Average beach. Pebbles instead of sand. Clear water. Fish to see when you snorkel. Kids really enjoyed it.

This is a pebble beach with toilet and shower facilities and wheel chair access to shaded decking. On my Saturday visit in mid October, it was 27 degrees and the water was clear. The beach was clean (much cleaner that Castell de Ferro where I was staying). No dog poo here! Snorkelling around the rock, separating this beach from the main Salobrena beach, was great - hundreds of fish to be seen. The promenade was quiet (Saturday out of high season) but open for business with most restaurants open and doing good trade. Wonderful background of atop the cliff of Salobrena.

Went there for snorkeling but nothing was there but sand! For snorkling or scuba diving you MUST get a boat. Otherwise all good. The water in August is still a bit cold. There are better beaches. The picture you see is taken in the middle of August and its cloudy. You have a lot of sun too but the water was not warm enough ...at least for me.

Romano
