REVIEW: ❤️​ My favourite at Anchovy Bandit was the unreal amount of prosciutto we got. They made the portion 1.75, which ended up being 3 plates worth. It was a minor side dish, but as a prosciutto lover I was in heaven. it worked so well with the sourdough focaccia. Would highly recommend this as an entree! 👍​ ❌​ My least favourites were the oysters and the lack of toppings on the mushroom pizza. The oysters were large (great), but had the unpleasant saltiness that threw my friends off who weren't used to eating oysters. It certainly wasn't one of the best/freshest oysters I've had either. 😓 Although the leopard spotting is fantastic on all pizzas 🔥, the toppings on the mushroom pizza left more to be desired. Pictures included, but you can tell it's not quite an even smattering so you get uneven pieces. Would like to see more mushroom pieces/more even distribution on a pizza. 😤​ Service was friendly and were great at keeping an eye on the water levels. The atmosphere was also quite loud. The jovial atmosphere and the people that I was with... I've never laughed so hard in my life. 🎇​​ Even though we had an odd number of people, they were generous at allowing us choose an extra pizza as part of the set menu! Great place to celebrate a birthday, and the chefs do a great job at plating the supplied cake. There is a cakeage fee of $3.00pp. 🍰

You know when food is so simple, yet inspiring & makes you want to go home and to recreate it! This is the place. How they even make pickled squash & fennel taste out of this world! Highly recommend the feed me banquet! Can’t wait to go back.

We hadn't been to Anchovy Bandit since it first opened but had good memories of the food so after a movie at Palace Nova Prospect we headed here for dinner. The staff are fantastic- it was really busy but they were all smiles and really prompt with their service. Great food! We tried several entrees and a pasta but no pizzas (but they looked really good so I think we'll be back to try one!). Plenty of wines by the glass which was handy.

Delicious! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with exceptional service, and it set the scene for what was a fantastic dinner. The flavours were delicious and not too salty. The flatbread with burrata and spicy marmalade was a good start and pizza or any of the pasta dishes you can’t go wrong with. The ravioli duck is a winner and the unique sauce.

I haven't been back since 2020 and so much has changed!! the starters were my favourite and their Bandito Pinot Noir was a hit. We sat outside and the weather was perfect but forgot how loud prospect road can be sometimes. We really enjoyed the stracciatella and peach salad, the pappardelle was a let down which is so sad because it looked fab on teh gram. a-lot of the pappardelle were stuck together so we were eating layers of pasta and there was a little too much lemon juice. The customer service was great but felt a little pushed at times for main to come. But overall, i am always keen to go back as their pizza is always good!!

Great place to have brunch! Usually crowd on weekends! They have a simple menu with a variety of food for vegetarians. Coffee was ok! Waiting time for food was like 20mins since it was super crowded when we got there!

I'm a little disappointed in a couple of things. When we arrived we asked for a seat with a bit more back support, standing there, there were 2 booths (that we could see) available. The guy said there was nothing available at that time and he'd arrange for a seat with better back support. Unfortunately it never came and the booths with back support remained empty. To the food.. we ordered a wagyu steak sando for starters and boy was that underwhelming. $26 for that was just sad.. The taste was just strong punches of flavour and did not go together. The lemon lime bitters didn't help it go down well either - imagine lime cordial, half a glass of lemon juice out of the bottle and a bit of bitters. It was not refreshing, just straight sour. Onto a better take. The margherite pizza came out relatively quickly and tasted alright. The flavours were all there, it was just that the pizza base was quite soggy when trying to eat it. The toppings came off, but it was still nice to eat. The ragu pasta was delicious. The meat was so tender and flavours were amazing - hands down the best thing about the dinner. I would not rush back to eat here again, except for that pasta.

Anchovy is always a pleasant dining experiencing with consistently good food and friendly service. Always book a table as the place is busy! Apart from awesome pizza, anchovy pumps out a mean pasta! I’m happy with the incredible bread and salumi for starters - so good!

Gf and I visited Adelaide, she chose to have dinner here and wow.. firstly the service here was 10/10 . Leanne (hope I spelt it correctly) served us all night and she was super friendly and bubbly and attentive throughout our dinner. We got the “directors cut” and $75 pp and the chefs sent us whatever. we were so happy we chose this and didn’t know what to expect. Each dish was so good!! the pizza we were given was with kimchi & surprisingly was delicious!! Anyways if you’re thinking about coming just go!!! Everything was great and would definitely come back again.

Taste was okay. Size was smaller for this price. Better options available out there taste was just okay not as i was expecting. Less cheese in my opinion. Wish there pizza was as tasty as their fancy names though.

Fancy Italian place serving a small range of Italian meals including Pasta and Pizza. We had pizza and dessert. Oh and a sneaky cocktail. Pizza was thin base, wood oven and tasty. The cocktail List looks better than the food menu in my opinion. Prices are for the well paid. But hey it’s only money. NOW the 5th star is all based on the Design and decor of this place. It’s a stunning mix of wood and leather with round features and a 70s NYC Italian theme. I’ll be back one day for some pasta. Remember to book.

6 stars ⭐️ this place is a total vibe. We had the 5 course feed me, and were astounded! Cocktails are delicious too! The staff are amazing, so attentive and friendly! Great service!

Loved it! Very good customer service as well. We had a mistake in one of our orders and they were so nice to change the food. The atmosphere is so nice, lots of indoors and outdoors seats. Good food and breakfast. It's got a bathroom and wheelchair accessible entrance too. A must go!

