This
was
a
genuine
last
minute,
spur-of-the-moment
choice.
It
was
so
busy,
we
expected
disappointment.
However,
a
wonderful
couple
(we
assume
regulars)
who
had
almost
finished
their
meal
gave
up
their
table
so
we
could
be
seated.
Ever
grateful
to
them:
they
were
a
lovely
couple
and
seemed
to
be
having
a
wonderful
evening,
their
generosity
was
so
kind.
We
were
seated,
and
made
simple
requests:
"Charcuterie
and
fromage,
s'il
vous
plait,
and
wine!"
What
followed
was
the
most
delicious,
delightful
plate
of
both,
in
the
most
fun,
welcoming
place
we've
been
to
in
Paris.
Great
music,
extremely
friendly
local
clientele,
wonderful
service
which
kept
the
wine
flowing
just
as
we
needed...
We
had
the
most
terrific
evening.
So
incredibly
relaxed,
we
sat
for
as
long
as
needed
to
demolish
the
food
and
enjoy
several
glasses,
and
never
felt
rushed
-
in
fact,
it
felt
like
we
could
have
stayed
all
evening.
The
sort
of
place
I'd
return
to
in
a
heartbeat
if
I
ever
come
back
to
Paris.
