Everything in perspective; had this been a 2-start hotel, I would have been pleased. But "Hyatt Regency" should mean quality property and superior service. This was neither. The facility was VERY old and dark. It seemed clean but in need of a major renovation. You drive in on one floor; no signage, no bell at the front. You manage your way up to the escalator wandering around and spot the checkin. Two employees and easily 40 people waiting to check in. The rooms are dark. We booked a double queen but it had two full beds inside instead. It worked. Like I said, everything in perspective. If you want a nice bed and nothing fancy, I think you can find better and cheaper. If you want the Hyatt Regency experience, you won't find it here. Just failed our expectations.

Good hotel. Good breakfast buffet for $21. However, not even a free bottle of water for paying guests (restricted to elite members only). Drinking water fountains or bottle refill stations are also not visible in the hotel. The complementary airport shuttle service is good and frequent. Except that between 1pm and 5 pm it's not complementary.

Very nice and comfortable room and easy check in. I also loved the airport shuttle service which was a nice plus. My only complaint with the room is that the shower never got hot the water was barely warm making for a horrible shower experience after I had traveled 3 hours expecting a hot shower. Ate at the restaurant near check in and was so glad it was open late. Loved that there were a lot of healthy items and decent entrees. I was very pleased with the service and how the food tasted. Highly recommend this hotel.

Near airport so light sleepers should bring earplugs. Rooms clean. Staff nice. Only complaint was on-site availability for meals. Breakfast restaurant was great but only open until 10:30 a.m. That left only bar food for lunch and dinner. Probably okay if only there overnight but we were there for 4 days without a car (there for convention). Close to train. Easy access to downtown.

Hotel is nice and clean. Rooms are nice but bathrooms are small especially in king rooms. My only real issue with this hotel is that for how much they charge, you shouldn't have to pay extra for so much. Water is not included. Breakfast buffet is $20 and isn't even that good. I've had better buffets at other hotels for free. Also you have to pay for parking even when you are staying here. So basically you are paying an extra $50 a day for things that should be included with your already expensive stay.

The hotel looks pretty extravagant from the inside. The lobby, the restaurant, the cafe, they all look very fancy. The rooms themselves were very basic and inadequate. There was a very small "fridge," an even smaller safe box. They left 2 Aquifina 14 Oz bottles of water in the room with a tag attached saying "elite members only, otherwise there will be a $4 charge.. for a water bottle that costs $2 max? I dont think so. No microwave, yet they had 3 alarm clocks and a white noise machine. The ceiling trim in the bathroom looks like what they call "the landlord special", the sink and shower had very low water pressure, and the shower itself had an adjustable shower head, which would have been nice if it had more then two settings. The rooms cost over $130 a night and parking itself is $30+ which is a bit ridiculous.

Stayed recently for a conference. Good stay overall. Comfortable and clean rooms. Housekeepers do a WONDERFUL job and were friendly. Elevators get backed up because 2 of the 4 didn't work the whole week. Decent food options in the hotel but limited options in walking distance - all high priced tourist traps. $20 breakfast buffet is steep but not surprising for the area (good omelets!). Front desk staff are helpful and friendly. You could do worse if needing to stay right next to O'Hare, but if you're here for the "City" of Chicago, I'd look elsewhere.

We had a wonderful experience. As soon as you walked through the doors you knew you wasn’t in Kansas anymore (joking) the rooms are all very nice and clean and great accommodations. Every day the maid came and made our beds in the mornings and made sure we had clean towels. Everything was also clean in the lobby’s and elevators. We visited for the anime central and had an absolute blast. We definitely will be back next year. Thank you for having us and give us a wonderful experience.

Great location for conferences and large events and conventions. But not the best for tourism. I have been to this location twice for conferences and have been impressed with the hotel each time. However, there is no pool, sauna, hot tub, and breakfast is not included. The hotel is within walking distance of the L and from there it’s about a 30 minute train ride into downtown Chicago, which I highly recommend.

What an excellent hotel! The staff was so attentive and shared exactly how everything worked. Due to status, we received an upgrade and were so pleased with the fantastic room and views we had. Enjoyed breakfast the next morning in the hotel restaurant and it was fantastic (buffet style with an omelet bar). Highly recommended - this hotel went above and beyond in service and amenities!