Service is friendly and the fit out of the shop is beautiful, with everything very clean. The starter of bread with cheese is yummy and the price tag of $26 is worth it. The issue is, it’s a very small menu (one page only, pictured) and no salami pizza option was very disappointing. Nothing on the menu stood out to me to choose - usually I want everything. Had to go for the mortadella pizza, but there’s literally nothing on it! So $30 for a pizza base. Would never come back unless they improve their menu options and at least put a pizza sauce on the pizza dough to give some flavour, flavour was desperately needed on both pizzas.

I've visited this venue numerous times over the years and consistently leave feeling completely satisfied. Our most recent visit was for the Valentine's Day special menu, which was absolutely perfect. The service is always impeccable, the ambiance exceptional, and the pizza never fails to impress. The garlic butter for the crusts is simply beyond words. This venue remains one of my top choices for a dinner that I'm confident will impress anyone I bring along.

Food was really good but a little spicy for me! It was absolutely amazing I just couldn't eat heaps of the burrata due to the spice (but it doe say chilli on the menu so be warned!) Also had some pasta which was great and a cocktail which was also really yummy! Loves the vibes here, I'll be back for sure.

Food was tasty! The Westside mushroom Pizza was amazing, but could have had more mushrooms as there was a fair bit of cheese which meant the mushroom flavours were lost a little. The sourdough with duck skin butter was also great, and a generous serving of the butter certainly made us happy! Service was good, aside from one waiter taking our drinks order and forgetting to bring them to us (we reminded another waiter after about a 15 minute wait who got them for us instead).

Love this place. Food is absolutely amazing, small menu so not a huge variety but everything on it is delicious! However, dessert menu is bland, wish there was a tiramisu. Service can sometimes be a bit slow, waiting a while for food or drinks, pasta comes on a plate instead of bowl which as an Italian I don’t like 😂 And the chairs are so tiny and uncomfortable, no back support which is what you want when sitting in a restaurant for 1-2+ hours. Still love this place tho! Had this potato dish was delicious and so was the spaghetti 😍

The chefs at this establishment are wizards The food is unique and fresh. Highly suggest the tasting menu options - you get to sample things you usually would try and leave super full! Also shout out to the lovely waitress we had. It was her first shift and she did an amazing job ☺️

The food is stunning and very well presented, especially the duck ravioli.

We had the directors cut - 4 courses over 2 & 1/2 hrs. The food was incredible! Full of flavour and so beautifully cooked. The staff were knowledgeable, attentive and personable. Our servers, Laura and Lily did an incredible job. Will be back again soon.

I'm not sure why I haven't written a review sooner. I take my young family here for an early dinner once a month. I've eaten dinner here over 15 times. These guys are hospitality professionals, food and service is always top tier, and my wife and I being in the food industry our selves appreciate the extensive food and wine knowledge from the staff. I'll be heading here again in a week or so to take my out of state family here.

Very nice and cozy atmosphere The staff were very and helpful The pizza was amazing, one of the best that I have in Adelaide! The pasta was average and it was not very hot when arrived at our table. The berry Panna cotta was a bit weird and not my favourite dessert. We've also tried the cocktail "watermelon sour" that was okay but not with a strong watermelon flavour and not sweet enough on my opinion. Conclusions: If you like pizza this place is perfect and I definitely recommend it but if you want a good plate of pasta or a nice cocktail I'll suggest to try something else.

Covid times: only doing outdoor dining and takeaway food - we can still eat out safely 🙂. Dinner at @anchovybanditbar - been meaning to come here for ages, and we are very glad we made it! The food was amazing, and the service was great too. . Blue Swimmer Crab: crème fraîche, roe, toast. Wow this snack dish was delicious! The roast was soooooo good 🤤🤤🤤, and worked so well with the crab! . Spencer Gulf Prawn Sando: garlic, chilli butter. The chilli butter sauce was quite spicy, and gave this dish a really nice kick! Yummy 😋😋. . Grilled nectarines: wow I really loved this dish! The nectarines were very sweet, with just a tiny bit of tartness. Yummy 🤤🤤. . Scallops and cucumber: this dish has an amazing presentation. The scallops were sliced and placed in between slices of cucumber. Very fresh flavours! . Casarecce: pork sausage, kimchi, chinese broccoli. I didn't know what to expect for this dish, but we wanted to try it anyway, and we are certainly glad we did! The kimchi wasn't overpowering in any way, and just added nice bold flavours. . Woodfired Cabbage: mushroom xo, parmigiano. Loved this cabbage! So smokey and full of yummy flavours 😋😋. Can't believe they can make cabbage taste so good 😅😅. . Yoghurt sorbet: caramelised white choc, cherries, basil, crostoli. Very nice flavours for this dessert dish. Great combination of ingredients that all worked really well together. Can't complain at all!

Impeccable place. This place is always consistent with excellent service, great food and even better drinks/wine. The staff are personable, providing a great vibe for a date night or for a bigger group. The burrata with flat bread is a hit (can’t go wrong), with some other starters, ending with pizza. The red wine list has tasty options that pair well with the food! The whole fit out gives off a classy and sophisticated feel, matching all other elements. Their cocktails are THE BEST! 😍😍 I also have to say that I’ve rarely met such amazing and committed wait staff - the two girls who served us yesterday were FABULOUS!! 🥰🌈 The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that I don’t believe there are enough good vegetarian food options 😊😊
