UPDATE:
Just
about
impossible
to
contact
anyone
to
help
with
updates
or
other
problems.
Timezone
continues
to
be
the
most
one-star
arcade
possible.
This
is
a
follow-up
to
a
review
that
was
left
on
all
Timezone
pages
in
New
South
Wales
and
Victoria
several
months
ago
-
a
review
which
extensively
outlined
my
own
(and
many
others’)
dissatisfaction
with
the
business,
the
problems
associated
with
large
amounts
of
credit
that
has
been
loaded
onto
our
accounts,
and
the
general
reluctance
across
some
venues
to
improve
or
even
acknowledge
these
and
other
issues
outside
conversations
that
oftentimes
do
not
lead
anywhere.
As
customers
that
spend
hundreds
(more
in
some
cases)
on
one
or
two
games
at
Timezone
venues,
we
have
reached
a
breaking
point
in
our
frustrations
with
the
company
and
the
state
of
our
favourite
games.
We
don’t
feel
as
though
our
problems
have
been
adequately
addressed.
Firstly
(and
perhaps
most
frustratingly),
my
partner
has
had
her
Timezone
card
compromised
several
times,
losing
access
to
hundreds
of
dollars
that
she
loaded
with
the
intention
of
playing
games
at
nearby
venues.
This,
for
some
reason,
took
weeks
to
resolve
and
left
her
without
a
significant
amount
of
money
that
she
was
entitled
to
spend
at
Timezone
venues.
She
was
essentially
prevented
from
using
the
money
that
she
loaded,
and
this
issue
was
not
prioritised
or
addressed
with
the
urgency
it
deserved;
she
was
required
to
ask
around
for
weeks
until
she
came
in
contact
with
someone
who
was
actually
able
to
acknowledge
the
issue
and
assist
her.
This
happened
twice
in
the
space
of
six
months
and
we
were
fully
prepared
to
escalate
the
situation
further
if
it
happened
a
third
time.
Despite
claims
that
it
is
constantly
updated
to
protect
customers’
accounts
and
security,
the
Timezone
app
is
not
secure
at
all.
These
incidents
have
made
us
extremely
distrustful
of
Timezone
as
a
business
with
our
money
and
we
are
starting
to
hear
stories
of
others
that
have
had
their
accounts
compromised
or
are
unable
to
use
the
money
that
they
have
loaded.
A
separate
issue
that
has
been
persisting
for
just
over
half
a
year
is
Timezone’s
inability
/
reluctance
to
attempt
to
update
its
games.
We
have
tried
to
contact
Timezone
employees
/
managers
/
upper
management
on
so
many
occasions
to
assist
us
with
an
Internet
problem
that
has
affected
updates
for
DanceDanceRevolution
and
DanceRush
Stardom
(featured
in
some
venues)
since
the
beginning
of
2023.
Some
of
these
machines
have
not
been
updated
in
months,
with
some
going
as
far
back
as
November
2022
without
any
attention.
I
have
received
numerous
phone
calls
and
emails
about
the
progress
that
has
been
made
to
address
this
issue;
most
of
which
amount
to
nothing.
Other
arcade
chains
have
their
machines
updated
on
the
day
of,
while
Timezone
lags
behind
for
weeks
or
even
months
with
older
versions.
If
a
machine
is
updated
once,
the
same
Internet
issue
persists
and
we
need
to
go
back
to
constantly
bothering
the
staff
to
try
and
update
the
machines
when
another
releases.
This
unfortunately
takes
a
few
weeks
due
to
the
network
problems
that
haven’t
been
solved,
and
in
most
cases
no
one
knows
what
is
happening
with
the
updates
and
we
simply
end
up
spending
our
money
at
other
arcades
instead.
To
voice
her
frustrations
in
having
to
go
to
different
arcades
that
are
much
further
away
to
play
updated
games,
my
partner
left
a
review
about
the
state
of
the
DanceDanceRevolution
machine
at
the
Timezone
Highpoint
venue
in
Victoria.
The
poor
condition
of
the
machine’s
dance
pads
posed
a
serious
safety
risk
that
went
completely
unaddressed
by
the
arcade.
We
just
want
to
enjoy
our
favourite
games
without
hassle
but
it
seems
like
we
are
always
fighting
for
weeks
to
have
even
that.
I
feel
it
is
necessary
for
these
reviews
to
stay
until
such
a
time
when
the
care
shown
to
the
games
we
enjoy
and
the
money
that
we
spend
matches
what
is
seen
in
other
arcade
chains
and
venues.
