The food was more than amazing, no actual words could describe how divine it was! The Dark and Stormy is a new favorite! Dessert was delicious! We really enjoyed the live piano music! Angel was our server and he was wonderful! The view was absolutely incredible! We will definitely be back!

Truly spectacular experience! We were celebrating and they seated us in a beautiful corner booth overlooking the sunset. All the food was delicious and spot on. Highlights were clam chowder (the most flavorful one I’ve ever had), the full seafood tower (super fresh oysters, yummy ahi tuna, great crab), and the seafood pasta (the broth was so deep and rich!). They even brought a surprise cake to celebrate! Chocolate mousse was out of this world.

We heard we came for the oyster happy hour. 1.50 an oyster. Ordered 2 dozen and the wife loved every one of them. I had the fish and chips. Wish there was just a lil more food on the plate however it did hit the spot. Ordered the whiskey smash and old fashioned and of course a few more. Ocean view is incredible and the service very nice. I say check it out.

Come for the view and live piano, if anything. Had the 3 course Brunch; Great Bloody Mary, Oysters were poorly shucked with a lot of sand & shell, Prime Rib was average. Strawberry shortcake was basic yet tasty. Service was pleasant yet infrequent. Overall the price to experience / quality ratio results in no real desire to return.

I’m told this is the best view in town ad I believe it. Spectacular ocean views. Make a reservation if you don’t want to sit I the bar area. I was there during happy hour and had two delicious mojitos for $8 a piece. I also a had a cup of clam chowder and the lobster Mac n cheese. I have a beef with clam chowders that taste like bacon. There were plenty of clams in this chowder, but it tasted like bacon. I’d rather taste the clams, but this seems to be pretty common unfortunately. The lobster Mac and cheese was good. Service wasn’t the best.

Right on the shores of Pacific Ocean with great ocean views and indoor ambiance. Friendly staff and awesome food and drinks. Do reserve your seat and try to get seating near the windows. The sunset views are amazing.

Planned a date here for our anniversary. The staff accommodated request to sit in a booth overlooking the water, and gave us a quieter table away from the bar. Our waiter, Michal, was wonderful. She checked in on us regularly, and they also surprised us with a complimentary anniversary dessert! The dungeness cioppino and seafood pasta were flavorful and generous! We'll be back for sure.

Had drinks at the bar and then had a work meeting downstairs. All the appetizers we had were great. The staff was also amazing and professional. The namesake drink was strong. The views are amazing. The salmon at dinner was a big highlight for me. Dessert was hard to resist

This is a place where you will be treated like, and eat like ROYALTY! I ordered the oysters, and then I told my server to tell the kitchen to serve me whatever they want. Whatever they are the most proud of! He returned with wagyu & scallops with spinach! The FLAVORS! I swear, they must cook the spinach in duck fat haha! How does spinach have so much flavor?! There were little hidden flavors all over my plate. They don't just "salt" or use "seasoning", I can tell it's how and what they cook their food in that blooms the diverse flavors! I finished every last bite, and then ordered coconut prawns and bananas foster bread pudding with a brulee'd banana. ATE IT ALL . All of this mouth and mind pampering, set to a perfect ocean view & sunset, straight out of a movie. Must go here!

Good : Great view ! Clam chowder, warm apple crumble , especially the clam chowder , water like but very flavorful , inside full of clam! Crispy calamari just average Seafood pasta , ink noodle is too chewy , small portions not worth $36 Hostess is not that friendly, just asked if no reservations ,walk in is acceptable, poker face answered need 10 mins but never call us until we ask….

What a quaint place located in Pacifica, CA. We were seated at a table with the view of the ocean. The food was great and they had a pianist performing. We'll definitely return to this spot.

Moonraker is a great place to enjoy fresh seafood and stunning ocean views. The restaurant is located inside the Lighthouse Hotel and has a cozy and elegant atmosphere. The service is friendly and attentive, and the menu offers a variety of dishes to suit different tastes. I ordered a bunch of appetizers, and they were fresh and delicious. For the main course, I had the Dungeness crab legs, which were succulent and tender. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. I also enjoyed the Pacifica-inspired cocktails, which were refreshing and creative. The highlight of the meal was the breathtaking view of the beach and the surf from the floor-to-ceiling windows. It was a relaxing and romantic experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for a special night out in Pacifica.