It's a nice hotel to stay overnight if the flight is cancelled for whatever reason. The room is nice and comfy, the staff are helpful and the airport shuttle is mostly reliable. Other than that I do not recommend getting stuck in the airport if it can be helped. Water is not complementary and you have to request a toothbrush from front desk.

We hosted two events here recently, and I have to say this is the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept on in years. The mattresses are very thick, firm without being stiff, and I woke up rested ... a novelty for sure. Beyond the amazing bed, the staff here was excellent, friendly and efficient, the spaces are well thought out, and the proximity and walkways to the Donald E Stevens Center are very handy. We will definitely use this hotel for future events.

Rooms are nice BUT, The no room service and no Valet parking killed it. We definitely will have to choose another location next time. Bell man dropped off the luggage on the wrong floor (after getting a $20 cash tip) We went to eat at the restaurant but after no one helping us or acknowledging us for over 5 minutes we ended up leaving. Not really feeling it here. I had really high expectations for this hotel and even purchased the deluxe suite but the lack of service is a deal breaker.

Great place for work stay on a layover in Chicago. The airport shuttle is on time, runs every 30mins. The rooms are clean and comfy. AC could be cooler and shower is low pressure. The front desk staff is awesome, the fitness center is amazing and well equipped. The bar and restaurant are very nice. Breakfast was great as well.

Rooms are nice and relatively updated. Beds were comfortable. We had an issue with a neighboring guest that the staff took care of for us perfectly. You could tell they wanted to make things right and knew the best way to go about it. We greatly appreciated the service provided us. This was a park and fly stay for us and it all went smoothly. Would stay here again for concerts or another trip.

Very comfy and clean hotel. We were shuttled to the airport. Extremely kind staff. I noticed when I got to the airport, when checking the car seat/stroller, that I forgot our infant’s baby carrier in the room. I was so upset. I bought that carrier specifically for our trip. I called the hotel and the front desk was so helpful. They paged security to grab our baby carrier from the room we stayed in and sent the shuttle back to us to drop off. Highly recommend!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this Hotel and wanted to share my exceptional experience with the staff, particularly Nancy at the front desk. I had booked my stay through a third-party website, and upon arrival, there was a moment of concern as the staff couldn't immediately locate my reservation. However, Nancy's professionalism and commitment to customer service truly stood out. She went above and beyond to address the situation, ensuring that my needs were accommodated seamlessly. Not only did she locate my reservation promptly, but she also graciously allowed me an early check-in, making my stay even more convenient. Nancy's dedication to providing excellent customer service was evident throughout my entire stay. Her friendly demeanor, efficiency, and problem-solving skills made a significant impact on my overall experience. Kudos to Nancy for her outstanding service, and I highly recommend this place for its exceptional customer care. However, it's worth mentioning that the room and hotel interior seem to be in need of some makeover. Despite this, the location is excellent, especially for those close to the airport. The convenience of the location adds another positive aspect to the overall experience. I look forward to future improvements and another stay at this convenient and well-serviced establishment.

Can't say enough how easy it is to park and fly out of this hotel! The airport shuttle is always on time. Every 15min. Polite and effecient. They take their job seriously. Beds are comfortable and I get to leave my car in a parking garage in a Wisconsin winter for a week for 1 overnight stay. Can't go wrong! Stress-free way to start and end any trip. Shuttle from the airport brings you right back and you're on your way.

Great stay for the rooms and the efficient staff interactions. They lady who helped us check in was quite efficient and got us into ideal rooms. We were all there for a convention in November (that I forgot to rate during said time) and I actually broke my arm on property when doing something stupid. The lady working during the overnight team (I believe her name was Elizabeth? Or something else like that. I was too full of adrenaline to remember much) was helpful in getting me a taxi when I was having a hard time navigating my phone with the wrong arm so I could get it looked at. Glad she was there to do that! The whole event was great, the only problem we had was all the points for the rooms went to the wrong people. We asked to put them all under my account at check in but we're told it would be better to wait until check out. We inquired at check out as well and said we would have to contact Hyatt support to get it done. I contacted them and was told I had to wait 10 more days before we could start the process. 11 days later I called again and was told I would need to fill out 12 separate forms and get signatures and account information from all 12 people in order to get the points for the event... Needless to say, that rabbit hole was a nightmare that honestly could have been handled at check in/in the hotel before leaving. Other than the points hullabaloo and the broken arm, Id say it was a great stay. Looking forward to coming again this year!(and getting my points 😁)

