What a treat! Went there on a quiet last night to Paris and I loved it. Run by a father and daughter duo, the menu is minimal but delicious. They are also really friendly and I left having a few more shots than I had planned for.

Chef PJ, the owner, is a wonderful person, a fantastic chef, and loves to talk about and educate you on great food. The tiny restaurant is truly one of a kind. We ate the best meal we have ever had here during Chef PJ’s food tour as part of Eating Europe. We highly recommend the tour, but definitely the restaurant if nothing else. We had a great time and it was our favorite thing we did while in Paris/Montmartre.

Le Petit Moulin is the quintessential Parisian restaurant, with the exception of having very accommodating and friendly staff. The food is of very high quality, and you can tell that care is taken in the suitable wine collection. The atmosphere is everything you could imagine for your perfect Parisian experience, and more! Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area, but make sure to book first - space is limited.

We had an amazing time at Le Petit Moulin. It really is a petite place, but the owner and the staff were quick to find us a spot and were incredibly nice to us. Would love to come back again when or if we ever find ourselves in Paris again.

This was a genuine last minute, spur-of-the-moment choice. It was so busy, we expected disappointment. However, a wonderful couple (we assume regulars) who had almost finished their meal gave up their table so we could be seated. Ever grateful to them: they were a lovely couple and seemed to be having a wonderful evening, their generosity was so kind. We were seated, and made simple requests: "Charcuterie and fromage, s'il vous plait, and wine!" What followed was the most delicious, delightful plate of both, in the most fun, welcoming place we've been to in Paris. Great music, extremely friendly local clientele, wonderful service which kept the wine flowing just as we needed... We had the most terrific evening. So incredibly relaxed, we sat for as long as needed to demolish the food and enjoy several glasses, and never felt rushed - in fact, it felt like we could have stayed all evening. The sort of place I'd return to in a heartbeat if I ever come back to Paris.

Can’t review this on the wine or food because we weren’t served either. Went in at 9:45pm and the bartender/ server was not interested in helping us. She seemed more interested in flirting with other customers. We didn’t even receive a menu for 15 minutes. After that we tasted a single wine and got a food menu. The server decided it was a good time for a cigarette instead of bringing us a glass of wine or food. Wasted 45 minutes of our lives sitting here for nothing.

Visited last night, two tourists from overseas practicing our rusty French from school. The food was amazing, 10/10, and the service welcoming and friendly. Very local feel to this restaurant If you arrive, and it looks crowded and just a small bar downstairs, do not give up; theres a dining room upstairs. You just need to barge in and ask for a table. Don't be shy, everyone was friendly!

Honestly a great experience! Very family friendly. Tons of folks from the neighborhood stopped in for a drink and to chat with the owner and his daughter. The cheese board was definitely the best one we had in town. The ambiance of this place was unreal! Highly recommend! We got the cheese board and the sardines and wanted to get an entree but ended up being full on wine and cheese😅

Looking for a place not to far from Moulin Rouge? Go here, this place is worth the visit. The owner PJ is the best host in Paris 😆, fun guy with a great personality! The lady serving us was amazing as well. We had the Beef Bourguignon. Beautiful! We also had the Escargot and French Onion soup, both Excellent. Thanks for a great experience Le Petit Moulin 😉

Such a cute tiny family run place, loved it, we both had the grilled chicken salad and it was really awesome. Saw some tomahawks come out and they looked so good!

5/5 stars! This small and cozy restaurant is one to remember. It's laid back and the classic French food and wine are not to be forgotten. Skip the tourist traps and head to this local gem. Using our limited French vocabulary, we were able to order a beautiful fromage et charcuterie spread and duck confit for dinner. The staff was super kind and fun throughout our visit, even sending us off with a shot. We also loved the nostalgic music selection and the staff's serenading. Snag a reservation and sit back and enjoy one of the best meals in all of Paris.

An all around great time, amazing drinks, wonderful and friendly atmosphere, PJ is the best and took the time to speak to everyone and knew many there personally…it felt like a second home. And the food was incredible too. Can’t wait to visit again

If you like great quality food with unique spices and way of cooking, you must try this restaurant. Loved the escargot and the sauce that was in it. The beef was exceptional and so tender. Highly recommend.

Brilliant place. Staff were super welcoming and had a lovely chat. Great tables inside and outside. Cheese board was TDF and wine selection was banging. Only regret is that we had dinner elsewhere. 100% would recommend coming here. Whole area is a great vibe but this is a must in the evenings.

We made reservations via The Fork a month before arriving. When we got to the restaurant, it was closed. We received no notifications from the owner or the Fork about a closure at all. This is extremely unprofessional of the restaurant and The Fork both. We went out of our way to come to this restaurant as we were excited about going to support a small business before the Moulin Rouge show; instead we were left without a reservation anywhere near by. I strongly recommend against this restaurant.

Excellent food from an excellent Chef. We did a food tour with wine Tasting. We learned a lot about french food, wine, Montmartre and even about french history. Nothing less then sublime. A must go!

We ate here during a good tour and it was lovely. The wine selection is stellar and escargot were delicious.

Despite being the size of a shoebox this quirky corner wine bar punches above its weight with it's selection of wines and generous charcuterie boards. If you can bag an outside table you are in prime position for a spot of people watching, something the non conforming residents of this neighbourhood provides excellent opportunities for.

Awesome little rock bar. It's very sincere, the staff and regulars are very friendly, and the vibe is tops for anyone who isn't quite mainstream. Easily a favourite find, will be back.

The owner of the bar disrespected me and my friends referring to the place as "his bar" and "his wine", just because he judged we were talking to loud and were disturbing him while he had drinks next to us. The most hurtful money I spent in my life. If anyone want to go there, be quiet.

I came here for dinner. What I enjoyed the most was the vibe, wine, lovely service, and charcuterie board. All really great! My partner and I also both ordered steaks which were cooked beautifully, my only feedback is that the sauce it came with had cinnamon which can be a big hit or miss (miss for me), and the salad was an afterthought. I’d love to come here again for drinks and nibbles!

😐 Granted, setting and mood are nice. Staff is, for the most part, friendly’ish. Food was average, in other words, rather disappointing. I tried all dishes but I had the pizza, it was lukewarm, chewy and could barely hold together towards the center as it was so moist. I wouldn’t go again but that’s...
