Connoisseur Cafe by Design. I was introduced to S.O.M. Shot On Military cafe in 2019 by a friend, have been going there since. What a treat to any coffee lover enjoying not only the coffee & tea taste, which the owners Steven Wang & Bijoux Xu source from sought after trade fairs, and also the premises ambience, rustic spiced with a modern touch that makes one feel just GREAT. As you walk in, you’re greeted by a contagious smile of Pat, welcoming words that make you feel special & stay with you day in & out. The coffee varieties are expertly prepared by the barista Janevit Ace – masterpieces of their own merits. Food is also served & prepared freshly on premises by both, Bijoux & Steven – menu is a speciality of its own spiced with novelty dishes, and the applaud is well deserved, worthy any 5 stars restaurant.

Just wow!! Amazing coffee to begin with and staff that ooze love of customer. Always love my children to experience what a city cafe should be and if you haven’t tried the breakfast burrito then make it a priority to do so. A little gem that we were drawn into by our noses on a wave of coffee magic

I love a bacon and egg roll after exercise so have had many in many locations.... And I have to say this is the best I have ever had. Surprisingly hard to get the ingredients, cooking and balance of basic to sophisticated. These guys have nailed it for me!! Coffee is great too!!

We have been a regular to SOM for last couple of years on and off. We've always liked their food and drinks. Today we had the eggs benedict and mushroom toast and oh my god, instantly one of the best sandwiches I've ever had and and she loved the eggs benedict. Props to Steven and his team, one of the best cafes around. Will continue to come back :)

Been going to Shot since its inception because of its exceptional coffee but now I have another reason - amazing hot smoked salmon salad curated by none other than Stephen. Before and after shows the result. Well done guys!!!

Perfect pressed sandwiches and coffee. Enjoyed breakfast in this small cafe, especially in a rainy day.

Wow my wife found this place on online so we popped last to check it out met by the staff super friendly, the sandwich’s we bought chicken and tuna were amazing for such a simple sandwich ticked all the boxes! Coffee was beautiful very well worth visiting prices were reasonable especially for the area

I was first introduced to SOM when I moved to cremorne. Good coffee, good food, great vibes. Over lockdowns, i got introduced to their sticky chai which is out of the world and the yummiest menu. It became a regular! Now despite having moved out of the area almost 1.5 years, we still make it a habit to visit because no one does sticky chai quite like Steven! And the food is utterly delectable. I can not recommend the lox enough - on eggs Benny or a bagel! A stellar shout out from today's meal was also the mushroom toastie - divine! Thank you for your warm service and for always give us happy tummies whenever we visit!