Genuinely my favorite hotel in the area. I have been here twice and experienced an incredible trip both times. My first visit was during the summer months when I had to attend a convention and it was notably more populated. That didn’t lessen the luxury in my experience, the building is large and well accommodated to suit the needs of each guest. My recent trip was wonderful and I experienced a much more calm atmosphere as it’s a bit colder this time or year so there weren’t as many guests. I have only stayed in the suites but from the time I arrive until the time I leave the experience is grand and luxurious. I absolutely adore the staff as they are always so beyond friendly and welcoming! I cannot rave more about the staff and the food! I love the dinner menu, the bar selection and the breakfast! Breakfast is a stand-out experience in my book and I really enjoyed everything about it. (I recommend requesting the hot chocolate! THE BEST!) I will return again and will continue to do so every time I am in the area!

I have been to many nice hotels throughout the U.S. but what differentiates this one is the service. From the airport shuttle to front desk to restaurants staff, everybody genuinely ensured my stay is as comfortable and accommodating as possible. The food at the bar and breakfast place is delicious. The large atrium inside is beautifulI and brings lots of light. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a hotel close to the airport!

This hotel caters to conventions and events. It's not ideal for individuals or families. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but there are no in-room microwaves, and the fridge doesn't get cold enough for food storage. The common areas are frigid and there are limited food options in the hotel.

While looking for a hotel by the airport I came across this particular one. The room was very clean and the lobby was very decorative. The shuttle service was also really good and they run every 15 minutes. A+ experience. We will definitely be back when we fly out of O Hare

Overall good- rooms and hotel were clean, staff was nice. Pros- - shuttle to and from the airport as well as the nearest bus station - clean rooms and nice decor - good location to be able to get to and from the city and to the airport - the “proudly serving Starbucks” location downstairs was really good Improvements- - the mini fridge was not cold enough for food and was labeled to be used for drinks only, no microwave either - the breakfast offerings weren’t great. If you paid the $22 for breakfast it was more of a sit down environment and they didn’t have classic waffles/pancakes. Every other Hyatt in the area offers complimentary breakfast. - bathroom fan didn’t work - on property food offerings could be better - no grocery type store in walking distance

I was here with my wife and her parents for G-Fest and at the beginning it wasn't that bad. They were already getting kinda hammered with guests coming in and vendors coming in to set up for the con before hand. The check in lady was nice and we told her ahead of time that the second vehicle (my in-laws) would be showing up in a bit and we wanted to make sure they're parking pass was added to the room with us. She said ok. 2 minutes pass and my in-laws arrive and we talk to the lady about getting the pass added. (This is important for later) the rest of the time was fine until the day before we planned to leave. The day before my mother in law and wife went to the lobby to ask if we could use a luggage cart to put our luggage in the car that day so we could check out immediately in the morning and go (father-in-law and I were feeling horrible from something and could barely do anything). They seemed to have gotten confuse then waited at the front entrance expecting a car to come around. When we said the cars were in the deck they immediately got rude and said they can't go out there so we asked if we could take the cart ourselves and bring it back and they said no cause it'll get left in the parking deck and no matter what type of explaining they tried staff wouldn't listen. We proceeded to then drag everything back down ourselves to the deck and load up the cars. Slept to get up early the next day to leave. And the cherry on top. Come to find out about a week later when asking for them to do the parking pass they double charged the card for the room and had us furious. From what I heard that weekend it happened to everyone who came in more then one vehicle. The card issue did get fixed but the experience with the staff over a cart so we could make the luggage trip more bearable was just ridiculous. Basically only come here if your group is in one car and one room cause if not they'll screw it up.

The renovated tower rooms are very nice, clean, and comfortable. I especially like that there is no carpet which adds to the cleanliness (there are some rugs). There are convenient dim motion-activated lights under the beds so you don't have to turn on lights when waking in the middle of the night. Other perks: Conveniently located near O'Hare Airport and there's a shuttle that runs every 15 mins, even at late/early hours. Can use your cellphone as a room key. There was an issue of them giving our king bed room away to someone else and we ended up in a 2-bed room but they compensated us w/ a $50 room credit. In other areas their service was great, they delivered toothpaste and makeup wipes to our room.

