. But the place and atmosphere are excellent... I enjoyed choma waterfalls. From morogoro if it is not raining you can go by motor bike. And you can park your motorbike on the way then go by walk upto the site. You will get water and soft drinks even on top of that mountain.

I enjoyed it a lot, but you have to ride on boda boda to reach the top of the mountain which you'll find at the entrance. They will charge you 10,000 for a return trip. There you'll find fresh Strawberries, Raspberry and Red berries. The water was clean and cold.

A majestic experience. A home to beautiful, welcoming people. A sort of paradise. A gorgeous school halfway up. You can ride up or walk up; I suggest walking and taking everything in. I feel blessed to have seen it.

It's not easy getting to Choma waterfalls, that has to be said. But using a tuktuk motorcycle rider will get you there. Even though these guys are heroes on the slippery path to get there we had to walk the last part because rain had made the narrow road very difficult to ride on. The tuktuk riders went with us and were nice enough to show us the way and make some pictures. The waterfalls didn't disappoint, but also there were some beautiful panoramas with a view on Morogoro. I would advise you to wear shoes with profiled soles if you want to go there.