The food was good. We had chiopino and scallops. The service was not bad, but they refused to fully honor Travel Zoo vouchers I and other people had. The voucher clearly said two cocktails or wine up two $33, but the server said $14 cocktails are not included. We paid for the cocktails, and they were not bad. There is very loud, poorly plaid live piano music during lunch hours. It was annoying.

This place was AMAZING! Had a gluten free menu and food was cooked to perfection. The coconut prawns were as good as everyone said, I can’t believe they were gluten free. The pineapple dipping sauce almost tasted like applesauce, very good. We had scallops and squash for dinner and I very much enjoyed the sweet taste of the squash purée, it surprised me. This place has an elegant ambiance, lovely piano music and is a date night must if in the area. If you are gluten free you’ll have lots of great food options here.

Moonraker is blessed with an amazing view. You get to see the ocean and watch the sunset and there’s mirrors galore so it doesn’t matter where you sit. Just on that alone, it warrants a visit. My family came here for Thanksgiving, so there was a bit of a unique menu. That being said, everything was delicious. From the bisque for an appetizer to the pumpkin cheesecake at dessert I enjoyed every bite. Pairing it with tasty wines and cocktails made for a great family experience. The one negative I had is that the service was lackluster. I don’t want to be too hard because it was Thanksgiving and I’m grateful that people were willing to work and allow my family to have this experience, but between the time we were seated and the time we had someone approach our table was nearly 20 minutes. Once the service started, it was fine but that wait was a bit uncomfortable as we watched the tables next to us be showered with food and drink.

Not enough words in the vocabulary to describe the amazing food and service! The food never fails to satisfy! The staff is wonderful and on their game! The ambience of the restaurant , and the views of the ocean, just takes it to another level!Love this place!!! ❤️

This is a very nice restaurant with ocean view. Food is fantastic! We ordered Mac n cheese crawfish and coconut prawns. Crab cakes for appetizer. Service was great and food came out fast. Make sure you have a reservation. There are a few cute shops next door.

My dining experience at MOONRAKER was truly exceptional. From the moment we entered, the welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff made us feel Comfortable. The menu offered a delightful array of dishes, each expertly crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every bite was a culinary delight, and I can’t wait to return to at MOONRAKER to explore more of their delicious creations. Highly recommended. Thank you once again.

Come to Moonraker for the sunset views of the ocean at Rockaway beach, not the food! We booked a 6pm reservation on a Saturday night and it took them almost 30 min to seat us. Service was a bit slow despite half the ocean view booths being available. Overall, I would only come back if we had out of town family or friends who wanted to eat traditional American with a view. The menu felt a little dated - mostly surf and turf and traditional American dishes. We shared the crab cakes appetizer and I got the lobster Mac and cheese along with a house salad. I was pleasantly surprised that a half portion still came with half a lobster tail, though the spiral pasta itself had too much cream and not enough cheese. My husband tried the pot roast which was surprisingly plated and came with a side of zucchini noodles. For dessert, we shared the apple crumble which didn't end up being anything special.

Very enjoyable meal. The crab legs and clam chowder soup were outstanding. But the view - that is what makes the restaurant such a special treat.

If you don't come here for their food you should come here for the gorgeous first row ocean view and the golden sunset. Service was great and the food was very decent when we visited. Great date night spot and a place for special occasions and not break your bank.

The food here didn’t really do it for me. The fare tasted ok, but rather uninspired for the price. Perhaps it’s just me. The waitstaff however were helpful and pleasant. I can imagine sunset views here being quite nice.

Loved, loved, loved it here! Was in SF for my B'Day week and chose this as my b'day dinner spot... So happy I did!!!! The surroundings, views, ambiance, food and libations were outstanding!! I will definitely return!! Don't be hesitant about the distance... well worth the drive!

I arrived early (around 17:00) and without a reservation on a weekday. Service was very attentive and friendly, and I was informed of the new menu items. The house salad was simple but delicious. The greens had a pleasant bite, and the carrot shavings were tender. There was just enough balsamic dressing, neither too runny nor too thick. The petrale sole dish was superb. The fish flakes easily with a moist interior and slightly crisp crust. The sauce and sides of green beans and mash were also well seasoned. The bread was soft, but not quite what I was expecting. Tasty with the butter though!