Hyatt globalist perspective here. Great location, free shuttle from the airport that runs pretty regularly. Very large hotel; honestly it feels very 80s but I still liked it. The hotel was very busy this weekend with a couple different events. Breakfast buffet was pretty decent, good selection and omelette bar but some food could have been hotter and cooked better. There was a globalist breakfast line so we were able to completely avoid the line and get seated quickly. Also used the globalist lounge which was very relaxing but the coffee machine in the lounge which was constantly out of milk and we had to request it to be refilled frequently. According to the front desk the housekeeping crew may not have had access to address. No big deal overall. Starbucks located in the lobby as well so that's nice. Room was pretty spacious, was located in the premiere tower. Nice view, comfortable bed. Loved that the hotel is connected to the convention center. Park with trails close by, and shopping and dining is also very close by if needed. Very good attentive staff. Overall, very enjoyable experience and I would return again.

Getting checked in was a nightmare due to mistakes made by staff, as well as a lightning strike the night before our arrival that knocked out the electricity and hot water heater. I was here for a conference, and the full bill should have been paid by my employer. I had to give a credit card for incidentals, which is fine. They charged me $50 upfront but said it would be reversed if I didn't have any extra charges. Also fine. Then the next morning, I was charged $97. This morning I was charged $147. For what? Who knows. Certainly not the front desk clerk that I spoke with this afternoon. She said there must have been a glitch in how the system was processing my job's credit card, advised that she had done something to fix it, and that I could verify that the charges have all dropped off my card when I check out in three days. Fingers crossed they don't continue to charge me exponentially for every remaining day I'm here. Small note, the convenience shop in the lobby that's open until 1 am is a nice touch, especially since they serve real food (salads and sandwiches) and Starbucks the whole time. However, my friend needed pads, and while they had basic medicines, toiletries, and even condoms for sale, they had no feminine hygiene products to speak of. This is an absurd oversight. My king room (without sofa) is decent, and the housekeeping staff have been exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Proximity and 24/7 shuttle to the airport is also handy. However, I doubt I will ever stay here again on my own dime.

You’re gonna love this hotel. Walking in and you’re hit with stunning architect . We had a room on the 1st floor but it was still very nice. The tv is one of the biggest I ever seen in a single hotel. It was 55 maybe 60 inches. The indoor staff was friendly answer any questions you had. The only rude one was the parking attendant. Felt a little discriminated didn’t know where to park and proceeded to tell me to park behind some bus n I complied. Then as I was walking in, he was very passive aggressive towards me. Def some sort of judgment coming from that guy. Other than that very nice hotel def. worth the price. There’s a few things to do in rosemont as well. Close to the airport, casino, a few bars, the convention so will stay there again.

Rooms are spacious with windows from top to bottom, super comfortable bed, AC is working great. Big tv. The only thing I was disappointed with was the tiny bathroom. There was no space to put my cosmetic bag. Good breakfast, very attentive servers. Restaurant is ok, food was good, came out fast. Easy to find parking space, cost is 34 dollars per night. There is a nearby park to take a walk and relax.

I was surprised to find a last minute award booking on the day of Anime Central, when typically it's sold out months in advance. It was only one night but I received great service and even a suite upgrade when I requested one online. The staff looked so busy with others but they treated me very respectfully as I had Globalist status at the time, and even expedited my check in. I feel for the manager who had to help bus the breakfast tables but it was a nice gesture when he upgraded my room. No complaints about the Deluxe Suite, as it was more than large enough for my needs. The best perk was by far the included garage parking and in-n-out privileges until 11:59pm of the day of check-out. I definitely saved a lot between parking and not buying overpriced food at the convention by eating elsewhere.

  • 2/5 Angela S. 9 months ago on Google
The hotel itself is good, I stayed there for a convention that happened on-site and it served its purpose. It was nice to have a hotel room at the convention itself and the parking system is great too. The biggest thing I didn’t like about the rooms was no in room microwave. Everything was fine until I got a $10 charge on Friday after I had checked in and parked on Thursday. I didn’t buy food or anything from the hotel, so I really don’t know where this charge came from. I called the front desk and the lady put me on hold for awhile and told me they didn’t have access to the billing info, but that she didn’t see any history of a charge like that which ??? how can you tell me you see no history of a charge but be unable to see billing info at the same time. She gave me some random number and told me that was billing and to call that number for more info before hanging up quickly. I called that number and it’s some random guys number???? I still have zero insight on what that charge is. Also, I left something in my hotel room and I called the front desk to ask about it. The lady put me on hold multiple times, said someone would be going to the room to check, and left me on hold for over 10 minutes. I eventually just went up to the front desk in person where they gave me a key to go get what I left myself. After I got my stuff, I was still on hold with the front desk. They totally forgot about me. The hotel itself is fine but the front desk service is god awful. Actually ruined my day.

