Love this place! I'd recommend their Chicken Katsu and Pork Belly rolls but their vegetarian options are great too! Perfect place to grab a quick bite and a coffee. The staff are super friendly, I was surprised at how many regular customers they must have because they remember all of their names and usual orders. Definitely worth a visit!

Such a cute little place with the best sandwiches: we had the beef meatball & chicken katsu - both were SO tasty. Also had the Chicken Katsu Rice Bowl - yum as well. The Furikake Fries were a treat too. Lovely owner/staff who offered to put aside what we wanted when we rang ahead - super impressed 🤩

This place is simplicity personified, choose a food offering and do it the best. Most amazing egg roll ever. Great coffee and nice staff. A must try if you are around the area. They have a breakfast roll menu and a lunch roll offering. The bread rolls on their own area amazing, but coupled with interesting fillings which includes things like pickled fennel, and you have one of the most delicious rolls you will try. $10 for a roll and coffee, how can you go wrong.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Absolutely banging food and service! Swap out any protein for a thick delicious piece of Tofu Katsu to make any sandwich vegetarian. Perfect flavour pairings on a nice fresh baguette. Cute place too with lots of seating! $16 is a bit pricy but it’s worth every penny!

A cute little cafe in Surry Hill. The place is quite hidden and it's located behind the main street. They have a little outdoor seating section if you choose to dine in. We ordered the pork belly bahn mi and chicken katsu sandwich. They use baguettes for their sandwiches. It was very fresh. Glassy and crispy skin on the outside and super soft on the inside. The meat for both sandwiches were good, but you can tell they were not cooked to order. The chicken katsu do have a crispy skin but barely warm. Overall though, it was still a very delicious sandwich. The serving size for the pork belly sandwich was normal, but the chicken katsu sando was huge! I would suggest sharing half a sandwich of each menu item. That way, it'll be more enjoyable, and also, you get to try both sandwiches. I would come here again for a casual weekday/weekend lunch.

Chicken katsu sandwich is perfect. They nailed the bread with a perfectly soft and crispy roll.

Cute cafe in Surry Hills with Japanese / Asian inspired rolls and bowls. I tried the chicken katsu roll today. So fresh and delicious, generous amount of chicken katsu that went well with the tonkatsu sauce. The cafe has mostly outdoor seating available, lovely spot to sit outside and enjoy a roll under the sun. I would recommend checking out Lucky Pickle and I'd come back again!

Bit of a hidden gem but the owner and staff were super friendly and the pork roll aka their take on a banh mi was quite delicious. I would have just liked it a little more chilli but otherwise great

It is mainly take away. Has a very small menu but everything is exceptionally good and fresh. As everything is freshly made can be a bit of a wait after placing order.

Delicious sandwiches and best coffee in Surry Hills! We loved their Chicken Katsu and Kimchi sandwich. Very friendly staff and located in a nice, quiet and beautiful space just off Crown Street.

Finally made it here. Had the pork belly sandwich which was wonderful! Just a little sad that it only open on weekdays which made it hard for me to get there. Love to try the chicken katsu one day.

Great little cafe with sandwiches, coffee and rice bowls. It’s always pumping at lunch time as their sandwiches are very popular but don’t worry because they prepare the food quickly. I loved this chicken katsu bowl.
