    I joined Des Plaines Body & Brain Yoga about two years ago and became one of Master Randy disciples. Thanks to his gentle guiding I was able to endure limitations of my own body during exercises. After few months of practice my body became much more flexible and much stronger, my mind also started to cooperate with me (most of the time:)). I’m noticing too that I'm changing the way I think about life, work, family. What I considered a challenge of daily life seems to be joyful task now which I welcome with appreciation and gratitude. This is the great practice and great guiding!

    JoAnn and Randy are great instructors and very pleasant people that know all of us as individuals and help to see what works best with our capabilities. I really enjoy the chair yoga class. We stand for some exercises and then sit in the chair for others. It's a good variety of exercises. We also are always offered an herbal tea after class and can chat with others. Very relaxing and warm environment.

    I recently moved to Des Plaines and found Body & Brain in Norridge through a list of fitness classes offered through my Health insurance. Body & Brain is a perfect combination of stretching movements mixed with focus exercises & meditation also some Tai Chi. Its a perfect blend for connecting to my inner self. I LOVE these classes, especially when the weather is nice and class is offered in the park. All my senses are awakened surrounded by nature - what a rush. Thank you Randy & Joanne so glad I found you!!!!! Peace and Love

    Body & Brain yoga and Tai chi was and still is what I need for my routine exercise daily! I started the program about 4 years ago and it was the best thing I did for my body, Brain and spirit. It has the variety of Yoga and Tai Chi and body stretching that strengthen my joints. It helped me to breathe better since they focus on breathing technique that it helped with aches and pains and stress relief. Thanks Randy and JoAnn for a wonderful job with a smile.

    This is a truly great yoga center with knowledgeable and easy going instructors, who offer multiple ways of self improvement. Classes are small, exercises diverse and the atmosphere peaceful. There's a lot of good energy all around! If you need a change, if you are looking for ways to understand yourself better, if you want to feel energized and be more flexible, then look no further than the Des Plaines Body and Brain Yoga.

    This has been a game-changer for me. I love this class. I was brand new to yoga when I first signed up so I didn't know what to expect but I'm sure glad I committed to joining. This is a great way to start your day. You'll leave this class relaxed yet energized and focused. There are life lessons to be learned here. I highly recommend that everyone gifts themselves this gift.

    I have been a member for 4 months and I can say that I feel the benefits of the exercise concept , with the help of excellent instructors. The classes consists of postures that tone muscles , improve blood flow and energize the mind and body , also meditation is very helpful . I'm really happy that Body & Brain became part of my life . Thank you!!!

    This was such a gem to find!! I had been wanting to try Yoga for many, many years and with kids, work, and just one thing or another, just never had the time to focus on "ME". I was also not aware that I had a center nearby in Norridge. The Center coaches Master's Myung Doh (Randy) & JoAnn Dickson are FANTASTIC! Since focusing on myself, I've been attending the weekly training schedules both online and in person. I have found this experience to be a truly incredible path and inspiration to challenge my body to the utmost. The exercises, Wow! I never thought that I could stay the course throughout completion. But, with the body, brain, and breathing techniques that I've been taught, I now am able to stay the course throughout completion. I have learned how to recharge my body with deep breathing exercises and different posture exercises. I loved attending the workshops (Omg.. the Finding True Self workshop was AMAZING!) and trying something new every time has been a wonderful experience. I now have increased flexibility, strength and have improved my overall health, posture, and alignment. I now know how to shift my focus from the busy and daily trends that life throws my way to the brain wave vibration exercise. so, if you're thinking about it don't wait any longer. Do this for yourself. I definitely recommend it. So, with that in mind, I definitely and proudly hand over The Body & Brain Yoga-Taiichi, Norridge, IL location 5*****. :) Nitza Correa

    Every class I attend I feel stronger, better balanced and more focused. Also I, as a beginner, I feel very supported and encouraged. The only problem I have is that the trainers are so nice I can't get mad at them when they push me to do my best. Very glad I joined!

    My experience with JoAnn was outstanding. I was able to find out something about myself that hasn't crossed my mind for my whole live. Even though one of my girlfriends has tried to tell me that, I didn't understand it until I've discovered it by myself with JoAnn's help. Thank you so much JoAnn!

    What a wonderful yoga studio with accompanying meditation/healing room! The smaller, intimate class sizes facilitate personalized attention and student interaction. Through Body and Brain practices, JoAnn and Randy fully embrace, exemplify and encourage healing, exercises and good health habits, as well as a mindful way of living.     JoAnn and Randy have created an oasis in their home, for you to come and relax after a long, stressful day. Their classes and private sessions provide much needed relief for the mind and body. They will welcome you with open arms and offer sweet tea after the class. Personally, I’ve been struggling with chronic disease and I was able to find the healing I so desperately needed. Forever grateful, I highly recommend their yoga classes!

    I love how calm I am at the end of a TaiChi class. Randy is knowledgeable and pleasant. The class flows from a warm up to the core, and ends with relaxation and tea. This is what I was looking for to renew my body and make it strong at the same time.

    When I came here for the first time, I felt extremely well and comfortable and knew that I would be there more often.     I was welcomed with open arms the minute I walked into Body and Brain. I inquired about how they operate and was signed up for my first class. I loved it and have been a member since.     JoAnn and I had a connection right away and I am so grateful she has been a part of my life’s journey. I have met with JoAnn for personal coaching for almost 3 years, it is the longest physical and mental health commitment I have ever kept. It has been life changing to meet with her. I have also had wonderful experiences in all my interactions with Randy, and with various Body and Brain workshops. It is worth well worth it to get started!!

    I came to Body and Brain yoga for exercise but what I’ve found was so much more. Not only are the classes helpful for staying in shape, I’ve noticed I’m mentally more alert. I have not been a yoga fan in the past but now I definitely have an appreciation for it. JoAnne has been instrumental in helping me understand what these classes can do for you both physically and mentally. I would recommend everyone try at least a few classes before you decide yoga is not for you. The Des Plaines center is perfect for me because it’s a smaller group and I didn’t get lost in the shuffle of a big class. Thank you JoAnne and Randy.

    I can only say good things about Body and Brain. When I went in for my introductory session, I was at first skeptical. However I decided to give it a try. After all, I could not get any worse than I already was. When I first signed up, I could barely move. I had severe sciatica on my right side and the left side too was very painful. I could not turn around to look over my shoulders when driving. I had to rely only on my mirrors. My knees were both very painful to go up or down stairs. Basically, my entire body, neck, shoulders, back, hips and knees where always causing me pain and to top it all off, I could not sleep at night. I feel like a new person both physically and mentally. I love Master Randy and Master Joann, they are amazing. They and the other members have become like my extended family. All I can say is give it a try, I am sure you will not regret it.