We recently stayed at this hotel, and we were impressed by the well-designed room layout. However, the room was uncomfortably warm for sleeping, as we couldn't adjust the air conditioning. They did send someone who was able to adjust the unit to our liking. The breakfast, though, seemed overpriced considering the options available. On a positive note, the staff was remarkably friendly and attentive. It's worth mentioning that the parking is located in a garage across from the rooms. Despite the minor hiccups, our overall experience was quite delightful.

A four-star hotel, and a four star experience. Overlooks and has the benefit of being the "Chicago" convention center for trade shows and fan cons for suburbanites or ones with moderate attendance with the benefit that attendees don't have to go too far from the airport (10 minute drive) or deep into the city. It also is a good option for travelers who are delayed or have to stay overnight. Customer service at the hotel check-in was great. Unfortunately they do not have a Regency Club - instead it's several co-branded restaurants, some with lackluster service (not entirely within the hotel's control, so I'm not blaming them). The John Portman-designed atrium is beautiful, and shares its design with several Hyatt Regency buildings throughout the U.S. The bathroom has a gradient compared with the rest of the room, but it does not have a floor drain, so if you have a room with a bathtub, be very careful not to flood it. In addition the toilets have a very industrial looking flush handle that's more commonplace in restaurants and public buildings than hotel rooms, but I'm not saying it's inferior, just unusual. The beds were comfortable and plush, as is standard. A few minor inconveniences were raised during checkout, such as the Chromecast being out and the water not being sealed, and they were brushed off. All in all, I would stay again.

Thank you for the great upgrade to room 1029 with the funky staircase and giant living room and also for that delicious soaked oats bowl at breakfast. We enjoyed our overnight stay before taking the shuttle bus to the airport.

We had a delayed flight from Munich to Chicago causing is to miss the Connecting flight home. This was the hotel offered to us by the airline (Lufthansa - about the only good thing for a first time flier). They offered us 2 rooms for a family if 4 and upon reaching the hotel, they went above and beyond by proactively upgrading is to a larger premium room with a king soz and pull out beds in couch for the kids so we did not have to be separated. They also offered to provide toll in beds but we declined....beautiful hotel, clean and welcoming. I would recommend

Just an amazing room at the top of the hotel. Two level suite with lots of room.... Lots of window area with a Southeastern view towards downtown Chicago. The whole area was decorated with very beautiful Christmas lights on the trees along River Road. What was especially nice was having a Starbucks that had food to go on Thanksgiving when you can't order from restaurants!

Staying here was like staying in a motel. The bathroom was beyond tiny and it was dated and gross! I’d never stay at a Hyatt again without checking out the room first but I was in a bind. The positive is that the service people were polite and were the only reason I didn’t give this 1 star. The common areas of the hotel were well kept but the room was a major turn off and I felt gross and uncomfortable every single night of my stay.

  • 1/5 Beth W. 6 months ago on Google
Shower is tiny. The shower head is up so high that it was next to impossible to adjust. If I didn’t want the shower water to hit me in the face, I had to stand with my back against the wall. I requested to move to a room with a bathtub but they wanted to charge me an additional $20 per night. They advertise they have refrigerators in the room, but then there is a sticker on the refrigerator saying that food is not to be stored in there because it doesn’t get cold enough. I put food in it anyway, and turned it to the coldest setting, and my food froze and became inedible as it was produce. I was taking a nap one afternoon, and the maid was having a loud cell phone conversation right outside my door and woke me up. The next day, when she was cleaning the room next to me, she turned the television in the room on loudly and kept the door open. It disturbed me greatly as I was trying to get work done. I do not recommend this hotel, and would not stay here again.

