As a celiac, it's often hard to feel completely safe when eating out. But Tres Jefes not only let's me eat with complete peace of mind, but the food is delicious and fairly priced! Cannot WAIT to come back!! Service was exceptional and the staff are lovely!!

Best tamales I have ever tasted and I lived in USA for most of my life in California and Nevada where there is a huge Mexican food cultural influence so needless to say I was very impressed!

You know when you are hankering for a really aesthetic Mexican meal and you stumble upon a very special place that caters to your taste buds? This is it! if you like spicy go for the extra spicy chicken taco taco. Absolutely awesome.

Tres Jefes is an excellent, friendly and fun place to eat! The tacos are always deliciously fresh and the elote is to die for!! The margaritas are also top notch - my favourite is the watermelon but they're all excellent. I have to stop myself from going back every Tuesday because otherwise I'll run out of money!

Incredible tacos and amazing service! Tried the tacos out of the food truck and had to have them cater our wedding. Jess and Harley's service up to our wedding date was great and all our guests raves about the food. Highly recommend!

My absolute favourite Mexican place! This food truck is 100% gluten free and safe for Coeliacs like myself. The tacos have quickly become my obsession, I’m always ordering a variety because I can never choose just one type. The food is consistent, fresh and extremely tasty. The workers/owners are lovely and really add to the whole experience of the food truck. Definitely recommend trying!

OMG AMAZING.... went to Wolf & Woman and the food truck was there. Better Mexican food than the Mexican restaurants in Wollongong. Owner is such a nice guy and the customer service is exceptional.

Highly disappointed. Staff were nice people with smiles which was great. The food was presented well but the Service was terrible, very dirty in the bathroom especially the toilet, And kitchen area. The food was not good as in the enchiladas are not anything like an enchilada. They were smothered in a spice That is meant to use sparingly. I have had so much Mexican in my life and I don’t know what has happened here. The quesadilla had no flavour, it was very bland. All of our food was nearly cold, we were the only people there. The guacamole was very very basic. Classic margaritas were so tart u had to force them down. No salsa, no dips, no hard tacos, no dessert and no salt, pepper, sauce at the table. The whole time we got up every minute to get our own things. Had to wait To get items as staff were using the phone so It was just one of the worst experiences. Not kid friendly at all as the tables are very high with tiny stools, kids fell off. I hate to give them this rating but we eat out a lot and always have pretty good experiences but this was not ok. We also got a dirty plate to eat off of which is no biggie but it just set the tone.

Amazing decoration very picturesque. Very welcoming staff. It makes my mouth water to think about the food. Everything super yummy. I recommend the quesadillas and the margaritas. Nos vemos pronto Los tres jefes!!

I visited this spot earlier this evening with my partner and my young nephew. Were we glad we came across Tres Jefes! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was amazing - the chef even came out and bought us complementary soup which he said we should try and we really enjoyed! The 3 of us enjoyed it so much that we said we'll be back here for dinner whenever we're in town. Cheers guys you rock!!!

We tried a range of vegetarian options and they were all fantastic. Fresh and full of authentic flavour! The Sangria was so delicious. Although we are in a social distancing way of life at the moment, the ease of ordering takeaway online was great. Our meals were packaged perfectly and presentation was still fantastic. We can't wait to have this again.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, and wonderful accomodating staff. Cosy inside and sunny outside.

The vibe and food are pretty good at this place but there were quite a few negatives too. When we arrived we were told to just grab a seat and then sat there for ages before we were approached by staff. The first couple of tecate beers were nice and cold but then the next round was warm. Another thing we couldn't understand was they turned away at least half a dozen tables as it had hit 8pm. If I was operating as a small business and people kept turning up I would be more than happy to welcome one and all.

Coriander was in the food but not noted on the menu. You either love or hate coriander. It makes me I'll The saw me picking it out of my meal, asked how my meal was and didn't offer me a replacement without the coriander. Not good business.
