Admission costs €2. The temporary exhibition is free. At first the man explained to us a little about the history of the city. Very interesting. There are several short videos.

A nice museum, which can be done briefly or more extensively. There are very very interesting parts about a Motril that is no longer seen on the street

Very well organized museum. The history of the region is well explained thanks to videos and clear explanatory panels. The museum building is new and very clean. The path from room to room is clearly signposted for a chronological discovery. The welcome is friendly and the reception employee warned us that everything is in Spanish. It’s a shame that the videos don’t have English subtitles and that the written explanations are only in Spanish. Allow more than an hour to visit as the stations are rich in explanations.

It was not open because the street was under construction, I think that is not a reason to close because it could be very difficult to walk past.

When I had the opportunity to visit the Motril History Museum, I was surprised by all the detailed information on the local history of the city. We were a group and were surprised by the cordiality and the great explanation about the origin of Motril and its wall. .. as well as the exposed material.

It is an interesting museum, but the best thing about it is how Guide Eduardo explains it to you. who left us impressed with his wisdom, gave us a master lesson Thank you very much to him and to the teacher who took us, I would repeat more kisses, I loved it, very grateful

A great museum with lots of information about the local history of Motril throughout the years. Especially focusing on the sugar cane production and how it helped shaped the culture today. Would recommend checking it out. The only downsides are that it is purely in Spanish, but with google translate, we were able to decipher the meaning. And also, the lack of direction on which way you're supposed to walk around the exhibits, as we managed to go backwards throughout causing a bit of confusion.

We were there before Christmas, the teacher and several classmates went to visit the museum, it was very interesting and enjoyable, the guide introduced us to the history of Motril telling many things that I did not know, it was a trip from the past to the present of my town passing through sugar cane and the industrial revolution to the present day.