I stay here before. It's a good place. I enjoy their weight staff. They have indoor restaurant here that serves decent food, although it is pricey because of the hotel and location and being in Chicago. Overall I like this location. I use it for my sleep park fly when taking trips out of Chicago.

The hotel staff at the front desk are very kind. However the walls of this hotel are very thin. Could hear the toilets flush of other rooms, people outside in the lobby “howling”, the airplanes and other various things. I prefer and recommend Hyatt place, their hotel better blocks out noise and actually allows me to get a good nights rest.

I stay here often for work. Not only is the staff amazing - HUGE PROPS TO DANIEL at check in for going above and beyond for me- but the entire visit often feels like I’m at a resort. Beautiful property that has all you need. Close to many attractions and a short ride downtown. I have enjoyed every stay. If you can - spring for a suite- they’re amazing. Thank you Daniel and everyone at the red bar for treating me like a queen.

Nice rooms and the bed was very comfortable. Didn't enforce mask usage or ask for vaccine proof except for entering the bar area or breakfast buffet. Security monitoring wasn't wearing a mask and was very rude.

This was a fantastic one-night option! I got a fantastic rate on the room and it is an airport hotel so I will be taking that into account in writing my review. Knowing that it’s an airport hotel and most guests only stay for one or two nights, this was a great stay! This John Portman-designed hotel is absolutely beautiful and sparkling. I manage a commercial cleaning company so I am well-versed in cleanliness standards and procedures. I can tell you for a fact, the rooms and the hotel itself are super clean. Not only that, but the rooms are modern and cozy with great amenities. My only gripes are that the bottles of water in the rooms are $4 a pop, the showers are very small, and the in-house restaurant/convenience store are very very expensive. Other than that, I would highly recommend this as one of the best options in the area.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! I am literally shocked at how sparkling clean this hotel is for its massive size. I am flight crew and half my life is spent at hotels. I honestly think this is the best hotel that I have stayed at for cleanliness. All the carpets look like they were just put in yesterday, there is not a single spot anywhere on the premises that I saw. You can tell your room has been cleaned very well and nothing appears as if it were rushed to be cleaned. Gloria M was my gal, and she left a note in my room. I definitely gave kudos in the form of an email when I logged onto the Internet. Nice friendly staff and it’s always a pleasure to come back here. Thank you for everything!

I really enjoyed this place. Great location and the staff was so helpful to me when I stayed during the winter. Quick walk to the Blue Line and shopping and dining. The lobby is amazing and the rooms aren't that bad either. The only thing that I would change is the bathroom. It felt really small for the room I got but i'm not high maintenance so it didn't really bother me. Worth the stay and time and money!!

Overall the place was great to stay at, especially if there is a convention at the convention center because it is right next door. But, I gave it 3 stars only because when there is a convention in town you can't get a regular meal at the hotel restaurant, they have a buffet. The photo of the cheeseburger is their $6 dollar burger, which sits in one of those hot trays. The buffet breakfast was okay, with an omelet station but, $21 bucks isn't worth what you actually get. Overall the room and beds were very comfortable but, the restaurants in the hotel weren't satisfying.

I think this place is cool. Right next to Rivers Casino and the outlet. Come ever year for mine and others birthday bashes. They have a shuttle bus. Looks fancy inside. Great for formal attire. Hope you like heights because this place is huge. Balconies as well if you need to step outside take in the view. Parking is too much though. Gotta park off sight or car pool. Restaurants inside. No pool.

Staff were very friendly and quick for check-in/check-out. Our room was tiny and smelled strongly of cigarettes. There was no room service despite that being listed online so take note if you're worried about covid exposure. Bar staff was also very friendly. Shuttle was supposed to take us to the airport every 30 minutes, but we had to get an uber because at 6:10am there was still no shuttle and a large group of guests waiting to be picked up. Wish I had spent the extra money and stayed at the Loews.

Hotel is poorly managing COVID restrictions by not showing care for ALL guests and discriminating. Although I respect abiding by Cook county guidelines even though I disagree, as a globalist, I expected an option for my included breakfast and was simply given a pathetic excuse for no options for a guest without a “green sticker”. People walked all over the hotel and immediately outside of the restaurant unmasked, eating and drinking regardless of vax status so providing no free dining option for breakfast seemed a means to use the mandate to make more money in their cafe. A muffin or coffee could have simply been comped or a takeout option available at the buffet. So disappointed in the integrity of this hotel. Furthermore, my room keys were cancelled out over an hour before my checkout giving me another trip from my “tower” location and wasting my time.

