Very cozy atmosphere. The really warm and attentive nature of the Schwyter couple and their daughter makes you immediately feel very comfortable. The food deserves 5 * and more. Prices are more than just reasonable. An insider tip for gourmets to pamper themselves with culinary delights and unwind allow!

A place that has a lot of authentic feel to it. Very friendly & welcoming staff. The tomato soup was out of this world, and the food that followed was very good for the price charged. It's worth the drive.

Small, fine and "hyggelige" restaurant with a very good, sustainable menu made from regional products. I have rarely eaten such good beef fillet. The cakes were also very tasty. Absolutely recommended 👍👍👍.

On our Norway/Sweden tour we met the lovely Swiss emigrant family. They have been running their Café&Bistro Juvengård in Åseda with passion and very successfully for 7 years. We were allowed to park our camper conveniently on the meadow. The restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday and is small, table reservations are a must. The food was absolutely exquisite with fresh local or home-grown ingredients! The cakes were to die for! Overnight guests can also enjoy the B&B in the yurts (pre-reservation only). I can recommend this restaurant at any time! Thank you very much to the Schwyter family, it was a pleasure!

There is a totally fantastic lunch place just outside Åseda! We found it by pure accident on our way from Älmhult to Finspång. The place is run by a swiss family, opened a couple of months ago. They grow vegetables, fruits themselves, have poultry so almost all the food they cook is made of the raw products from their own garden. Tasty food, kids menu, coffee and pastry, cosy home atmosphere. A perfect place to stop at and take a rest from driving especially when you travel with children. Warmly recommended!! 💓💓
