First time at Sonder. $45 for an average and uneven haircut. Barber wasn’t very experienced in using the blade and scissors. Prices for people with not much experience should be cheaper than normal prices. Hopefully, this review assist the business to improve its quality standards. Cheers

Not only was it the best haircut I’ve had in a while, the staff and atmosphere of Sonder was amazing!! I had Ji cut my hair, he was professional, he asked me great questions to find the perfect cut, and then we had an awesome yarn about life. The price was unreal for the time, energy and precision that went into the haircut. I would recommend this barber to everyone!

Sammy is the most dedicated barber that I have ever met in Australia. His skills go beyond imaginable in any kind of shape or form when it comes to hairstyle, and he’s got his brilliant co-owner and a qualified crew to back him up. Sondar is always recommended, and I’ll always come back.

2+ years getting my hair and beard taken care of. Have been served by most barbers working here ( differing positives and negatives) but always leave feeling fresh and owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

You don’t only pay for the haircut but also the hospitality and conversations. You’re always greeted with a smile and offered a beverage upon entering, whether it’s a cold water or a refreshing beer. Ron is my regular, although, you’ll leave happy if you get your cut with any of the boys at Sonder. Couldn’t commend them more.

Lorenzo the Italian stallion is a blessing to all men unfortunate enough to have terrible hair genes. Not only has he managed to regrow my hair, boost my self esteem and neatened up the beard - he’s also a great emotional punching bag when you just want to come in for a chatty haircut and rip in to someone. Can’t recommend him and the Sonder boys enough! Be warned: Keeping my hands to myself is the hardest part; his glistening olive skin is moisturised daily.

My 14 year old son has his hair cut regularly by Levi. My son is very particular about his hair and is extremely hard to please but is always super happy with his cuts from Levi. He listens to what he asks for and says they always have good chats. Highly recommend this business.

Awesome job from Sonder Mona Vale. Josh took great care of me he was using top of the line trimmers/shavers and his work speaks for itself. I’ve been searching high and low for the perfect place for my hair for such a long time, and I’m chuffed to bits that I’ve found Sonder Men’s Grooming. I can’t believe how perfect my haircut turned out, Ji took a quick look at the reference photo that I’d taken, and worked his magic; transformed my hair completely, a true artist. Not only did he do a remarkable job, but also offered me excellent advice around recreating the style at home, and also around the general upkeep of my hair. Lorenzo and Ji were a pleasure to have a conversation with too, a very relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. This venue will definitely be my go to from now on.

Sam and Ji have worked hard to ensure the skills of all barbers in their employ are not only up to scratch but industry leading. I’m a regular of Kristan’s and all I can say is that man has the ability to increase my confidence with a pair of clippers. Seriously, do yourself a favour and get down here.

These gents are always welcoming and offer you a coffee , water or beer as soon as you walk in. Good to see young guys building a business which is their own. Ron has been cutting my hair for years and never fails to get it right. Keep it up lads