Our experience was what you would expect at a hotel. The front desk attendant was friendly. The general public areas like the lobby and elevators were kept very clean. Our room had a very large television. I was surprised that we had a stand-up shower and not a tub as I had never seen that in a hotel before. It wasn't a big deal to me because I don't take baths anyway. The free shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion they provide are really nice. My only concern about my stay is that although we put the thermostat to 85°F, it still was extremely chilly. We normally keep our house at 68-70°F.

Had a great experience here for a convention. Everything felt clean and staff were super friendly even though it was probably a stressful big event. Loved the real plants along the walkways, and of course the super cool elevators!

The Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago continues to be one of the best options for events, conferences, and lodging in the midwest. I enjoy coming back here each year for our denomination’s (Evangelical Covenant Church) annual ministry conference. The rooms are nice, the staff are polite, and the hotel is aesthetically appeasing. It’s also very clean! I look forward to returning January 2023!

Let me tell you one thing that travel agents do not want you to know about. When reserving hotels use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ They easily have the best deals on hotels! Way better than using orbitz, priceline, hotwire. That is for sure!!! Had a great experience here for a convention. Everything felt clean and staff were super friendly even though it was probably a stressful big event. Loved the real plants along the walkways, and of course the super cool elevators!

Hotel does zero enforcement on mask policy at their workout facilities and many public spaces. As a frequent traveler to the area this is frustrating as layover times are prime workout opportunuties but not worth risking one’s health. One star only because rooms are ok. Wish they would be more considerate and concerned for their customers’ wellbeing.

This is the worst Hyatt I've ever been to. We never bother booking accessible rooms because my wife, whom has lupus and rheumatoid arthritis, can walk a reasonable distance and use an elevator. There is no elevator to room 259. She decided to drag luggage up that narrow windy staircase and almost fell, and this is the last time I book a Hyatt or a non accessible room. I've stayed in better $30 1 star middle of nowhere motels that were more accessible. I've always preferred to save accessible rooms for those that truly need them, but who knew there were stairs only access rooms in a Hyatt. I do want to be fair to the staff though. They were super friendly to everyone I saw them interact with, and it looked like there just went enough of them (not their fault obviously). My beefs are with whoever designed this abomination and the top of the food chain running this. The people on the ground have my sympathies.

The hotel is nice. Very pretty upon entry. Elevators are no joke! Very quick. Receptionists are quite pleasant. Concierge/ valet are rude. Parking is not included in your stay. Was here for one night to attend the ABS beauty show at the Donald Stephen's Convention Center. Nice location for that. Otherwise honestly, not too impressed. No parking in front while you check in.

My flight was delayed ended up stranded in Chicago airline paid for my hotel however cab sent me to wrong hotel ended up at this hotel spent over an hour on phone with airline trying to get them to switch my voucher to this hotel only for them to tell me go back to airport to get it fixed. Spoke to assistant manager at the hotel Haylee she got in contact with United and within 10 minutes it was switched!! Great customer service she saved my night because I was about to lose it! Hotel is nice! Bed was super comfy!

The room was clean, and the staff were nice enough. But there’s not a lot of security at the hotel and so much going on. I didn’t feel safe. Anyone can take the elevator and get to any floor. The premiere tower is located far from the lobby and somewhat isolated. Wifi is fine, location is close to the airport. There is no room service.

Not enough staff, huge lines at check in on a constant basis. No room service. No snacks or drinks in the room other than coffee. An 8oz glass of wine at their bar is $18 minimum. The bed sheets feel like cardboard. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Our flight got canceled by United and they placed us here for the night. Rooms are spacious and clean. Not much Bathroom amenities though. Location is great as it's a short 15 minute drive to the airport and they have shuttle busses that run every half hour.

Make sure to use Hoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any hotel. This web site will compare thousands of hotel sites and typically will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of my favorites in the area. I've been staying here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't be disappointed. The rooms are clean and the elevator is fun to ride. Wonderful place with great architecture and plenty of parking. You can use the sky bridge to get to the parking garage and even the near by hotels and Donald's Stevenson Convenient Center.

