Great atmosphere. Rotisserie chicken served fresh. I expected it to be like Nandos Peri Peri Chicken spciy flavors with various sauces, but it's more like a variety of Rotisserie chicken, which isn't bad either.

Absolutely loved this place. Awesome selection of entrees and full rotisserie chicken, from 1/4 dark meat to a full chicken available to order. The food was impressively delicious and savory for as cheap and quick as it was, and the employees were super friendly and nice. Really enjoyed our stop here!! Warm comfort Peruvian food for sure. Loved their drink selection also with cinnamon based fresh in house made drinks that paired well with their cuisine. For the price, this style of food is unbeatable. Also have a super cool mascot alpaca too.

I ordered the Arroz Chaufa. This is, by far, it's one of the most delicious rice dishes ever. The combination of the sausage, rice, egg and chicken is amazing. I love the green sauce as it adds a bit of spice. I also ordered the Pollo with fries and rice. That one is not my favorite or something that I would order again. However, it is a popular dish from there. The last time that I ordered it, the chicken was dried out. However, they make their rice very well. The Yucca fries are good. It's either you like them or you don't. They can be a comforting food. I love the french fries. The cut is thick and I love how they fry them. Overall, a very good place for Peruvian food.

I WILL ALWAYS BE A BIG FAN OF ALPACA‼️ I frequent their Sanford location. But every location makes you feel welcome and like family. The food is always on point and the service is always great! I love this chain and will forever be a customer! I’m glad they have numerous locations. You’re never too far from one. The service and food is so great, it makes me say “GEE-WHIZZ”‼️‼️

I ordered 1/4 chicken (dark meat) with yucca fries and rice. They also have Inca Kola! One of my favorites! I highly recommend this place. The chicken is amazing, and dipping your yucca fries in their sauces is the best! The outdoor seating was nice too! This place reminded me of a meal I had when I was in Peru!

Amazing meal! I got the special of the day, the chop chop. Perfectly cooked and seasoned chicken with rice, Pico, and beans. They serve with their house made tostones which are like a plantain patty i think, totally delicious! I also got the Chicha Morada for a drink and it was amazing. I got both yellow and green sauces to accompany and they are both great and packed with flavor. I highly recommend this as a healthy option to eat out!

I typically get a whole chicken and a couple sides to go to feed the family on a Friday or Saturday night. I've eaten at the location once, where we actually dined there. Either way, doesn't matter, this place is great anywhere and anytime. Amazing flavor, great staff and good service. Highly recommended!

This was our first time here and we were very pleased with the chicken! Very flavorful and juicy. I ordered the half chicken. Prices were decent. I rated 4 stars because the chicken was delicious. The service hurt my rating because although your staff spoke English and we speak Spanish and English, there was a miscommunication between your staff members with our order. I ordered a chicha morada, but he charged me for a fountain drink. We asked for a bottled water, but I didn't get one and he didn't charge me for one so I had to go back and pay again for a water. Lastly, they prepared our meals to-go when we were eating in. Again, this all begins with the first person taking our order. We dealt with at least 4 staff members in total. We will return, the food is that good!

Usually Alpaca doesn’t disappoint but seeing my plate today it’s not enough to be worth $16 for a plate that doesn’t come with anything else.

The Peruvian grilled chicken is savory, crispy, tender and juicy. Even the white meats (chicken breast) are not dry at all. Excellent level of various flavors and spices.

Alpaca is one of my favorite go to restaurants for lunch when I am working in the area. The staff is always nice and very friendly when you walk in. Would definitely recommend it if you are in the area.

Got the Arroz Chaufa, was good but a bit bland until you add green or yellow sauce. Very filling. Fries were good. Unique drinks. Very friendly staff

This is by far one of my favorite places to eat for lunch. I've tried a lot of the menu and have never found anything that wasn't truly good food. They have daily specials. The photo in this review is the Wednesday Chop Chop Special. By far my favorite item on their menu. The Team is always so welcoming and the food is always consistent. Way to go!

This place is great. However I found a literal chicken spine in my plate and lost my appetite. Like the whole spine, it was like something out of a rendition of Saw involving poultry. The next time I went I kindly said to the man at the counter “can you make sure there are no bones specifically spines” so some people don’t like feet, some people hate the sound of chewing… i am not a spine girl and I worked in an icu, I have seen all sorts of organs and surgeries. My stomach is strong but we all have that thing that gets us. But the worker he just looked at me like I was crazy. As if this is a crazy request. I like my chicken like I like my men… spineless Other than that this place is awesome. So tasty, good price, quick, nice employees. I eat here like once a week. It’s so good nothing could really mess with that, I could find a beak and I’d still be back.

What a great find and it sits high on a mountain top. As macupichu, travelers will come from all over to try this new good eats! The scents from the wood chards are hypothesizing as blend into the cool mountain air. The chicken is full of flavor and to the bone! The skin is too good to pull off to the side, it must be consumed. The golly green giant would be proud looking down on the green beans here. Cooked perfectly, fresh and balanced with oils snd salt. I topped both my chicken and beans in their fresh homemade green salsa which is one of the best that I have tried so far! Mount your alpaca and claim to top of the mountain of good eats!

Really happy how everything turned out. Service was AMAZING. Chicken is perfect flavor and tender. Rice was good. Fries perfect. Corn was sweet. Will definitely come back

We love Alpaca chicken and this is our weekly stopping by place to grab dinner. We also love their unique dressing sauce there (both yellow sauce and green sauce are good). However, its been for a year none of this sauce/dressing cups will work with any lids. You can call it is really bad quality. So every time we do take out, I hold the take out bag on my lap in the car. And these sauce will leak all over everything. Same problem going on again and again.

The maduros (sweet plantains) are hands down my favorite go to side, hula fries are great when fresh and hot, and surprisingly the black beans over rice pack soo much flavor it’s crazy. All the sides are amazing. I buy the family meal, a whole chicken cut into 8 pieces and 2 large sides. Can’t go wrong with any of the sides to be honest. Lastly, the sauce. I am addicted to the yellow sweet tangy mayo type sauce and green jalapeño style sauce, tastes even better mixing in a little of the green sauce into the yellow. This chain originated from Mami Nora’s off wake forest and seems like they are opening more restaurants with the alpaca name. But people who have been around the Raleigh area for a while know it was first Mami Nora’s before they expanded and opened more stores under Alpaca. Either way, both are amazing and hands down my top 5 places to eat for take out or cheap dine in.

Loved their whole chicken, it is tender and full of flavor. But I wish we had not ordered the side salad. First they forgot the dressing after confirming trice about the dressing choice over the phone. Then I found plastic bag shred in my salad. I can totally imagine it probably came from the vegetable bag when they cut it open. Nonetheless, it’s unacceptable. Chicken only!

The fried rice (arroz chaufa) and plantains were excellent.

I'm just a tourist, but the food was so good! Good price considering I come from PR. Overall great! Would definitely recommend to go here if you have 4 or more people in your group.

Alpaca to rescue my cooking dinner blues. Dinner for 4 ( whole chicken cut into 4 w/2sides) with an extra side of their amazing arroz chaufa rice $35.

The food here is incredible! The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is nice and clean. Definitely try the yellow sauce found at the drink station, it’s delicious!

Less restaurant style and more serving counter style place than I was expecting, but the food great. The flavors were unique and the chicken was cooked well and I would definitely recommend trying the sauces available by the drink machines. Serving was quick and the food was reasonably priced, would definitely come again!!
