This is very nice Park. Many other ponds other than the duck pond. Duck pond is equally beautiful. Good for Kids. Parking should not be a problem.

Lots of ducks, geese, swans & pelicans to feed. The swans are brave enough to to eat from your hand however you have to be brave enough to not flinch when they reach up their long necks to take it. Note occasionally they miss the bread & get a finger. The is currently some construction going on (July 2018) but many areas to feed from, some areas have cement underfoot others areas have dirt.

The black birds were amazing, and the fish aggressively eating bread was both scary and fun haha. The park itself is very big, but there are a lot of geese and ducks, so it was nice to take a walk to see them.

Worth checking out. Get there at sun rise to see flying foxes dipping in for a drink or black swans and other water birds throughout the day. Or just hangout at the cafe and enjoy a nice view!

The government doesn't want you to know this, but the ducks in the park are free and you can take them home. I have 578 ducks. (To be clear this is a joke, please don't steal ducks)

Totally love the duck lake in springtime. Centennial Park is a magnificent method to go through a loosening up day. The water looks dirtied. Off-road bicycle riders shouting past on grassed territories. The recreation center is presently excessively little for the populace. Presently they are building an extension to bring more people in. Best spot to connect with excellent nature.

The crowd likes this place, swan and duck viewing plus coffee is awesome here.

  • 3/5 alison f. 3 years ago on Google
Water looks polluted. Mountain bike riders screaming past on grassed areas. The park is now too small for the population. Now they are constructing a bridge to bring more ppl in.

Sanctuary for waterfowl at the south of Centennial Park. Don't feed them bread - it's bad for them. Buy some seed mix from a pet shop.