Building was up to date and had interesting architecture. That's about the only good. The breakfast was over priced and disgusting. My fiance and I got bites while we slept. We are not going to claim bed bugs until we go home and have a doctor look at them, however the bites did happen for both of us between the times of midnight and 6 am. We stayed Thursday _Monday. On the Sunday, the fire alarms went off around the building. Called front desk to ask what was going on. No answer. Went out to the hall. People were still eating breakfast, riding elevators and walking around confused. We went back into the room and looked off the balcony. Lone behold most the staff was across the street. They had been evacuated while the guest were left in confusion. For the price point , this was a really sad experience. Don't make our mistake.

The room was very clean, but the bathroom is very small for the price of the rooms. The overall hotel is spacious and nice to look at, but there could definitely be better signage for the front desk, restaurants, and parking as they were all difficult to find. There is a long walk from the parking lot to the hotel if you aren't using the valet. Overall the service and cleanliness was great and I was here for a business trip, but it would not be a great location for a family.

From the moment we pulled in to the facility we were welcomed by the friendly staff. Gigi made checking so easy and pleasant. She asked about the reasons for our stay and congratulated us on our wedding anniversary. She made our visit extra special. Every employee we encounter was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We stayed for the park and fly services but would love to come back for a longer visit. It was by far one of the best hotel stays we’ve had ever. From the beautiful decor to the amazing staff, it was a 5 star experience.

I have visited the Hyatt twice in the last couple months for cons my daughter went to. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Using the amenities and parking garage are easy. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a Starbucks inside that has small snacks and breakfast items and a higher end bar. I usually opt for the balcony rooms and they have beautiful views of the skyline.

Our stay here was awesome thanks to Gigi. She was very helpful with helping us solve an minor issue. The room was spacious and clean. They have a double bed balcony options rooms. The only problem I had was the room didn’t seem to warm up past 66 degrees. Also there is no valet parking on site. They have a Starbucks on site. Also the breakfast

I had such a wonderful stay here! The staff was so nice and accommodating to my needs. My room was very clean and upkept nicely. The hotel itself is beautiful and has some great dining options. The fitness center is really nice too. Location was awesome. Although it could get loud from time to time with planes landing, I was surprised at how relatively quiet it was at night. Very comfortable.

Clean, efficient, helpful! Room has noise machines, which was perfect for the proximity to the airport. Once it was turned on, we couldn't even notice the outside sounds. We stayed here during a large conference. The hotel was packed but the staff was still available, with little to no wait. Breakfast buffet was good for an in and out meal! No real food options nearby until after 5pm.

Had a client on May 6th who wanted to meet at neutral location. Hyatt provided everything I could think of. I was assisted by a lovely Front desk concierge. A Shorter beguiling woman with a powerful speaking voice and a lovely smile(she had pink nails). She gave me the option to upgrade my room as well as great customer service. Still waiting on email in regards to my stay. Executive wing is awesome. Room was great.

Remember to use Hoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your stay. This site will compare countless booking websites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of my favorites in this area. I've been coming here for years. If you stay for a few nights you for sure won't be let down. This is probably the most pristine hotel I've ever been in. Was here for a convention in July of this year. Hotel staff and workers were always helpful and accommodating. Bedrooms were always kept clean and beds were always made. Sleep was easy despite being so close to the airport.

We were in town for an event held at Rosemont Theater. This hotel was perfect walking distance. Breakfast offered at the hotel was great too. I don't know what the standard rooms are like, but in the future, I won't be paying the extra $50 per night for the upgraded room in the tower. Nothing wrong with the room, just didn't feel it offered anything worth paying extra for.

We chose this hotel thinking it would be a great quick option for a short night between flights. We could not have been more wrong. We waited more than 30 minutes for a shuttle to pick us up at the airport, then when it arrived it was standing room only. We saw 2, and in some cases, 3 shuttles pass for other hotels, including super-budget options. It made me wish we had chosen a cheaper, further out option because we would have actually gotten there faster! When we got to the hotel the line was very long, there were only two agents, and each check in took like nger than any hotel I have ever seen. We waited about 45 minutes. I had checked in online, but there was no instruction on how to get a key, so I still had to wait. The room appeared fine....but due to the delays with the shuttle and check in and poor communication, we hardly used it before leaving for our next flight. If you have a longer stay, I am sure it is fine, but in our case a bench at the airport would have been better!
